I'd be all for it as a lack of a true game wrecker at Defensive End has been the common missing ingredient imo to getting to the Super Bowl the last four seasons. Crosby is absolutely that. It's because of how rare two qb's getting injured in the same game is. I'm guessing it's a once out of three years type occurrence (don't quote me on that). They only made the "emergency QB" option is because the freak occurrence occurred with the 49ers in the NFC Championship game against the Eagles. Even when they added the rule only 13 NFL teams rostered three QB's which tells you that teams aren't that concerned about losing their top 2 QB's in the same game.
