  1. The last and only time (I believe) where we were sole betting favorites to win the Super Bowl was before the '91 season after "Wide RIght." In other words, it's pretty uncharted territory for most Bills fans. There's too many variables that have to fall right for us to win so I'd bet the field if that was an option. However, it'll pry be the most confident I feel entering a season since '91.
  2. I wish they would’ve added a non injury control group in this study. Obviously a torn ACL will shorten many careers but without a control group it’s impossible to know to what extent.
  3. With the 77th pick in the 2022 TSW Mock Draft, the Minnesota Vikings select Martin Emerson, DB, Mississippi State. Vikings go all defense with their first three picks and fill a need at CB. Emerson is a tall and physical corner who uses both these traits to be effective in man and zone coverage (kid has 33 ½ inch arms). The Browns @frostbitmic are on the clock.
  4. That's a lower percentage than the US population at large.
  5. He also went 11-5 with Matt Cassell. Brady's first three Super Bowl's had more to do with the defense than him. Belichick is an all time great coach but I do wonder if the modern game has passed him by.
  6. There was a mock last year where pretty much everyone was ticked off by our choices. I believe it was Ossai in the first and Shelvin in the second. Neither went in the first two rounds and both were drafted by the Bengals. They both sucked their rookie year.
  7. I was glad to see Bobby Johnson go and Aaron Kromer hired. I doubt Wyatt Teller would not have been traded to the Browns if Kromer took over in '19. If Ford flames out under Kromer then he is a wasted pick. Not so sure about that. By extending Diggs we could create cap space this year if we feel the need to sign a decent CB free agent. I have faith that Beane and Diggs will work something out.
  8. Whoops. Murphy I meant. I got my white DE's mixed up.
  9. Not really. In 2019 our starting four were (at least listed) - Hughes, Oliver, Star, Anderson. I'm not even sure if Shaq makes the team as we're making the assumption he plays at the level he did two years ago.
  10. I'd like to thank Nick Saban for making mediocre prospects with a limited ceiling first round picks.
  11. I’m hoping this takes a DK Metcalf trade off the table. I knew the Pats would make one big WR move. Glad this was it. They lost two good o-lineman and failed to re-sign Jackson. I think they’re worse than last year.
  12. I saw somebody make a joke online that went something like ….. “Apparently the only thing off limits in Will and Jada’s open relationship are jokes.” -Norm MacDonald’s ghost. The hit to Smith’s reputation can’t be understated. It would be like Tom Hanks slapping Steve Martin.
  13. I was actually hoping for Mafe to fall to this spot so thanks for that. I've seen Johnson mocked from the end of the first all the way to the third. I see some Aaron Schobel in him who was also the 46th pick.
  14. It felt like old times in the arena tonight. Better days ahead (I think). My favorite broadcasting moment of all time...
  15. With the 46th pick in the 2022 TSW Mock Draft, the Minnesota Vikings select Cameron Thomas, Edge, San Diego State The Vikings need to get younger on the defensive line with the uncertainty surrounding Danielle Hunter's future. Thomas was dominant in rushing the passer in the Mountain West Conference. The Washington Commanders @Hermesare on the clock...
  16. That's where the true bias of the article comes into play. They frame it that everyone polled in the Buffalo area are Bills fans. There's plenty of people that live in the area that couldn't care less about football.
  17. That was excellent as you rarely get a glimpse into the free agency process through the eyes of a premier player. Thanks for sharing.
  18. No. Brady played this perfectly and forced Arians out after it didn't work out with the Fins (Flores lawsuit) or 49ers (Shanahan invested too much in Lance). Never believed the retirement. He gave Bucs ownership an ultimatum. I'll come back if you fire Arians. Make him an executive and a pioneer for black coaches. Yada, yada, yada. Brady puts butts in the stands. Arians doesn't. Brady and Belichick worked because they were both psychos who's whole world was football. Arians just got in the way of him and Leftwich.
  19. If the poll was conducted only in Buffalo this would be an incorrect assumption. From the article..... In New York City, 57% of voters said they disapproved of the stadium subsidy deal, while only 19% approved, with the rest undecided. Meanwhile, 67% of voters in the Syracuse region oppose the deal, as do 61% in the Albany region and 54% in the Rochester region. Conversely, the Bills’ fan base registered strong support — with 58% of voters expressing support while 31% disapproved.
  20. If he has a RG3 type injury this year he gets nothing but backup money at best after this season. Is it really worth it?
