  1. You're making a lot of assumptions there and all the Cardinals had to worry about was the Hal Mary as a field goal wasn't an option at that point. If are blitzers are ineffective he could've stepped up and have a 65 yard throw or so without falling backwards. I remember Greg Williams getting roasted against the Jets for a cover zero blitz (sending seven) against the Raiders where Carr was somehow able to step up in the pocket and throw a strike to a WR single covered. Plus, if he did blitz seven and he threw a quick pass to the sidelines to get us in field goal range McDermott would absolutely be criticized.
  2. The Cardinals tried that in the playoffs against him. Didn't work out too well. Granted it was eight or so years ago.
  3. Mason Rudolph and I'd prefer Levis. I suddenly am getting a little nervous about this game.
  4. 24-13 Bills Rasul Douglas pick 6.
  5. I don't know much about the art of kicking but someone on the coaching staff should just tell Bass to kick straighter.
  6. If the Browns are selling why not go after Za'Darius Smith? 1.2M base salary. Can't have enough pass rushers even though I'm as big of a Casey Toohill fan as anybody.
  7. After listening to him speak I don't think we're going to have a 60 page thread analyzing what his latest enigmatic tweet means.
  8. I'll always wonder for as unreliable as Gabe was what could have been if he wasn't injured in last year's Chiefs playoff game. Before we all turned on him he had two standout playoff games against the Colts and Chiefs.
  9. The league was disappointed in the size of our Buffaloes at the new stadium I guess?
  10. They may. They could also cut Zion Logue if Ed Oliver is back next week (I think). Should be interesting.
  11. Good day for Steve Tasker. No longer has to pretend on the air day after day saying WR wasn't a problem.
  12. It's called "Diggs get open." - Josh Allen 2021
  13. We could get a 3rd round comp pick for Cooper. Unlikely but possible.
  14. Where's Oprah? You're being traded and you're being traded.
  15. More desperate or better finances?
  16. He doesn't know it yet but it's performances like his that continue to devalue the RB market. Also, what's up with James Cook's agent saying to Schefter that he's going to play?
  17. Allen got incredibly unlucky with interceptions last year. Regression to the mean was coming but I didn't expect it this fast.
  18. That was an incredible interception by Taron. One of the best I've ever seen.
  19. McD's getting better. He decided to shift his end of 2nd half game management skills to the end of the 1st half. Baby steps.
  20. There's not 100's of guys who can do what he does. He can stretch a defense vertically, has great sideline awareness, and is an elite ball tracker. We saw that in the Colts playoff game in 2021 and the Chiefs playoff game in 2022. If Gabe was in their instead of Hollins last week that first deep ball is a TD. He was also good at scramble drills and finding soft spots in zones. His inability to quickly separate against man in the short/intermediate areas of the field, his drops mostly due to technique (tries to clap catch it a lot), and his inability to win 50/50 balls is why the Bills were correct in not giving him the money the Jags gave him. I just wish Beane had more foresight into replacing him and Diggs through the draft. Now we're stuck with throw the kitchen sink for a WR on the trade market because our WR core is bottom 10 in the NFL.
