  1. That's pry the biggest question. I wondered how he'd fit in LA's offense with Woods and Kupp last year and then Woods tears his ACL days after the trade. We never really got to see how he'd respond to being that 3rd or 4th option. I don't mean to be Dr. Doom but an injury to a WR more than likely will happen at some point this year. We lost Brown for some time in '20 and Beasley always seemed like he was playing through injury. If OBJ is willing to take a contract like he did with the Rams last year built in with incentives then I'd be all for it. As for Davis, he killed it in the Chiefs game but I go back to the season finale where he had a really bad game with Emmanuel Sanders out. Three receptions on 13 targets with three drops. That may not be the norm as he filled in nicely for Brown in 2020 for the few games he missed but I need to see him full time as a WR2 before declaring him our long term solution opposite Diggs.
  2. By the time OBJ is ready to play we'll know if Davis is a legitimate #2 WR. All signs point to yes but he still has to get out there and prove it. OBJ looked like his old self in the playoffs when it counted most. If Diggs or Davis miss some time he's a significant upgrade over our current backup WR's outside. He can also play the slot if there's an injury or a drop in play there. He'd be great insurance down the crucial stretch run is the best way of putting it.
  3. You're right but I'm very jaded when it comes to politicians. He's a former lawyer who has degrees from Yale and Harvard. He knows what he's doing.
  4. There was a time when I legitimately believed this guy would challenge Jerry Rice's all time records after six 1200 plus yard seasons by the age of 30. What a sad waste of talent.
  5. Toy Story 2 blew the doors off Lightyear imo. Spin-offs are rarely successful.
  6. Agreed. You can't ignore Disney+ increase in subscribers and then blame the first loss of Netflix subscribers in history on going woke. Ignoring the former and embracing the latter is what you call confirmation bias. Increased streaming competition and a raise in prices is why Netflix struggled this last quarter.
  7. There was backlash because they removed the Taiwanese flag from the patch of his leather jacket in the belief it was done to appease China in the initial trailer. They then caved after the outcry and put it back on.
  8. Is to tap into the right culture war in order to advance his political ambitions. Smart people on the right want a palatable alternative to Trump while continuing the "Trumpism" movement. That's in both his policies and his ability to fight back against whatever they see as a threat. I can confirm I just watched it on Disney plus because I needed something to occupy my niece. It was okay but not as good as any of the Toy Story movies.
  9. It would be more interesting if we could do this poll in the OTW forum instead of PPP. Not possible though. I personally am way better off as I had a lot of cash ready to go into an index fund once the market took that huge crash in March of 2020. I got lucky. I'm also more appreciative of some of the freedoms we have in this country that were briefly stripped away from us given this was a black swan event.
  10. A low base salary in the first year of a contract is pretty common. It's the unawareness of what the optics makes it look like is why the Browns are the Browns.
  11. I want 16 games, 20 million dollar fine, and mandate the only massages he gets are from Larry the Cable Guy.
  12. The DoJ should just make the warrant public with redactions. There's pry classified information on there and may be why Trump's team won't release it being in fear of violating the Espionage Act.
  13. I never understood the love that some have for this guy. He's always just been a jerk in my mind.
  14. Lamar may be ahead of them given the players voted him into the Pro Bowl. That's when these ballets were handed out.
  15. Bold prediction because of how and when the voting was conducted. Josh Allen won't make the top 40.
  16. They'll pry sign Duane Brown now. I do feel generally bad for the guy though and that's unusual for me.
  17. I'd love for them to bring back the Arena Football League. That was fun to watch.
  18. Yeah. PFF has a pass blocking grade of Quessenberry at 61.6 and Brown at 51.0. Both are pretty bad and ranked near the bottom. If Brown had a less mobile QB fans wouldn't be as high on him. It's a problem and maybe Kromer can help make at least one of them average pass blockers as they're both great run blockers.
  19. Interesting they list Beckham ahead of Davis.
  20. Quick thoughts: -Was hoping Shakir would be backup to Davis. May signal they see him as more of a slot guy. -Quessenberry over Brown is significant and Brown is going to have to earn the spot. -Dane Jackson ahead of Elam at CB#2 isn't surprising. Same goes for Haack over Araiza. Rookies have to earn it obviously. -McKenzie not in punt return but projected kick returner is interesting.
  21. No but it will likely fail based off all the reports I've seen. Also, Watson may not want the league to seek an injunction for financial reasons. He loses $57,500 per game this year. He'd lose about $2,550,000 per game next season. If the suspension is extended to 10 to 14 games this year he may just want to take his medicine and not sue. Not sure how he handles it if it's a year long suspension as the contract would then get pushed back a year.
  22. I thought that too because of the Brady and Elliott cases but the NFLPA appealed those suspensions right away. This time they didn't. The NFL mouthpiece (Ian Rapaport) even admitted as such. My guess to why they didn't appeal is Watson't camp objected as they're unlikely to win in federal court. Watson would rather give up a smaller amount of money this year (around 1m) even if he's out for the whole year than miss the 2023 season where he'd have to fork over 40 million plus should he lose the appeal.
