They'd primarily use him as a return only guy and my guess is they trusted Crowder more fielding punts in Prime Time on opening night in LA than a rookie. Look what happened to Cook despite fumbles not being a problem in college. I also think they like Kumerow as a WR more than most of us do. Especially as a blocker. To quote the insufferable Aaron Rodgers, “I love his reliability. I think he’s a fantastic, steady player who’s very heady on the field. He makes plays, he plays with a lot of confidence and he’s a guy you love having on the squad." My guess is McDermott and staff see him the same way. Crowder can also line up on the outside if need be but I still think Shakir is your best third option so I was a little surprised he wasn't activated last night. Maybe he will be next week or maybe we're all idiots who think more of him than the current coaching staff.

They’ll be able to read the tea leaves way before Iowa on whether Trump will win or not. -
That Bernard pick in the third is still interesting to me and it may be what they see out of him that determines Edmunds's fate. It wouldn't shock me if they locked up Edmunds long term with a cap friendly first year on his contract. That way they can keep Milano for one more season and cut bait saving about eight million in 2024 with Bernard taking his place. Honestly, it's difficult to get a read on what this front office thinks of Edmunds.

Doesn't matter. If anybody but Trump wins the Republican primary then Biden won't run for reelection. -

Bills team and individual records that could fall this year......

I'd be surprised if this isn't tied or broken with Diggs having 10 and Knox 9 last year. Gabe Davis could easily break it in an expanded role. Heck, he had 5 in two playoff games last year. -
Great comparison as the MLB has a hard cap like the NFL. Anyways, I'm hoping he's more of a CC Sebathia than a Carl Pavano if you want to make a Yankees metaphor.

Just to keep things in perspective..... The Pats are the only team to play in the kickoff game and go to the Super Bowl in the same season. They did it twice so we have a 1 in 20 chance of making the Super Bowl this year regardless of outcome. It's science. -

CFB Playoff Expansion to 12 teams approved

So it's possible a highly touted NFL prospect may have to make the decision of playing three more games than they do now. Thus, risking injury before the draft that could set you up for life financially. The peer pressure to play from the fans, coaches, and teammates to play in the playoffs will be overwhelming. College football has gone too far as the four team playoff format was fine. -

Depends on Doyle's status. -
My first thought was how does this stat apply to us since Allen's rookie year. It's 81% passing winning percentage when passing for over 300 and about 43% having one player rush for over 100 yards. You're correct in that Allen doesn't put up garbage time stats. We're 13-3 (including playoff games) when Allen throws for 300 plus yards (81% winning percentage). The Titans loss last year where he slipped short on the qb sneak. The AFC Chiefs divisional game where coaching malpractice occurred with 13 seconds left. Then the Bucs game where we had to donate to the blind afterwards. As far as our record since 2018 when we have someone rush for over a 100 yards we are 3-4. Three of those losses coming with Allen rushing for more than 100 yards (Jets and Fins in 2018, Bucs in 2021). One with Gore in 2019 against the Pats. All this really tells me is we rely too much on Allen and should really focus on giving Singletary the bulk of the carries as we're 2-0 when he rushes for over 100 yards.

I'm with you except for the Cowboy's Monday Night since we didn't have a chance in hell of making the Super Bowl that year. I think the scar comparison is the best. It fades over time but it will always stick with you no matter what happens.

He's the main one technique taking Star's role. They usually list that player as the starter. Plus, what exactly has Settle done so far in his career to earn the starting role on a rotating defensive line? -

Based on Morris and Doyle not practicing today and the Rams personnel my guess would be Morris, Doyle, Spector, Basham, and Cook. I just have a feeling they won't trust Cook in pass protection against the heavily blitzing Rams with Donald drawing double teams leaving free blitzers. Lawson over Basham because he's better against the run and not breaking containment with all of the Rams window dressing. -

We carried four in the first Fins and Jets game last year. Taiwan Jones will be active every week as a gunner so it's better to think of if they'll dress three (Singletary, Moss, Cook) or two of the three. It'll be one of the most interesting story lines throughout the year if all stay healthy.
