He had better numbers than Lamar and Josh last year. Lamar has better numbers this year. Prescott should be the comparison of why voters who gave the award to Lamar last year should've given it to Allen this year.
That makes less sense if the argument is if an All Pro criteria looks more at your basic statistics while MVP votes consider a player's overall impact on a team.
It was a kickoff return with a little over two minutes left where it's likely he hurt it. I'm just wondering why we he was still in a meaningless game with about two minutes left.
If a muffed punt costs us the game this week we'll all look back and wonder why McDermott had Codrington out there to return a kick with two minutes left in a meaningless game.
I posted this earlier but Lamar got 45 first team all pro votes and 49 MVP votes last year. Some voters think there's a distinction and lead more to overall stats when it comes to All Pro voting. This is only relevant if Lamar wins first team All Pro by a small margin.
I don't want to get in a hockey debate. LOL. Let's just say I think Pegula got lucky with the McDermott hire. Beane pry never gets the job here if they hired another coach.
Shocked he didn't turn one of the most dysfunctional franchises around in one year. He actually had a decent draft with Bowers, Glaze, and JPG. This was obviously not due to his performance so something is obviously going on behind the scenes.
It would be funny if the Bills ultimate chess move was to have Samuel play subpar on purpose in the regular season and then unleash him in the playoffs with a wide variety of ways to get him the ball in space.
They must've fired the Smurf uniform picker last offseason. I'd be fine if they wore these for every home game the rest of my life. It's by far the best look.
Football is a small sample sport so it's difficult to fire a head coach who's team consistently wins the division. At what point though do we get a big enough sample size that McDermott isn't a great playoff coach? Add to that the anxiety of not winning a Super Bowl while the best QB this franchise has ever had in his prime and you could justify firing him if he doesn't win the whole thing within the next few years.
