  1. It's so weird watching the Jets and just not laughing the whole time.
  2. AFC and NFC South are awful. They should just succeed from the union again.
  3. I'm not advocating for it and was just answering your question. My hope is Epenesa or Basham can take a giant step quickly because that would be a scary rotation at a reasonable cost.
  4. Bills rotate so much you could theoretically pair a twosome of Miller/Groot/Burns on every snap giving each at least 66% of the snaps. Helps keep each fresh. My math might be off on that.
  5. They're asking for multiple firsts though. I just think of the Seahawks giving up two picks for Jamaal Adams before giving him a record breaking contract. Same thing with Mack with the Bears in 2018. If their asking price comes down to just a first I still wouldn't do it because we invested so much at that position already.
  6. Then you'd be on the hook for the 5th year option next year if you can't re-sign him. We've invested too many picks at the DE position (Rousseau, Basham, Epenesa) to sign another high price veteran opposite Von Miller. I'm fine with Rousseau right now. Let's just concentrate on re-signing our own and trust that at least one of those three will develop into a premier pass rusher. There's also no guarantee he'd want to re-sign here so giving up a first for him is lunacy.
  7. Had trouble thinking of one. Then I slipped, banged my head on the sink, and it came to me.
  8. There's some irony in that they used those picks to trade for a white running back.
  9. Dolphins have their first round pick so hopefully the 49ers make a deep playoff run now.
  10. The NFC is wide open and the 49ers have one of the best rosters when healthy. Plus, it's a very weak division.
  11. Knowing the 49ers luck he'll tear his ACL walking out of the trainers room after he passes his physical.
  12. Would be interested to see who you'd want to play and why. I'm the vindictive type. I don't mind the Eagles, Giants, Vikings, 49ers, or Packers (besides Rodgers) so I would get little satisfaction in beating them. You could find a lot of cool story lines with some shared history with those teams but I'm out for blood. It would come down to Tompa Bay and the Cowboys for me. The two Super Bowl losses in the 90's and crushing an old man's sole would be more satisfying than beating a decrepit Brady (who already has seven Super Bowl's anyways). I'd prefer an absolute shellacking (52-17) with Allen throwing 5 TD's and winning the league and Super Bowl MVP. I want close ups of Jerry Jones crying in the box with a teary eyed Michael Irvin trying to console him.
  13. It was pry a close call. However, Allen had a higher passer rating, yards per attempt was 8.2 to 6.7, beat the Chiefs in Arrowhead for the first time in the regular season since the Bills beat him last year, led a 96 yard drive with over a minute left before the half, led the game winning drive, and hurdled a guy. Ryan played great but it was in a cozy dome versus an average opponent.
  14. Not with that attitude. Manning and Brady were able to put up over 5,000 yards in Denver and Nazi England. Maybe we'll get lucky and get the five best days weather wise post October on game days.
  15. OBJ. An injury to Diggs and/or Davis is more of a back breaker than an injury to Singletary.
  16. We're 10 games away from that scenario. Let's pump the brakes a little bit.
  17. The Vikings got lucky as the Dolphins are the superior team. The Vikings are the biggest frauds in the NFL. Miami should've won the game but made stupid mistakes all game (kind of like we did). It will all even out in the end though.
  18. Yeah. Watching Mahomes and Allen yesterday in ideal weather conditions yesterday was great and it would be even better in a dome. I want to see the best in the purest conditions. When I watched Hollyfield and Tyson in the 90's I didn't want them boxing on surfboards in the ocean.
  19. I thought that at first watching it live but then I saw the replay. Ref may have seen the same thing in real time. That's where a sky judge would come in handy for the clear and obvious missed calls like that.
  20. Yup. He caught a similar pass that was behind him on 4th and goal against the Pats last year. I'm not ready to throw the towel in yet on him but it would behoove the Bills to give Shakir more playing time in that slot role to see if he can handle it. Even Shakir had an awful drop against the Steelers that we would've lost our minds over if the game was close.
  21. Edmunds had his helmet on after that missed pitch. Jinxed us.
