  1. I run a 12 league team and they all pay me through venmo. I'm just going to plead ignorance.
  2. Antonio Brown before his transformation into his true calling as a rap artist was a 6th rounder. You obviously make a good but obvious point that odds are slim that day three picks amount to much. Diggs and Hill are the only two star WR's I can think of that went in the 5th round. I see Shakir as a third round talent though who somehow slipped but odds are we're lucky if he can fill the Gabe Davis role as WR#4.
  3. There's more than one way to skin a dolphin. We can shoot for long scoring drives utilizing mostly pass plays. We finished fifth in time of possession last year and 11th in 2020 doing just that. In 2018 and 2019 when we ran the ball more we finished 13th and 16th. The only real change I want is less designed Josh Allen runs. Give those carries to the running backs.
  4. I don't now about "much" but there's luckily only six of them out of the 222 congressional democrats.
  5. He's always been pragmatic despite being the most radical member of the left and realizes his demands would've sunk the bill.
  6. Would save us 1.5m in cap space with 2 million dead cap hit. Can't see us going with Barkley as a backup though. He's better at dancing to Renegade than throwing a football.
  7. Cover 1 doesn't make that mistake.
  8. I like the agent mention. LOL. I'd wait for the actual contract numbers.
  9. He always seemed to me to be a self promoter and embraced that half glass empty reputation since he got here at the beginning of the '90's dynasty. The "are you embarrassed" fiasco is the perfect example. It worked and ironically may have lit a fire under the entire team in ways that the coaching staff never could. I remember Bennett once commenting that he was a pain in the rear but he made him better.
  10. I'm guessing that's why on a value picks thread. Peters, Williams, and Freddie all were great signings.
  11. Yeah. The 4th. My mistake. There were 13 teams before us that passed on Rice too as the knock on him was he didn't go to a division 1 school and he had a slow 40 yard dash for a WR. I still consider Rice the greatest player in NFL history.
  12. It's got to be Andre in the third. He was the last drafted of the core four that we wouldn't have made four straight Super Bowls without. Bruce Smith at #1 was also excellent value . Howard Ballard in the 11th round was a sneaky good pick.
  13. Love the idea but Quaker Crossing is too far away from the stadium.
  14. They should've gave Wallace competition at CB2 last year either through free agency or the draft while White was healthy. They could've jumped Green Bay for Stokes or drafted Tyson Campbell. Instead we spend our first two picks on DE's after drafting one in the 2nd round the year before.
  15. Florio (a former lawyer for what it's worth) sees this as unlikely. The basic argument seems to go like this — because the NFL appealed Judge Sue L. Robinson’s six-game suspension of Watson, that punishment disappears. It will be replaced (as the argument continues) by whatever Peter Harvey, the Commissioner’s designee, decides to impose. Thus, when the time comes to take the NFL to court (and in turn to try to delay the commencement of the suspension), a preliminary injunction entered by the court would commence as of Week One, not Week Seven. There are several serious problems with this contention. First, the NFL did not challenge the six-game suspension. The NFL argued only that six games aren’t enough. The NFL’s appeal focuses on whether the suspension should extend beyond the first six weeks. Second, the NFLPA didn’t appeal the decision. That would have been the best and safest way to put Week One through Week Six in play for a court order that would allow Watson to play. The union apparently balanced P.R. concerns (it declared on Sunday night that it wouldn’t challenge Judge Robinson’s ruling) and legal strategies in deciding not to place the first six weeks in issue by filing its own appeal. And so the union will instead make the argument (weak as it may be) that an appeal by the league operates as a clearing of the decks regarding the unchallenged six-week ban. Third, nothing in the Personal Conduct Policy indicates that an appeal automatically wipes the prior punishment from the books. Indeed, the policy expressly states that the appeal “may overturn, reduce, modify or increase the discipline previously issued.” This means that the prior punishment survives the mechanical act of appealing the decision, with the question in this specific case being only whether the punishment will “increase” beyond six games.
  16. Neal is a lock with his special teams ability and reports he's having a strong camp. I think Lewis is cut and Benford makes the team. McCloud will pry be the most difficult decision and it may come down to whether they put T. White on the pup list.
  17. If this is true, why in the world would the Browns play this guy in the preseason with the chance of him having an ACL/MCL tear or even the tiny chance of a career ending injury?
  18. Genius and hilarious. I'm just mad I didn't think of it. Upgrade over Hart.
  19. No. They're terrified to marginalize gay men. That's it. The irony is by not addressing them directly makes it more likely for them more likely to catch the disease.
  20. He was a young teenager quoting a tv show but unfortunately that story will stick with him the rest of his life no matter what he does. Dominique Foxworthy (an ESPN analyst) reminded us of that in his December 2020 quote saying there's a part of him that gets happy when Josh does something dumb because of those tweets. I haven't heard Josh do or say anything controversial since we drafted him which is pretty amazing given his media exposure.
  21. Cleveland the city deserves a team they can be proud of. They need a new owner though.
  22. Because they're the Browns. A team so inept that it retained a head coach that went 1-31 the two previous seasons.
