  1. I love the idea but I doubt the NFL ever goes for it. One reason is the NFL always strives for parity which is why you play the same division seed in the opposing conference for that extra game each year (Bills play first place in the NFC West Rams). Also, you'll have lobbying from teams. Every AFC team will claim that the Lions are an intriguing opponent (the Patriots could claim a Matt Patricia revenge game) while every NFC team will make the case that the Jags are a juicy match-up for them (the Bucs could claim a state rivalry). Then you'll have conspiracy theories with fan bases saying they get a harder game each year because the NFL wants them to fail. There's a reason every major sports league agree on set schedule years in advance.
  2. Just make President's day the Monday following the Super Bowl. Win win.
  3. It would take a minimum 15 win season and no coach turning their team around drastically. The latter is how Dick Jauron, Matt Nagy, Jason Garrett, and Kevin Stefanski won it.
  4. I wonder if the Rooney's or the city of Pittsburgh control naming rights?
  5. Trump has no real business running. He isn't winning the primary. Where have I heard this before?
  6. Packers have a really good run game and defense. So do the Vikings. Rodgers is the difference so I'll go with them. Should be interesting to see how he fares without Adams though.
  7. Was it him or McDermott that called that coverage though? Regardless, the defense couldn't cover a stationary wall with paint that game and Frazier doesn't deserve a head coaching job given that game along his failed head coaching record with the Vikings.
  8. You'd think financially it would make sense for them to want to make Trump the '24 nominee so they should be giving their full support to Desantis. Maybe they'll keep quiet until both decide to run.
  9. Anybody know how much the Browns are paying Mayfield to try and beat them in week one? Around 600k?
  10. Not sure about that as McKenzie said he was willing to play for candy. Still think Beane should've taken him up on that offer. Trade for Robert Quinn maybe. They would've had to restructure some deals to take on his cap hit though. Have you seen our grain elevators? Born and raised in Angola (suburb of Buffalo) but I've lived for small periods of time in Oswego, Syracuse, Omaha, Columbus, Northfolk, Miami, Reno, and back to Buffalo. I managed to maintain the same level of unhappiness in each place.
  11. It's close even if you just look at it on who's on the team now. The 2017 draft gave us quality starters at three positions with White, Dawkins, and Milano as key pieces despite moving back 17 spots in the first round. The 2018 draft gave us two quality starters (Allen and T. Johnson) and one TBD in Edmunds. Neal was a solid pick in the 6th round too. It's difficult to separate the two but getting the franchise QB gives 2018 the edge.
  12. Average athlete and above average arm strength (not elite) when healthy. The problem is he's below average under pressure and Carolina had major trouble protecting the passer last year. If that doesn't change it won't be pretty for him. McAdoo's scheme is pretty vanilla so it pry won't take that much time for Baker to learn it. It should be a fun camp battle.
  13. From a football perspective only, once the smoke clears the Browns will have a franchise top 7 or 8 qb for the next decade. Panthers are still in qb purgatory.
  14. Steal for the Panthers. Baker when healthy is better than Darnold. If it doesn’t work out they have a developing Corral in the wings.
  15. Do you really think the Titans roster is better than ours?
  16. I'm surprised you spelled Einstein right when creating your account.
  17. Not from my reading of the law as it specifically states it does not prevent “an action for death, physical injuries or property damage resulting directly from a defect in design or manufacture of the product.” Gun manufactures will do everything they can to avoid that. Before the law was put in place there was a gluttony of lawsuits that attempted to hold lawful gun companies liable for the criminals using their guns to commit crimes. Smaller gun companies went bankrupt because of all the legal fees associated with those lawsuits. The reason the gun industry got special protection was these lawsuits threatened the 2nd amendment. More lawsuits leads to higher legal fees which would lead to higher gun prices.
  18. He basically said that about YAC last year too. Working on ball placement on in breaking routes so the WR can get up field quicker and rack up more YAC. If you believe in PFF stats his turnover worthy play percentage was less in 2021 (3.3%) than 2020 (3.5%). DB's just didn't drop as many potential INT's last year.
  19. My understanding of the law is if the gun malfunctions in any way due to a defect in the design they can be held liable.
