Three straight pass calls by their offensive coordinator in the snow with a QB who threw 30 picks a couple years ago. -

So the key to one and done in the playoffs is a premier DE and WR. Bold strategy by the Steelers. -

Reasons to root for Steelers: -Ravens will play the Texans as the #5 seed (probably) if they can't pass the Steelers in the AFC North. -If we get the #2 seed it would be awesome to play them at home in the Divisional round as the #3 seed. Texans or Ravens could take out the Chiefs. Reasons to root for the Browns: -Would rather have the #2 seed than the #3 seed (as long as the Bengals aren't the #7 seed). -I despise Steelers fans and their stupid towels. -Winston (and Flacco Last year) outplaying Watson is hilarious. -
I don't have an answer for you but I do remember being livid in the 2020 AFC Championship game with his conservatism on offense. There were three and four obvious go for it moments where he settled or field goals while playing the NFL's version of the Harlem Globetrotters on the other side. I really can't think of a situation after that in the playoffs where he wasn't aggressive on 4th and short in the playoffs so he obviously did some self scouting. Heck, he even tried a fake punt in his own territory in the 4th quarter last year which was kind of funny because it failed so miserably but at least he tried it. Pry should've kept it in Allen's hands though. LOL. I think going for it on 4th and 3 against the Chiefs showed that transformation even though it was only a regular season game. You do everything you can to prevent Mahomes from having the ball last with a chance to beat you with a field goal or touchdown.

Week 5 - Bills at Texans Game Week Thread

You bumped a game thread from a month and a half ago to dunk on someone who had a mildly bad take? I don't even remember what I had for dinner yesterday. -

It'll be interesting on Thanksgiving moving forward if they ever say screw it the Lions and Cowboys aren't guaranteed to play home games on that day and can get flexed out. Nobody wants to watch Tommy Devito vs. Cooper Rush while eating turkey. Not even their families. -
LOL. He's already had 11 different MVP's this season.
 -
Me too but he'll have to earn it as he has some tough defenses down the stretch.
 -
My guess is the Lamar Jackson argument will be he has better numbers. Kind of the reverse of last year's debate which is kind of funny.
 -
I wonder what's going through Rodgers mind at the time shaking Woody's hand. LOL. Douglas and Saleh were so happy.
 -
On please Jets fire the interim head coach and bring in Rex/Rob Ryan so we can continue to enjoy this beautiful disaster.

Head Coaching Vacancies - 2024/2025 Edition
Doc Brown replied to Coach Tuesday's topic in The Stadium Wall
It would be dumb for the Colts to move off Steichen but it's Irsay so who knows. On the flip side, the Raiders would be dumb to stick with Anotonio Pierce who was never qualified for the position. It's an interesting situation because Burrow is thriving in Taylor's offense. This is the team where I put my antennae up for a possible Joe Brady hire going back to his ties to LSU. -

Xavier Worthy: So far, not much more than a gadget guy

Also points to the advantage of playing good teams that can exploit your biggest weaknesses early in the season. Beane was fortunate that someone of Cooper's ability was available for around 800k. It's not enough to excuse his neglect at that position the previous two off-seasons imo. It should be a dark spot on his resume.
