  1. I agree for the most part but I refuse to let my own disappointment in the team in the mid-season lull with the reality of what occurred. I don't think we even beat the Bengals the next week without Tre White. That injury made our late season run moot as far as winning the Super Bowl goes.
  2. Mahomes is deadly against the blitz so it wasn't Frazier's stubbornness in only rushing four the whole game. It was countless examples over the years of Mahomes tearing apart teams that brought more than four rushers. The main difference between the first and second Chiefs game was we didn't have Tre White and our d-line didn't get as much pressure on Mahomes and/or couldn't finish. It's part of why we revamped our defensive line and signed Von Miller. It also may be why McBeane felt they needed to upgrade from Levi Wallace at the #2 CB role. Drafting Bernard shows me that they are well aware they need to improve against run heavy teams. You don't kick a d-coordinator to the curb when your defense was number one overall. However, I'll admit that after those 13 seconds though I felt at the time they should've left him in KC.
  3. That's really the only way I read it. Republicans will use pork spending as the rationale although they passed the exact same bill in June 84-14. The House changed just added a minor revision on awarding tax credits if VA healthcare providers move to high-need locations. There's no pork in the bill. All of it goes to veterans who suffered from toxic exposures during their service. Republicans misplayed this politically and some veterans may suffer because of it. Pathetic.
  4. Tre White? May have cost us a Super Bowl. Also, what’s wrong with you?
  5. Oh yeah. That should be the number as all players caught using steroids should have their stats removed from record.
  6. I told you a couple years ago that once the vaccines were developed and widely distributed the restrictions would gradually go away including mask mandates. You insisted it would be forever with your stupid Sandlot gif. This is becoming more like the flu as people are coming to the realization this is an endemic. Politicians are getting the memo.
  7. I told you. It's over. Move on like the rest of us.
  8. Judge is on pace to break Maris's record. Would be great for baseball.
  9. I guess these contracts are entered through a portal where top level media types are granted access to his contract. Rappaport went through the contract with the intent of seeing if there was a baseball clause in it only to find this hilarious "independent study" clause.
  10. Good signing for a young talent at the position. Reasonable contract considering the expected significant rise in the salary cap. Set your rookie QB up next year for success.
  11. The only reason he isn't on a 12 million dollar annual multi-year contract with some other team now is because he's injury prone. The Bills put two million dollars in modest production incentives in his contract in order to manipulate the cap taking advantage of his down year last season. I think it's too early to consider him a possible roster cut as he's easily the best slot guy we have when fully healthy. When the pads come on he needs to be out there though and start developing chemistry with Allen. The thought of not having a dependable Beasley replacement isn't ideal.
  12. Time will tell. If you get the Watson you get out of Houston he's a tier 1 franchise QB for the next decade barring injury. Like the Rams though they're going to have to hit on day two and day three draft picks to compete given Watson's salary and the draft capital given up to get him. Knowing the Browns they'll find a way to screw it up. Watson is definitely a tier above Jimmy G though and four years younger.
  13. Yeah. I'm guessing the Bucs didn't have to make much of a sales pitch. Plus, he was born and raised in the South. Played college and pro ball there. Pry wasn't going to Buffalo, New England, or Green Bay unless they overpaid.
  14. Not really a caption but a microcosm of my first marriage.
  15. I get that but he seems to go out of his way to give vague answers that will have no competitive impact whatsoever. Can't imagine what it's like to live with him. McD's wife: Honey, what do you want for dinner tonight? McD: A lean meat cooked in the over between 350 and 375 degrees for 30 to 45 minutes along with two low glycemic sides.
  16. You're definitely in the minority my friend. They'd be tolerable with white pants.
  17. I'm pretty sure Nick Foles caught with only his hands on the Philly Special. I love Josh Allen too but let's not overdue it.
  18. Glad it's the most curable form. Still scary as hell especially for someone that young. Hope to god I see him on the field next season.
  19. I would not have known that you prioritize QB's, CB1, DE1, WR's, and OT when it comes to re-signing players if it wasn't for Cowherd. Thanks for sharing.
