Great. Explain the trade for Cooper then.
-
Yet they felt the need to give up a 3rd round pick for a rental player hoping to give Allen a #1 outside WR. The "everybody eats" mantra started because Beane is a hell of a salesman.

We'll never really know why. The Super Bowl odds still have the Bills at +750 though despite the firing.

Go back and find the people begging to trade up for Brian Thomas Jr. once he fell past 16. I kept waiting for a trade to pop up on ESPN's bottom line. Oh well, I guess if Coleman works out it will be a pleasant surprise.

Stafford and Palmer come to mind if we're talking a little more than half way through their career. Stafford was sick of the Lions always rebuilding and Palmer is experiencing exactly what Burrow is fighting right now. It's one of the reasons I'm more hesitant than most on here to fire Beane or McDermott. You could have a GM or head coach that takes the culture they created for granted. It seems like both are in constant dialogue with Allen and why I thought the Bills absolutely had to do the Diggs trade even if it meant eating the cap they had to eat this year without a plan B.

Henry, Jacobs, Barkley, and Taylor are a tier above Cook. Teams aren't going to sell out to try and stop Cook like they do for those backs. Mixon is pry a better comp as he has similar numbers are similar. He's at $8.5m a year. If Beane was to do an extension the maximum I'm hoping he'll spend is $10.5m per year for four years (including next year).

I hate everything about that process.

Slick Rick about to be Bills most valuable non player person.

I guess Baltimore's head of the mailroom is a real POS. -
Bills hiring new special teams coordinator Chris Tabor
Doc Brown replied to iwishitwerecolder's topic in The Stadium Wall
As we get further removed I think the loss of Frazier had a negative net impact on the defense when many thought it would be a positive net impact. Credit McDermott or whoever made the decision to pry Daboll from Alabama. He messed up with the Dorsey hire but made the tough but necessary in season move to promote Brady. This kind of turnover isn't unusual over an eight year period with one head coach. -
They pry should've ran the ball on that one play (or the next). Plenty of time left at over 3:30. All three time outs. Only down a FG. Want to run some clock so we leave Mahomes with as little time as possible at the end of regulation. Ok. That's my final spiel about that game and I'm on to Cincinnati.

I don't think there's been anybody ever more qualified for the position. -

The only question of the interview was to ask him to count to 11.- 53 replies

Just tell the guys we have to play better.

Let's just have both.

Our secondary was more of a problem this year imo. Need to upgrade both but I'd emphasize the secondary.

I didn't watch the first half because the Chiefs three peat would lead to the nauseating Mahomes fawning, the whole Kelce/Swift thing is just too irritating, the Eagles weren't a likable team, and I thought Kendrick Lamar was a country singer. We were playing cards instead of watching at our yearly Super Bowl party. I checked my phone and I saw the score was 24-0 at half with Mahomes throwing two picks. I double checked my phone to make sure someone didn't hack the ESPN app. We then turned the game on and it was apparent I was wrong about Kendrick Lamar being a country singer. He was awful but at least he wasn't a country singer. Then I watched the most glorious Super Bowl 2nd half of my life and even re-watched it last night. They had all these three peat graphics ready to go. They still used them but it only enhanced the Chiefs failure of accomplishing it. The misery on the Chiefs sideline is something I'll cherish forever.

Did he make any pro bowls because the tag would be higher if he did? They could milk it and release two games a day over a nine day period. It would pry be hard to keep under raps though.

I think the voters gave DeVontae Smith 1st team SB all Pro but gave the SB MVP to Jaylen Hurts. He deserved it. Led the team in rushing too with the Chiefs shutting down Barkely.

This is now on Beane, no question he needs to step up.
Doc Brown replied to SoonerBillsFan's topic in The Stadium Wall
From what I remember Veach said that staying put at either 29 and 30 they feared they'd miss out on both corners they pry had first round grades on (McDuffie and Elam). Fricken Belichick trades the pick and they end up drafting Cole Strange. Goes to show how much a crapshoot the draft really is. I think Elam was more of a project than the Bills realized. -

True but it's been rare in the past to see Beane reach for a player on the "consensus big board" the first two days of the draft. Many had Cody Ford and AJ Epenesa going in the first round.
