  1. We did? Most teams down 17 in the second half pass the ball and it seemed the Packers seemed content on not getting embarrassed. It was really strange. I don't disagree on any of your other points but the Packers lack of urgency in the 2nd half was baffling to me.
  2. I've made so much money over the years betting the Pats to cover the spread after losing as favorites the following week.
  3. Yeah. Jets lost Bryce Hall and Tucker so they won't be as potent in the run game. Zach Wilson has one touchdown pass in his four starts with a 73.6 passer rating and 175 yards passing per game. Patriots won by 23 and 29 before losing to the Bears. The only impressive victory the Jets had was at Green Bay. Broncos and Steelers are a mess. Dolphins played their 3rd string QB against them. If Nick Chubb just falls down the Jets don't get that miraculous comeback. Only two quality opponents (Bengals, Ravens) dominated them on their home field. It's pry going to be like 20-10 Pats or something in that area.
  4. I guess it's easy money then betting on the Jets.
  5. Bill Belichick is 34-15 against the spread following a loss as a favorite. That's way too much of a sample size to bet against.
  6. What's appealing with Jeudy is it would be a push for this year and next year. You could also exercise his 5th year option if he does pop in this offense. His ability to separate and run after the catch is ideal. I like Shakir and McKenzie but they can't do this.
  7. Inconsistent quarterback play and poorly run offensive schemes has hurt his development. I worry about his drop problems but he didn't have them in college. I think it would be a medium risk high reward type move (if that makes sense).
  8. Jerry Jeudy would be my first pick who's being wasted in Denver. Rookie contract through next season and Shakir could play that 4th WR role that Davis did for two seasons. Can play both inside and outside. Amazing route runner that's a burner. I'd give up a 2nd and a 6th for him or something like that.
  9. Most people on this board are fanatics and tend to think like coaches. They see all the possible things that could go wrong even though we're heavy favorites. The casual Bills who can name maybe half of the starters (let alone the 53 man roster) are just expecting a blowout this Sunday. Ignorance is bliss is a better way of putting it.
  10. At this point they'll just keep wearing them until they lose. It's my second least favorite uniform combo behind the all reds. At least they look a little better at night.
  11. Scoring is down. My guess is defenses are starting to catch up to the innovative college spread offense concepts brought to the NFL. Also, offensive coaches are more sought after during the off-season so there's more transition on that side of the ball. There's pry plenty of more reasons (more cover 2 shell looks, increase in WR turnover across the league, less preseason reps for the o-line, etc.). Offenses will eventually counter and the quality of play will get better.
  12. I really missed him in the Miami game where they converted that 3rd and 22. That doesn't happen with Hyde on the field.
  13. Wow. Missed the game and just checked the score. Thought the NFL app accidentally put the wrong final scores next to the teams. Pats are now last in the AFC East. You hate to see it.
  14. Pry closer to three but we would be favored in every game. I'm excited to see the first Joe Burrow vs. Josh Allen matchup.
  15. I doubt it. Rams and Bucs will still draw huge interest despite disappointing seasons thus far. They'll want it as a stand alone game.
  16. Can we petition to ban Collinsworth from Orchard Park next weekend?
  17. That's the problem with taking a chance on a running back in the first round. Even if they're as good as advertised they usually are more injury prone relative to other positions and have a shorter shelf life.
