  1. Some reason for his slide. Not sure what it is.
  2. Yeah. Those would be common sense changes and I'm just suggesting more oversight into making the algorithms used public to ensure the rules are applied fairly. That does mean some regulation as the free market didn't prevent Twitter from suspending the NY Post account right before the election and the NY Post couldn't do a darn thing about it. I understand your concern with misinformation though and it would have to be a bipartisan effort to make amendments to section 230. Good luck with that. As an aside, I personally am not a big fan of twitter as far as politics go (love it for sports though) as it rewards tribalism and brings out the worst in people. I don't see many nuanced conversations between people who disagree with each other on there.
  3. That's where I hope Musk will make twitter's algorithm an open source so the rules are applied fairly to all users. Maybe an amendment to section 230 to apply the same standard to all major social media platforms is needed.
  4. I thought them drafting a RB in the first round was the most egregious plot line.
  5. Can't wait for the sequel where Callahan becomes a HOFer while Mack and Jennings are massive busts since it's the Browns. Why didn't they have the guy who directed Moneyball do this movie?
  6. He’s said in the past he’s not opposed to it and he saw the impact CMC had with the Panthers prior to coming here even though it was Gettleman who drafted him. Luckily, I doubt they have a first round grade on a RB this draft as there isn’t a Barkley, CMC, or even an Etienne out there skill wise.
  7. How dare you. He’s not a genius as Cody Ford and AJ Epenesa walking around OBD are constant reminders of that. Better than most though. Yes. If we do take a RB in the first he better be a freaking all pro within his first few seasons or Beane will be getting a strongly worded letter from yours truly.
  8. Good. I’m against RB in the first anyways.
  9. That’s where confirmation bias comes into play though so I still think people will just follow who they agree with or those with complete opposite views they can try and dunk on. I don’t really see twitter changing much except less people on the far right getting banned.
  10. Beane prioritized DE in the draft last year after Mahomes dropped back, completed a crossword puzzle, did his taxes, and then threw for over 300 yards in the AFC Championship game. A few months ago he watched Chiefs WR's have massive YAC in the divisional game. Not re-signing Levi Wallace tells me they want to get faster and more athletic at the CB position. I think we draft a corner and safety the first two rounds. Just not sure about the order.
  11. Packers will draft a QB in the first round again to piss off Aaron Rodgers enough to motivate him to win MVP again.
  12. @Big Blitz Do what you want with this information but just an fyi that this picture was disseminated of Kyle Hamilton this morning.
  13. There's some irony in that Musk relied on a 465 million dollar loan in a Democrat led House and Senate in 2009 to make Tesla what it is today. Something he wouldn't have received if Republicans were in control. Now he's being celebrated by Republicans for buying a company they believe unfairly censor them and his libertarian streak is making the crazy left like King freak out. I'm happy he bought it as his focus on promoting free speech is the right one whether it's his primary motive or not. My main concern is you have an authoritarian billionaire who buys these popular social media platforms and cracks down on any users who don't agree with their politics. I'm happy he bought it as he's an advocate of free speech. Imagine if an authoritarian anti free speech billionaire bought twitter instead of Musk. That's my long term concern.
  14. Cowboys guaranteed largest ratings. Broncos and Bills would be more appealing games.
  15. We have zero proven consistent pass rushers after Von Miller. Hughes was our best pass rusher last year. Bring him back please. Let Lawson, Basham, and Epenesa fight for that last spot. Not with that contract. I could also see how other teams see him as a distraction with his whole Covid thing last year. Plus, he's no spring chicken anymore.
  16. Just looking at Diggs YAC per reception each year of his career it seems like the system (and pry Josh Allen's playing style) does limit his YAC ability somewhat. Nobody is arguing that Samuel isn't a better YAC guy but the large YAC discrepancy should be taken with a grain of salt with the systems both are in. 2021 - 3.16 (Daboll) 2020 - 3.65 (Daboll) 2019 - 4.79 (Stefanski) 2018 - 4.39 DeFlippio/Stefanski) 2017- 4.75 (Shurmur) 2016 - 3.79 (Turner/Shurmur) 2015 - 5.61 (Norv Turner)
  17. With the 7th selection, the Giants select Ahmad "Sauce" Gardner, CB, Cincinnati. Giants are happy he fell this far. With Bradberry’s likely departure, the hope is high that “Sauce” Gardner can step in right away and be the team’s #1 CB. The Falcons @GunnerBillare on the clock.
  18. With the 5th selection the Giants select Ikem Edwonu, OT, North Carolina State The Giants get their preferred tackle to protect Daniel Jones and open up holes for Shaquon Barkley. This massive and athletic RT should help in both areas. The Panthers @Sheneneh Jenkins are on the clock.
