  1. I understand the league's reasoning but it doesn't mean the league was right. No matter what they did besides actually resuming the game somebody was going to feel more screwed than others. Heck, even KC fans are whining that they won't get to host the AFC Championship game if we make it there.
  2. If we beat the Bengals we would've had the #1 seed most likely. How is it any different than Bengals fans claiming they would've gotten the #2 seed if they beat us? I'll take a home game but they got the short end of the stick even worse than we did. KC were the only benefactors.
  3. Does CBS just keep them there for the week? Pretty soon they'll be able to identify an Alden accent.
  4. They surrendered only 231 yards made them settle for three field goals. They forced five punts, two turnovers, and six three and outs. The Fins only had one drive out of 15 where they went for more than 38 yards. That will win you most games.
  5. It took the destiny out of their hands just like it did for us getting the one seed. We at least got the neutral site out of it. They got zilch.
  6. Now it's about one and a half points since NFL teams have become better on the road over the years. They're saying we're a point to two better than the Bengals.
  7. If the Bengals looked like juggernauts tonight it may have. They weren't. I suspect it sticks right around three points throughout the week.
  8. True but their argument is if they beat the Bills they would've had the two seed. Honestly, they have a point.
  9. Maximum viewing. Nobody has to get up early on the West Coast or go to bed early on the East Coast.
  10. I'm feeling a little better about next week's game assuming Cinci wins.
  11. A long shot on a go route in single coverage you take every time. Josh and Gabe need to connect on one of those. If they do we’re having a completely different conversation.
  12. You’re acting like he can tell the future. Few have that ability.
  13. We’re on to Cincinnati. My guess is we open as three point favorites.
  14. Offense: Pass early from the spread. Go up tempo and be aggressive. Build a lead and then get that running game going. Defense: Stop the run. Throw the kitchen sink at the rookie. Special Teams: Do not let Tyreek Hill return the ball.
  15. I agree with most of this. Staley deserves a lot of blame but so does Herbert (missed a wide open Keenan Allen for a TD) and Lombardi for not running the darn ball in the second half. Chargers pry should've hired Daboll but I'm guessing Staley nailed the interview as he seems like a guy that can talk a really good game. Peterson had a sensational second half managing the game and Lawrence was great. Sometimes I think we focus too much on the team that lost mistakes and not the team that played flawless in this case in the second half. Props to the Jaguars. Hope to see them next weekend.
  16. How pissed would you have been if the Jaguars missed that two pointer and lost by four?
  17. Glad I didn't cash out my 50 dollar bet on the Jags when down 27-0 for 28 cents.
  18. Nobody is minimizing the amazing work of the training staff or anyone else involved by believing that there was some higher force that saved Hamlin's life. Was Heines kick return an act of god or the result of the Patriots funneling to the middle of the field and not maintaining their gap integrity as Heins saw an opening to the right. Not sure. Allen interpreted it as an act of god and he has every right to feel that way. I interpret it as the Patriots inept special teams kickoff coverage unit who's now allowed three touchdowns returned on 54 attempts. No other team has allowed more than one.
  19. No surprise. Allen is 8-2, 71% completion percentage, 27 total TD's, 7 INT's, 7.8 YPA, and a 106 passing rating in dome/retractable roof stadiums. Football was meant to be played indoors. God I hope this matchup happens.
  20. It's really simple. With only two practice squad call ups allowed the Bills wanted to make sure they could have Beasley and Brown available while still being able to call up somebody from another position in case of an emergency (looks like it may be at DT this week). Also, if necessary, Brown can stay on the practice squad in case of two emergencies at different positions. They value Beasley over Brown at this point. It has nothing to do with pay or someone else poaching him off another team.
  21. 1995 was a weird year. All seven of our losses were by double digits.
  22. I just want the W. This result of this game feels like waiting for a biopsy. It'll likely come back negative but I'm still freaking worried until it does.
