  1. We host both sides of our family. One on Christmas Eve (cancelled) and one on Christmas Day (iffy at this point). We may have 40 pounds of ham to freeze.
  2. Unless they play an AFC opponent. FOX does the AFC home games when they play an NFC team. It's been that way since we signed Doug Flutie in '98. They did however put the cross flex in a few years ago for a few games so it's not always the case.
  3. I have 40 pounds of ham if anyone is interested. Thanks Brady. Did they get that seawall up by Hoak's on route 5 yet?
  4. Rock bottom for Zach Wilson right now. They're going to have to sign a veteran and invest in another young QB next year.
  5. So the Colts traded a 3rd round pick for Ryan and took on his full salary. Now he'll count for 18 million in dead cap next year. Such a strange franchise.
  6. Allen and Poyer were snubbed last year so glad to see they got in. Happy for Morse. As for the selection process....the same people who select the All Pro teams should also decide the Pro Bowlers. Fans are idiots (see Tua). Savvy players will try to bump up their peers fifth year option (see Edmunds and Lamar last year). Coaches have enough to do during the season and pry just chooses the most recognizable names to get it over with which could be why R. Smith and Mosley got in ahead of Milano.
  7. Our weather is such an outlier. I'd love to just have Green Bay's weather. Hopefully the new stadium will at least somewhat reduce the wind. https://weather.com/news/news/2019-09-12-nfl-worst-weather-cities Football Weather Misery Index List 1. Buffalo (77.4) 2. Green Bay (65.6) 3. Cleveland (65.2) 4. Pittsburgh (57.3) 5. Chicago (57.0) 6. Miami (56.0) 7. New England (51.6) 8. Kansas City (50.2) 9. Seattle (49.1) 10. Cincinnati (48)
  8. If you want Knox to reach his potential you need to upgrade the o-line. He's been overused as a blocker and it has him on a receiving production trajectory that looks more like Charles Clay's glory days here than a TJ Hockenson (who I think he most resembles). We need him to get close to Hockenson's production to justify that contract. He's perfectly capable as he's just as athletic. Just needs to see more targets.
  9. Absolutely the right decision. I did not want to sweat out a minute of Hill and Waddle possibly getting behind our secondary and tying/winning (2 point conversion) the game. I'll take a chip shop field goal for the win with Bass any day in nearly all weather conditions.
  10. They don't get the wind like we do despite the nickname. Also, I don't think they've had to move their home game twice in the last eight years to another location because of snow.
  11. We've never been a good tackling team under McDermott. We do a lot else well though.
  12. Me last week - I'm glad we won but our offense is going to prevent us from making a run. Me this week - I'm glad we won but our defense is going to prevent us from making a run.
  13. CAN'T I JUST WATCH AN INCONSEQUENTIAL GAME IN PEACE?
  14. That's on the WR but it's still funny because it's Cousins.
  15. This game has swung. Like a tidal wave here in Minnesota.
  16. Blowing a huge 2nd half lead? Doesn't ring a bell with him.
  17. Moss has a total of 31 yards in four games with the Vikings before today. Lol.
  18. He's a very good quarterback when everything is on schedule. If he has to improvise he's done.
  19. Kirk Cousins is still the Vikings quarterback. Speaking of which....
  20. Ten different teams can't believe they lost to the Vikings. He's been calling them paper tigers all year.
