Trevon Diggs finished dead last among corners in yards allowed and was the third most targeted CB last season. He's a feast or famine player who's overrated.

Looming Stefon Diggs Contract situation - What do you do?
Doc Brown replied to CountDorkula's topic in The Stadium Wall
They could leave it up to Josh as they have plenty of wiggle room with his contract. -
Was Allen the top prospect on the Bills board?
Doc Brown replied to SoMAn's topic in The Stadium Wall
My board was Rosen, Darnold, Mayfield, Jackson, Allen in that order. I'd look smarter completely flipping it around. I KNOW NOTHING!!! -
Tyreek seeking a trade [Now: Traded to the Dolphins]
Doc Brown replied to Dablitzkrieg's topic in The Stadium Wall
Whaley never traded for an established #1 WR. He instead thought it was a good idea to give up a 1st rounder to move up and draft a WR who turned out to be a mental head case. Grier basically did what Beane did to get Diggs (both going into their rookie QB's third year). The bigger difference being he had to sign Hill to a massive contract. They still have a ton of picks next year and a solid young defense. The Fins now have a revamped o-line, a scheme that fits Tua's skill set perfectly, and three legitimate weapons in Hill, Waddle, and Geiseke. Now Tua has no excuses in his third season and Bridgewater is waiting in the wings if he fails. Miami is basically the 49ers of the AFC now and will be significantly better the next few years. They don't have an elite QB so we still should take the division but it got more difficult after this move and there's no way around that. -

Are NFC teams aware you can also trade? -
2022 Free Agency - Around the NFL Thread
Doc Brown replied to Draconator's topic in The Stadium Wall
Which is weird because he couldn't wait to get out of Dallas. Houston makes sense. Browns make sense from a football perspective. Not sure if you want a free spirit like Beasley after you just sold your soul for Watson. New England is more of a long shot but he'd be a nice safety blanket for McCorkle. Arizona makes a lot of sense if he wants to go out West after they lost Kirk. -

They already have Cobb in the slot. With two first round picks they could potentially draft two WR's and then trade one of them to the Seaawks for Metcalf. Just a thought. -
Coaching arrogance when it comes to former first round picks on both sides of the line.

Supreme Court Justice Stephen Breyer To Retire
Doc Brown replied to Tiberius's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
I disagree. Saying he'd nominate the first black woman SCOTUS if elected help him win the primaries and the presidency. He followed through on that promise. You may disagree with the tactic but I can't argue the effectiveness of it. -
Beane after the McKissic news….. Beane: NOBODY does that to me!!! !@#$ it. Forget my cap ethics. Sign Von. Sign OJ. Give me Shaq and Jordan. Give me any rb that can catch. Give me the black Beasley. Intern: what about CB 2? Beane: Woah. Let’s not go crazy here.

A move to not feel pressure to reach for rb in the draft.

Joe Haden… I think he’s our guy at CB2
Doc Brown replied to GolfandBills's topic in The Stadium Wall
Relationship seemed to have soured. Haden wanted an extension before last season and didn't get one. There were trade rumors with him before the deadline that never materialized. Wallace is a younger and cheaper option. -
Bills trade 7th rnd pick for backup Case Keenum
Doc Brown replied to Hebert19's topic in The Stadium Wall
I made that comment before the contract restructuring. He's well worth a 3.5m dollar cap hit. -

That's getting cocky. We needed him to play week 18 last year just to ensure the division title. -
From Dawg Pound to Bills Mafia - Browns Fans Leaving for the Bills
Doc Brown replied to wppete's topic in The Stadium Wall
He had his best season statistically by a mile in 2020 without Hopkins. 4,822 yards, 33 TD's, 7 INT's, 112.4 passer rating. I guess you could use the garbage time argument but he's a damn good qb. I think he's a garbage human being but can't deny the Browns just put themselves in Super Bowl contention over the next few years. -

Well, it's the Browns so it's still going to be a problem. You sold your soul and you still suck? It'll be similar to that South Park episode where Cartman pretended to be mentally handicapped to get in the Special Olympics and he finished in last place anyways. -

The league already set the standard with the Roethlisberger decision where no criminal chargers were filed. Goodell can just suspend him simply by saying a "pattern of behavior using bad judgments" which violates the league's personal conduct policy. You may not agree that the commissioner should have that much power but that's what the player's union agreed to.
