Morons. I went to the 2013 home opener and before the frickin' game even started some doofus in the row behind us thought another dude was looking at his snaggletoofed lady friend and started a fight over it. Spilled their beer everywhere. I'll never understand how it's supposed to be fun to get absolutely schnittfaced before 1p and then stumble your drunken behind into a stadium where you're passing out before the opening kick. Dummies.

He looks like the real deal. I typically try to temper my expectations but that dude gets me psyched. I really get this feeling that he's gonna be like a top five at his position within a couple years.
Aside from that, the penalties were pretty irritating. For as much as ol' McD preaches discipline and fundamentals his teams tend to get flagged a lot.
I guess I'd like to assume that they went the "vanilla" route with things and didn't want to put any of their fancy schmancy stuff on tape. Penalties killed a decent drive and wiped out that 35 yard zinger to Gabe. Bah.
Anywho, as a total professional foosball coach my advice to them would be: stop breakin' the rules, @**holes!

After watching him today he's definitely an intriguing player. Has the arm and the athleticism. I guess it'll probably hinge on whether or not he can grasp the mental aspects and have the game slow down for him. Definitely can see why teams were interested.

I missed much of the 2nd half. Just checking to see if there were any injuries?
Tommy Doyle got rolled up on during his first series. He finished the drive but did not return after that.

I never really understood the whole "this is how we do it, adapt or hit the bricks" approach. I always figured it was ideal to coach to the strengths of your players. Seems pretty straightforward.

I like to babble about the Bills. Also, they shut down the official Bills forum back in 2017, which led to quite an uptick in new members for this place.

Man, every year I'm still somehow amazed at how bunched up the panties become on some posters over things like drops or off-target throws or whiffed blocks. "I'm concerned!" "Seeing this really makes me scared!" Of what?! This stuff is supposed to be fun.
Ideally I'm sure they'd love for everything to go perfectly every time, that's just not reality. If you're gonna have drops and miscues, practice is the place for it.

John Wawrow sound like big dummy.
I never really thought the situation was that serious to begin with. Diggs is known to be an emotional guy and he was fired up over a bad loss. Stuff happens. Kinda also just this day and age of instant information where things said get magnified and overanalyzed.

I think I'll check it out eventually but I dunno if they could've picked three less appealing QBs, at least IMO. Mahomes has the media hangin' off his danglebag all season since 2018. It gets old hearing about the guy nonstop. Mariota seems like a nice dude but I almost forgot he's still in the league.
Lastly there's Kirk... stinky, doofus-faced, rat-nosed, total weenie Kurt. I've kinda always caught jerkface vibes from that dude. He seems like a nice guy on the surface but make no mistake, this man is making lampshades out of human skin in his storage shed in his downtime. There's just something about him. That and I once saw him scream at and the shove a volunteer referee for a charity flag football game Kurk was playing in. Have I let that one incident shape my entire opinion of Kurd? I sure have. But also....he's just a weenie.

Watching that highlight video reminded me of my favorite Cook play from last year. The second regular season Miami game, that TD pass right before the half. Went thru a bunch of emotions on that play. It was like, "Okay, if it isn't there just throw it away and take three... *Josh begins to scramble* c'mon man you're almost outta time, get rid of it! *clock expires* Crap, clock ran out, now they can't even get three. *Josh zips it to Cook for the TD* Well hey look at that!"
They were wizards at scoring just before the half last season.

Would you pay someone for 5 years knowing you might only get 2-3 good years out of them?
Yeah this here makes a lot of sense. The player wants guaranteed money but can't guarantee he'll be able to fulfill the entire length of his contract.

It's been rumored for a while now that they were planning on doing the 90s throwbacks. I'm down for it. I like the current kits they have the most but mixing it up is fun too.

The way he describes the playoff game is the way I saw it too. That is what it looked like on my tv set.
It was a bummer. I kept waiting for the spark but it never came around. The infinite Bengals third down conversions were met with a lot of *siiiigh* "They just look like they're completely outta gas today." Just the worst time to have their worst game.

