  1. It definitely should've been four pass play calls at maximum to the end zone. The only way you can justify it is Allen is usually money with those QB sneaks so Brady/Allen/McDermott thought there was no way in hell they weren't sneaking it in for a TD there. Rams defense made a great play. It would've been much better if it was first and goal from the 4 instead of from the 1.
  2. I wasn't surprised Brady abandoned the run as quickly as he did. Brady does an excellent job of "reading the room" when calling plays. He knew what kind of game this was. You don't handcuff your all world talented QB who is on a heater. Especially when your defense can't cover a stationary wall with paint. I'm sure there's many owners licking their chops hoping to hire him as head coach this off-season.
  3. I'm not an expert but I think someone should tell the Bills defense to play better in this one.
  4. The only way that happens after this year is if Josh threatens to request a trade.
  5. I'm just saying let's not have that mistake distract us from the egregious use of a timeout that took away any reasonable shot we had at the game.
  6. Funny but the odds of a blocked punt or punt return for a TD were slim there. It was practically over when they called the time out on the failed QB sneak on 1st and goal.
  7. I think there were a few plays in the second half too where he could've ran the ball for an easy first down but chose to launch it down the field. He knows he can always slide too so I think he was just big play hunting. All I can say is losing sucks.
  8. Quentin Morris out too? Might be a more pass heavy game plan.
  9. I'm guessing you mean 3.1m on the money line at -700. It's a 442k payout. Scared money doesn't make money but he's definitely sweating it now. LOL.
  10. Just give me both and we should be fine.
  11. You know. You didn't have to hit submit replay after typing this. Now you're stuck defending it. Lol. Can't wait to lose to both.
  12. Talk about terrible 1pm games. Never understood why they just don't do four teams on byes each week from week 5 to week 13
  13. Would nice to see Josh with all his weapons healthy but being cautious is the right move. Can get frustrating though.
  14. WTF man. No wonder Trump lost NY. I'm pretty sure it's just the front row as the NFL does its best to eliminate political messages because they don't want to lose half their audience if the camera were to catch it on TV.
  15. I feel like this comes up every year but if we lose Allen to a season ending injury. We're done. If he's out for four weeks we need a capable backup that can get us to at least 2-2. I think Trubisky would for example be capable enough to get us to at least 3-2 here down the stretch if Josh wakes up tomorrow and needs his appendix removed or something.
  16. The Jets. Definitely. I think Miami is a WC team right now though if Tua doesn't get injured. We'll see what they're made of down the stretch.
  17. Nailed about everything except for this. LOL.
  18. Lewis Cine is interesting. Special teams help?
  19. He should've thrown it to Diggs. At worst that's a 3rd and short. Run down the clock and either score a TD or FG with under 30 seconds to go. Our defense wasn't stopping Mahomes even if Allen hits that low percentage pass to Shakir 25 yards down the middle of the field. The entire game script was abandoned for some reason after that two minute warning.
  20. I'm starting to question my prediction of the Sabres entering the playoffs as the #1 seed this year.
  21. LOL. Great judgment their Terry. He hired Ryan and six failed Sabres head coaches. I'll give him credit for hiring McDermott and Beane (not sure how much Kim was involved) but that just makes it more likely he'll be extremely hesitant to ever make a change.
  22. I remember at the time that the rumor was Shanahan wouldn't even interview with Pegula given how unstable this franchise appeared with Doug Whaley running the show. Maybe I have it backwards.
  23. Thanks for this. Such a great story that it's a shame it's buried on network news.
  24. LaFleur had four years with Aaron Rodgers playing at an MVP level and didn't make a Super Bowl in a weaker conference. Shanahan made the Super Bowl twice with lesser QB's. I don't know how you can argue LaFleur is a better head coach.
  25. Completely agree unless McDermott would voluntarily leave for some reason like Marrone did. I think with Pegula you have to factor in his hockey decisions to evaluate him as an owner. He's gone back to the well in hockey twice with Ted Nolan and Lindy Ruff. First one didn't work and second one's not looking great either. Then you have in between Bylsma, Housley, Krueger, and Granato. All first time NHL head coaching hires that didn't last more than three seasons. Then of course you have the Rex Ryan hire. So, he's basically 1 for 6 and probably 1 for 7 in just hiring a coach that finished a season above .500. I don't even want to go into his GM choices. Based off that, one could make the argument it's dumb luck that he stumbled into McDermott and Beane. Why in the world would he even attempt to rock the boat with the only successful head coach and GM he's hired between two franchises since owning both teams more for a decade or so? It's why threads like this have always been meaningless imo.
