Was that Zach Moss run actually impressive?
Doc Brown replied to transplantbillsfan's topic in The Stadium Wall
He was following Morris and was looking for the hole to open up to the right. Morris got rocked by the rushing LB and blew up the play. Moss made a nice cut back and showed some speed that was lacking last year. It was an impressive run given what he had to deal with. -
You're banking on him punting it 70 plus yards every time as justification for not needing good/great gunners?

Tom Brady Away From Bucs to "Deal With Some Personal Things"

Players are immune from any punishment regarding tampering via the NFL's anti tampering policy. -
Thoughts about starters during the rest of preseason
Doc Brown replied to JÂy RÛßeÒ's topic in The Stadium Wall
Same as last year. Play the one’s the first quarter to half of the last preseason game to help knock the rust off and get in rhythm for the Rams game. You risk injury just getting out of bed in the morning. It’s part of life. -
Shakir at this point is my best guess. He’s a shrimp but performed well against the Colts first string defense even if they were in a vanilla scheme. I expect him to play the exact role Davis did last year. I just wish we had better options.

I think it’s an overreaction because Barkley’s so limited when it comes to arm strength and mobility. Keenum at least has average arm strength and a LOT more experience and success as a starter in this league. Also keep in mind that Keenum was playing most of their starters with our backups.

I don't like to overreact to one game especially when we have a large sample size of both of their NFL careers as starters at this point.

Stefon’s blue cheese kinda sucks. Stick to WR.

Seems to be a Rooties bleu cheese shortage. I can't find it anywhere. -
I'd like to see Keenum behind the 1st team offensive line for a quarter or so. Maybe sit Dawkins and see what Quessenberry can do at left tackle. Other than that, play the same players as the first game. I don't want Allen, Diggs, Miller, etc... playing until September 8th.

Other's do pliable workouts, eat avocado ice cream, and thrive at the highest level at the age of 45. I wonder if Allen should embrace the TB12 method.

Does LB Baylon Spector make the Bills final 53?
Doc Brown replied to HOUSE's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yeah. You make a good point with Matakevich as it's significant savings if he's cut. For the cap gurus out there, can Beane rework his contract if he's willing to take a pay cut? If not then I wouldn't have a problem with the Bills cutting him as long as we keep Kumerow, Jones, and Neal. -

You want to field the best 53 that help you win this year. That means continuing to have a strong Special Teams unit (and trusting them with a squib kick). Kumerow, Matekavich, Jones, and Neal are four core special teams players who usually fill in adequately in emergency situations at their respective positions (rash of injuries in a game). You should be able to stash guys like Blackshear, Hodges, Spector, and Lewis on the practice squad. They don't have to make that decision now as he won't count against the 53 man roster being on the reserved/suspended list. -

I think every team feels like this post cuts. I thought for sure Cam Lewis would be snagged by someone last year. -
Guys. Just use common sense. Why in the world would a person risk being behind bars the rest of his life for not returning classified documents? Was a full out raid really necessary? This whole thing just seems like an overzealous DOJ and FBI that will only continue to fuel populism as people become more and more skeptical of our government institutions.

How did he last until the 5th round? He looks as smooth back then as he does now.

Myles Garrett got a 1.035 million dollar base salary his first year his extension kicked in on his 125 million dollar deal. The exact same Watson got. Stafford's base salary this year is 1.5 million on his 4 year 160 million dollar deal. Prescott got 2.5 million on the first year of his contract on basically the same deal. Murray will have only a 2 million dollar base salary the first year his extension kicks in. You get my point. GM's do this he reason they do this to build salary cap space to allow them flexibility in the future. Regardless, I hope the Browns aren't dumb enough to realize how that would look optically but I wouldn't put it past them. Maybe they thought they could use the argument I just presented to justify them safeguarding him financially against a suspension hoping the public would buy it. Either way they're idiots.