He called me a doodiehead. I had no choice but to retaliate with the heavy artillery. I called him a poopface.

Without even discussing how meaningful a stat this may be. You do realize that Hopkins only played in 9 games?
Nuh uh! He played 36 quarters! So...math.

@blacklabel any reason for the sour face on my main post? If you disagree with something, I got broad shoulders... i can take it but lets hear it
Haha not really, man. Just messing around. I dunno, sometimes I see similar posts and I just think, "Hey, the dude does his job pretty well already." Since his rookie year I've seen the guy as a gamer, especially earlier in his career. It wasn't always pretty, didn't always go according to plan, but you could see the dude was gonna give it his all every down..
I think other comments have made fair points that some of Allen's mishaps are on the OL. Yeah, we don't wanna see fumbles but with as much as he scrambles and runs it just kinda comes with the territory I think. We also know the injury last season had some affects on how he could play.
He does seem to have cut loose a little bit now that his relationship ended. I dunno if that was negatively affecting him or not. There are a buncha rumors and BS surrounding the Bengals playoff game. Either way, dude says he's never been more focused on the foosball. Hopefully he stays healthy, the revamped OL gives him more than 0.004 seconds to throw and the other dudes who are there to catch ball and run ball do good at catch ball and run ball. Ball.

I guess not. Because if Bill Barnwell has the Bills ranked 20 it MUST be so. Thanks for freeing up my weekends. No reason to watch now, I suppose Maybe I'll just sign up for that Salsa dancing class the wife has been harping me about instead.
You'll go make spicy salsa and you'll like it! Make sure you don't rub your eyes or your mcnuggets when working with hot peppers.

They don't call him "Stick Movin' Gabe" for nothin'.
....I don't think anybody calls him that, nor should they. What an awful nickname suggestion. I hang mah head in shame.

There are some real pieces of work out there.....some fans are leaving negative comments on Diggs IG just because he's into fashion (Same thing happened to Poyer with his charity golf thing)
"All about you. You've lost my respect. Your passion is fashion but we pay a ton out of our meager pockets for you to play - not the runway but for the Bills. Make up your mind." - Circus Clown
Diggs rightfully responded with a laughing faceThat crap irritates me. These "fans" don't seem to realize these guys have lives outside of football. I wonder what they'd say when you tell them some dudes don't even love playing, they just discovered that they were really good at it and could make a truckload of money doing it. But no, you got these boneheads who think they should be doing football 24/7. The entitlement runs pretty deep with some of them.
Stevie Johnson posted an old tweet of his on his IG yesterday. It was from like 2013 or 14 and he was like, "Remember, I've got you on my fantasy work team! Get me some points today at your job." Something like that. Stevie was a mushroom, a real fun guy.

Cripes, some of these comments. It's like why waste the time and energy to be a fan if you're just gonna be sour grapes over everything the team does?
I've said it before, they could to win the Super Bowl 49-3 and some people here would still be like, "Yeah, but Josh has GOT to be more careful and not throw that third quarter pick!"
"You mean the one that bounced off a helmet at the line? Oh, and it was also 35-0 at that point. That pick?"
"Yeah man, that's the one! Can't have that if they wanna now be perennial contenders!"
That'll be how the goal posts get moved. "Yeah, McBeane turned around a middling franchise and made it a desired location among free agents. They installed a true culture and made the playoffs five years straight before making them for a sixth year and finally winning the big one."
Some "fans" would still be like: "Yeah well, McDermott still is not the guy for me and I'd much rather prefer an offensive minded coach who once sat next to Sean McVay on a flight to Denver." That'll be the only requirement at that point. Interview process like, "Okay so you coached under the magnificent Sean McVay?"
"Uh...well, not really but I did see him in a Target once."
"Pssh, say no more, you're hired. Here's your headset."
Bah.

Is the practice squad put together later today? Has to be after all the waivers clear, right?
