Steelers @ Ravens playoff game thread (no Bills stuff please)
Doc Brown replied to Simon's topic in The Stadium Wall
Herbert's an enigma of a quarterback. He always passes the eye test but there's something always "off" about him in important games. He just can never seem to put a consistent four quarters together. -

The Steelers late season meltdown this year won Lamar Jackson the MVP and gave the Chiefs an easy out in the Divisional round. Thanks Tomlin. Hope they fire you and the Patriots hire you so they can be one and done in the Wild Card for the next ten years. -

Beautiful throw by Russ. Kid might have a future in this league. -

This is a game that should get Tomlin fired. He's become the Marvin Lewis of the last decade. -
That Ford guy looks pretty good.

If you told me Los Angeles was up 6-0 on Houston about half way through the game I'd assume they were playing the Astros.

Who's the best WR to wear #12? Is it Nico already?

Please lose tonight Ravens. I'll take either of these two teams.

I think the media crowned Stroud a little too early.

AP All-Pro Teams Announced. Josh 2nd Team Only Bill.

They are but you have to go back to the 80's where a 2nd team All Pro QB won MVP. Crazier things have happened at awards shows though. I remember Shakespeare in Love beating out Saving Private Ryan for best picture at the Oscars. -
I remember that game being a field goal/ punt fest until Pollard broke out a long run. It may have been a Miami blow out with Tua. I remember watching it just in disbelief at how McDaniel didn't have a competent backup QB to run his offense. Penalties galore on offense. Miami only put up 184 yards compared to the Titans 222. The Titans running up the score at the end because the Dolphins defense was gassed from all the three and outs Huntley had with his 96 passing yards.

Which team are you most scared of in the playoffs?
Doc Brown replied to margolbe's topic in The Stadium Wall
Kansas City. They took the Bills out three of the last four years. They're the two time defending champs. They're the healthiest they've been all season. They'll be at home with the motivation of the Bills being the team that ruined their perfect season. I know Lamar bowled a 350 yesterday but he's handled that playoff pressure poorly in the past going back to his first MVP season. -

Win our next three games and he'll meet that minimum criteria. Don't lose sleep over an award. -

That's what put him over the top or was it consistently excellent stats over his career? BTW, minus a career ending injury Allen will accomplish one of your criteria at minimum. Law of averages. -

Dan Fouts? -
It's a fair comp if Lamar ever does win the Super Bowl.

Yeah. Beane's hit a lot of doubles and triples. His only home run was luckily a quarterback. I guess Wyatt Teller would be a home run down 13-0 in the ninth. -

Yeah. The more I think about it the more I feel bad for Browns fans. In fact, I was going to make an Achilles joke but I couldn’t pull it off. So, no pun in tendon. -

If I were an MVP voter I pry would give Lamar the first team All Pro nod and Allen the MVP. History obviously isn't on Allen's side but this is a unique MVP race considering what happened last year.
