  1. The only concern I don't agree with him on in his column is if that contract issues might impact team chemistry. Players are well aware it's a business. The rest of his concerns are legitimate. I wish he would've gotten a little more technical and mentioned lack of depth behind Diggs and Davis on the outside. Also, likely starting the season without Tre White forcing us to start two young guys against the Rams and Chiefs.
  2. For something to happen three years in a row is unlikely so that's why I consider it a bold prediction. I guess a bold prediction for the Bills would be they go undefeated at home this year.
  3. Six game suspension but has to wear this helmet the rest of his career as a Brown.
  4. He's deep into the training camp previews at each position for The Athletic. He's written 11 articles since the end of June. P.S. It's so sad that I know that.
  5. There's going to be a massive swing in emotions, unforeseen injuries/problems, and we're going to lose some games we should win. Despite all that, for the third year in a row it will come down to a playoff game against KC at Arrowhead.
  6. I really don't want Bobby Hart and Luke Tenuta blocking for him. The first half with the starting offense line during the last preseason game like last year against the Packers. We didn't lose to Pittsburgh because of rust. We lost to them because they had a great defensive game plan.
  7. Lamar Jackson's his own agent and got a 13 on the Wonderlic. He's a highly unusual case.
  8. I'd pry go with the economy, the economy, and pry the economy. Most parties get wiped out midterms after winning the presidential election anyways.
  9. Functional organizations don't operate that way.
  10. To me it's an interesting case study of if an introverted quarterback can lead a team to a title. A truly great QB elevates the players around him. I had the same question about Andrew Luck and it's still why I'm not sold on Justin Herbert. Eli Manning won two titles but still only put up 17 and 21 in those games as their defense was the difference.
  11. Murray played this beautifully. Pry the best you could without having to resort to 77 different massage therapists.
  12. William "The Fridge" Perry. Cool nickname. Iconic Super Bowl run on an iconic team. Never made a pro bowl. Only 27.5 sacks in 10 seasons. Joe Namath, Terry Bradshaw, and Troy Aikman if we're going QB's.
  13. Exactly. The mental gymnastics are entertaining though. The Dems can't even play chutes and ladders.
  14. The American people will determine when democrats sway too far to the left and when Republicans sway too far to the right. The two party system has worked since the founding of the republic and will continue to do so.
  15. Taron is too slow and to become a regular starter outside. They used the 3rd round pick to backup Milano and compete to fill the A.J. Klein role at least for now.
  16. No. The bill as written will codify something most people are in agreement with.
  17. https://thehill.com/homenews/house/3566470-house-passes-bill-protecting-marriage-equality-with-47-gop-members-voting-yes/ The House passed a bill on Tuesday to protect marriage equality, a direct response to an opinion from Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas last month that called for reversing multiple decisions that enshrined LGBTQ rights. The legislation, titled the Respect for Marriage Act, passed in a 267-157 vote, with 47 Republicans joining all Democrats in supporting the measure. Seven Republicans did not vote. Will be interesting to see if this gets pushed through the Senate with 22% of Republicans backing the bill in the House. If that percentage holds for the Senate they'll have enough votes to get to that 60 vote threshold. A recent gallup polled showed 71% of Americans support same sex marriage. Rising national support for legal same-sex marriage reflects steady increases among most subgroups of the population, even those who have traditionally been the most resistant to gay marriage. Adults aged 65 and older, for example, became mostly supportive in 2016 -- as did Protestants in 2017 and Republicans in 2021. Americans who report that they attend church weekly remain the primary demographic holdout against gay marriage, with 40% in favor and 58% opposed.
  18. I'm assuming White at the latest will be back after the bye to play the Packers. Baltimore WR's are below average as a group so I'm not too concerned about our secondary in that game. Same goes for the Titans. Stafford and Mahomes are definitely a problem though. That's why we pay our starting quarterback 43 million a year. Outscore them.
  19. It's nice to see the armed civilian who probably saved multiple lives would be the front page of every major news outlet and would be heralded as a hero. I'm kidding.
  20. McDermott started two rookies for most of the season in 2016 for the Panthers. He seems to have a lot of faith in Jackson so it wouldn't surprise me one bit to see Elam and Jackson as our two outside CB's entering week one. His ability to quickly develop young DB's makes me doubt we pursue Haden.
  21. She's good at keeping herself in the news. Not sure how it helps the district she represents though.
  22. Calvin Ridley on injured reserved bets $1500 on a sports betting app on a league that's in partnership with gambling companies. Gets suspended a year...... NFLPA - no problem. DeShaun Watson has 24 civil lawsuits charging sexual misconduct. NFLPA- If he gets suspended for a year we will sue you in federal court. You can't tell me that Goodell and JC Tretter aren't negotiating behind the scenes to make both sides come out of this with the least egg on their face as possible.
  23. I wouldn't be too sure of that as an improved running game against light boxes in 10 or 11 personnel can make a defenses go heavier which creates mismatches and opens things up downfield.
