Poll: How do we feel about Stefon Diggs the player?
Doc Brown replied to Freddie's Dead's topic in The Stadium Wall
Mixed emotions but definitely will look back on his time here fondly. Positives - The most productive player over a four year stretch in Bills history that helped Josh Allen become an elite quarterback. One of my all time favorite players to watch. Artistry in his routes. Great personality. Funny (flossing on the sidelines, waving goodbye to defenders after he smoked them, facial expressions, etc.). Some iconic plays that will forever be etched in my memory. My favorite touchdown celebration of all time when he told the NE fans to eff off which was somewhat of a catharsis after them dominating us for so long. Helped turn a boring offense with an exciting quarterback into a high flying offense with an even better exciting quarterback. Negatives - Production tailed off when we needed it most the last two seasons. Playoff game disappointments. The whole end to the Bengals game including him running from the media after the game. I think he made a lot of Bills fans that defended his passive aggressive antics (social media and real life) as nothing feel like fools or suckers when he did force his way out. -
Remind me never to drive in Texas.

Who will be the head scratcher pick(s) in the first round?
Doc Brown replied to Sestak4ever's topic in The Stadium Wall
It seems to have gotten less and less over the years. I don't remember last year any first round surprise. Gibbs, McDonald, Campbell, and Harrison were pry the biggest "reaches" but none where shocks that they went in the first round The biggest surprise was Will Levis falling into the 2nd. -
He was caught on video slapping a female Tennessee fan when they stormed the field after their loss there. I guess attempted murder was stretching it.
-
Attempted murder of an opposing fan. He should be fine.

With the 55th pick, the Miami Dolphins select Ja'Tavion Sanders, TE, Texas. Miami takes another Texas player out of pure coincidence. Didn't love the value of any offensive line prospects at this point and Sanders fits well in McDaniel's system. He should give them that much needed receiving weapon at TE in the passing game to go along with the newly acquired Jonnu Smith. The Dallas Cowboys @JJGauna are on the clock.

New Buscaglia mock has Bills trading up to 7 for Malik Nabers
Doc Brown replied to Logic's topic in The Stadium Wall
Can he run the team? That would be fantastic. -
Based off his injuries it's more likely he cures cancer.

Why do this before the draft? I’m guessing interior offensive line isn’t a draft thought in the first four rounds anymore.

Does Beane have a trade with Schoen Lined Up???
Doc Brown replied to cbatl32's topic in The Stadium Wall
Anything's possible. If Beane is thinking of a major move like that they could already have the parameters of the deal in place. It pry won't happen until the draft though as the Giants might only move out if a player they want is off the board by the time they pick. The Bills might not make the move if the WR they covet is gone at 6. The Broncos and Bills had a deal ready to go in 2018 but Elway called off the deal because Bradley Chubb fell to them. -
Could they restructure Allen's, Oliver's, and Milano's contracts to make it work? The banana stand has a reputation to uphold.

How would you construct the 2024 Bills WR Room?
Doc Brown replied to Kirby Jackson's topic in The Stadium Wall
Falcons went to a Super Bowl thanks in large part to Julio Jones. Just make sure if we do make that move the WR doesn't believe the earth is flat. -
They had Kelce and a top five defense.
-
If the Bills are going to be a serious contender this year they need to trade for an Aiyuk, Higgins, or Jefferson. If not, then they need to make a massive trade up to get one of those top three WR prospects. That's the only way this team competes for a Super Bowl this year and it sucks if it doesn't happen.

With the 21st pick, the Miami Dolphins select Byron Murphy, DT, Texas. The offensive line definitely needs to be addressed for this abhorrent franchise but it's hard passing on Byron Murphy in this spot. He should provide some much needed interior pass rush pop that was lost when Wilkins signed with the Raiders. The Philadelphia Eagles @HappyDays are on the clock.
-
So it's not a pick that you hope the team will make that helps out the Bills the most? I guess the Dolphins won't be taking a first round punter this year.
-
All the Bills day three picks.

Brown, Bernard & Torrence Get Nice Pay Bonus
Doc Brown replied to BuffaloBillyG's topic in The Stadium Wall
They need to reduce the rookie contracts by a year with a 4th year option for first round picks. Extension talks can start after two seasons. It's too brutal of a sport to have to wait four years just to get your second contract if you vastly outperform it. -
Fish, Steelers, Jets

Ex-Lions DB Cam Sutton turns himself in on strangulation charge
Doc Brown replied to Saxum's topic in The Stadium Wall
They'll re-coup some of that dead cap so it's not a tremendous hit. Good on the Lions for releasing him as I'm also against strangling someone. -
Gunner's 2024 Mock Draft - FINAL v3.0 NOW LIVE (p.13)
Doc Brown replied to GunnerBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
That's a good point but I think if they do draft him they'll have projections of him lining up at both DT and DE (on possible run downs) depending to get him in the field at least more than 50% of the snaps. I'm not a fan of it but I think that's what they had in mind when they drafted Basham albeit he was primary a DE. I just don't see them passing him up if he falls that far. Too good of a player. -
The Bills should slowly revolutionize the kicking game.
Doc Brown replied to FireChans's topic in The Stadium Wall
It happened on Bass's field goal attempts 5.88% last season and 6.25% the season before. None his first two seasons. It's a problem for him for whatever reason.
