Unfortunately, we pry don't find out until Wednesday because McDermott didn't provide jack squat in his press conference today. I didn't like that he wouldn't confirm whether the injuries to Bernard, Williams, and Samuel were "day to day."
In hindsight at where that organization was with their commitment to the high pick investments in Daniel Jones and Saquon Barkley neither one of them should've taken the job in 2022. Gettleman was dumb enough to spend the 4th pick in the draft on a RB and then reach for a QB the next year in the first round.
If they fired Hackett instead of Saleh they pry win their last two games imo. It sends a message to the locker room that this isn't Aaron's team and the defense doesn't drop off the last two weeks when you have a d-coordinator trying to be a head coach at the same time. Thank you Woody Johnson.
It was in 2022 regular season game. Good call.
I was just thinking that is there any player in the NFL besides Watson that would've been booed (home or away) after a serious injury going off the field? I'm sure it was a catharsis moment among Browns fans and a big middle finger to the owner.
Ironically, our next home game the Bills's body clock will tell them it's 2:00 to start the game with daylight savings time ending the night before. So, um, maybe that will take care of the problem.
That might have been a better strategy but you saying the Bills weren't defending the sidelines for a possible field goal attempt is where you lost me.
You lost me when you said McDermott wasn't worried about the field goal. He obviously was and it's why they only rushed two. The personnel and execution was the major issue.
