I'm really starting to love this WR room. We quietly got better

Beane got really lucky Cooper was available for that salary because he knows he screwed up after watching the Texans game. I thought it was malpractice up to that point of not having an outside WR who can create separation at this point in Allen's career where every year should be a Super Bowl contender. -
This is golden if true. I wonder if even Rodgers is happy he "decided to do his own research." I haven't played Manning since I think Eddie George was on the cover but can you create your own player? I'd hand my resume to Johnson as a kicker with 99 kicking power and 99 accuracy.
-
He's now 38 for 39 in his career from 20 to 30 yards so I wouldn't sweat it out that much with short kicks. I would've moved off Bass after the KC finale game last year and brought in a more reliable kicker when they were available (even though it would mean eating the dead cap on his contract). They're best bad option though now is sticking with Bass even though he even looks like Norwood.
-
I agree with everything you said but I don't know if you can find a better replacement at this point. The only positive about Bass is he's familiar with how the wind blows in the stadium.
-
Maybe have the Ravens win 6-3 with Lamar throwing five interceptions. Yeah. I'd rather face KC than the Bengals. You saw what our defense looked like the last time a team had two #1 WR's. Got smoked in LA.

Not happening. LOL. Punt on 4th and 5 from the 50 down 3. Uggghhh.
-
Maybe KC will rest their starters week 18 to keep the Bengals out. LOL.
-
No they're not because all it would take would be the Broncos to lose to the Bengals and the Chiefs to open the door for all those teams if they win out.
-
Anyone but the Bengals for me.
-
I want to see Bengals fans cry. Comeon Broncos.
-
On a punt if you call a fair catch you can do a "fair catch kick."
-
Would you rather watch Chargers/Broncos tonight or Browns/Bengals? It may be insulting/inconvenient for Broncos and Bengals fans but it's better TV for the 15 million people who will watch the game. The NFL's aggressiveness in many different areas in the last 20 or so years is why the sport is a ratings goldmine.

Are the Patriots still the NFL team you dislike the most?

For me it's Chiefs, Bengals, and Jets in that order. The Jets just because I despise Rodgers. -

Lions play so much man coverage and were so depleted at LB that it made sense to throw to our RB's and TE's. It's why he saw zero targets this week but 14 against the Rams. Against a decent defense a weapon like Cooper is absolutely essential. If you want to double or bracket him fine. We'll throw to somebody else where we have an advantageous matchup. If you don't then we'll just feed the ball to Cooper. -
Week 16 - Patriots at Bills Game Week Thread (Game at 4:25pm ET)

I noticed game threads after a win are much more pleasant for some reason. -

Penix officially replaces Kirk Cousins in ATL
Doc Brown replied to FireChans's topic in The Stadium Wall
Nah. You sign a bridge QB for cheap if you're going to spend a 1st round pick on a rookie QB. Like the Vikings did with Darnold for one year for $8.75m. My guess is Atlanta fell in love with Penix after signing Cousins. -
It was lost when Allen didn't check it down to Diggs and I'll die on that hill. LOL.

I don't really trust any kicker but I don't think he's missed a game winning kick. I could be wrong though. I remember him making it @Baltimore and home twice against the Fish. The last from 62 yards. That KC game in the playoffs where we had a chance to tie was obviously the biggest miss of his career.
