  1. Rodgers sometimes forgets to snap his chin strap back on and every time he does it’s a run play lol
  2. My favorite Dicky Sherman moment is two seconds after this when Erin says, “Who’s talking about you, Richard?” and it completely catches him off guard because he’s obviously just trying to boast. And he’s like, “Ah, uh, Crabtree!” Don’t you ever try me with no sorry receiver like Crabtree! Don’t you ever try me with no bail on mah crimes!
  3. It's a 17 game season so, who knows, Diggs might be able to replicate his 2020 numbers but if I had to guess I'd expect him to have less than 127 this season, just because Daboll is gonna have stuff drawn up for Sanders and Davis, and Beasley if he plays this season or whatever he's doing. Diggs probably still snags near or more than 100 because he's Josh's go-to. I think McKenzie might see his snaps on offense decrease and his special teams snaps increase if he ends up beating out Brandon Powell and Marcus Stevenson for the return job. Knox's numbers need to go up, he can be a difference maker in the offense if he just stays healthy. I have high hopes for the kid so naturally he'll probably get hurt and need a quadruple backeotomy by week two. Cursed! Meanwhile, TJ Yeldon will catch 450 passes this season and show youse all why it was da dumbest move in Bills history to let him walk! FIRE BEANE!
  4. Just like they were supposedly ready to run to the podium on draft day with Najee Harris or...oh for the love of pete I can't remember the Clemson kid's name without googling, cripes, please hold... *muttering under breath* friggin' old, got CRS, ugh... googley google, who is the Clemson kid stuck in hell now, er, I mean, Jacksonville? Etienne, there it is... yeah, we heard a lot through April that the Bills were high on a back but then after the draft came and went, Beane said all that was BS. I'm starting to think that they have someone in the front office who they allow to be a source for the media but probably feed them a ton of misinformation with maybe little bits of truth in between. And now this dude speculating on a deal for Ertz, yeah, he's closer to the team than the average fan but straight up says he has no inside info on it, so he was likely just writing the column for some clicks. Or... maybe the Eagles are doing their thing in the news and rumors game and leaked out a little info to him but told him to keep a lid on it? Who knows. It's as if these teams never really stop with the smokescreens on one another. At the end of the day, get Ertz, don't get Ertz, I don't think he's a make or break player for this team. I seriously think Knox will be just fine and is poised for a breakout year. Last we saw of Ertz he really looked like a shell of his former self, as they say. However, if he's healthy and cool with more of a #2 role, then sure, throw them a 5th or a 6th or something and bring him in and let him compete. I just don't have high hopes that he would come here and suddenly return to the player he was from like 2016-2019.
  5. Maybe they trade a guy like Addison if someone like Epenesa or Obada, or even one of the rookies really impresses through camp and pre-season and make Addison expendable. It's definitely a no-go for me on Hughes. Dude is one of the heart and soul types on this team and has really grown into a leader role since McDermott took over. The thing to remember with McDermott and Beane is the on-field production isn't always paramount in their decision making on who they bring in. They bring in guys with elite work ethics and practice habits because they want their younger talent to see that and model after it. They're basically saying, "You wanna hang around for ten or more years in this league? Then be around this player as much as possible, soak up any info he gives you, look at his practice habits, etc. etc." So, guys like Hughes are really important in that sense. And while his straight sack numbers have hovered around 4-6 for the last couple seasons, he's one of the only ones on the team that puts consistent pressure on the QB. Doesn't always get home, but he disrupts a lot of plays. He's still got plenty left in the tank, although I do hope one of the younger guys can step up so they don't have to rely on him quite as much and can use him more in straight pass rushing situations and just let him go after the QB and not have to worry about other assignments as often.
  6. Nice. For years I’ve thought it’d be cool to see a 90s throwback kit with the red helmets but they’ve had this weird one helmet rule instituted for a while now. Been ten years now since they switched to the white helmets and this year they’re gonna look sharp as heck with that white facemask. I’d love to see them come up with a new alternate, maybe with a blue helmet or something.
  7. 1. Josh Allen 2. Stefon Diggs 3. Tre’Davious White 4. Matt Milano 5. Jordan Poyer 6. Tremaine Edmunds 7. Dion Dawkins 8. Daryl Williams 9. Ed Oliver 10. Jerry Hughes
  8. I read that as “noodle armed weenie can’t hang” and will not buck trend. I refuse to feel any kind of bad for the Pats after they just had 19 seasons of elite quarterback play. Suffer, you Pats fans, suffer in QB purgatory such as we have!
  9. I’ve noticed that for years with all sorts of media dweebs. They’re all looking to be the first one with the big controversial take so people pay attention and give them views and clicks. I’m convinced these dudes are playing characters at this point because you know some of the BS they spew they don’t even believe themselves. But they all have their production meetings with their superiors and editors and they get direction on what type of discussion to have and where to keep the focus on which topics and all that stuff. It’s annoying. I haven’t watched any sort of pregame show in years because of it.
  10. It’s Tannehill and the Titans. Brady wanted to go play for his buddy Vrabel but they backed out after doing their due diligence or whatever they call it.
  11. Yeesh, Cam really lost it these last few years. His mechanics just look so wonky. Seems like a complete 50/50 when he throws it, it’s either gonna be fairly on target or miss by a mile. Even his last year in Carolina he was missing on routine throws. And then Jones looks like the reincarnation of Chad Pennington, just with less accuracy but the same noodle arm. Good. Suffer, New England. Suffaaaahhhhhh!!!
  12. I thought they would’ve gone with a retractable roof as opposed to open air with some type of overhang thingy. I think the whole weather factor can be a bit overstated, I don’t think it makes a crazy huge difference in games. Plus, it’s only like every other season or two do they have a heavy snow game. The wind can be a little more persistent throughout the fall but again, only every so often is it so high it has an impact on the game. I figured they would’ve with the roof that way they can use the stadium year round for all sorts of events and not have to worry about the weather. Either way, a new stadium was inevitably the thing that was gonna happen. I’ll be excited to see the design they end up choosing.
  13. Pure dominance. All-Pro and Hall of Fame levels of play, otherwise all these dudes are busts and Beane is an incompetent GM and should be fired. Nah, but over all the years I’ve hung around the Bills forums, whether this one or the old official one, it seems like some people genuinely have those expectations. As usual, you’ve gotta put everything into context. Ed Oliver - Had a solid rookie year, and I believe last year he was probably asked to do some different things since Lotulelei wasn’t there. And they also shuffled the line rotations and changed up their attack after they got spanked against the run a few times, so when you’re making changes and trying to find the best combinations for the rotation you’re gonna have a few bumps in the road. They expect big things from him though, and hopefully this season their DL is where they want it so they can put Ed in the role they want which is QB pressure and sacks from the interior. I hope he has a breakout year. Cody Ford - If he stays healthy he’s gonna have every opportunity to win a starting job. At best, he’s a starting guard, at worst he can be a swing tackle/guard. I’m sure they’d like one of their second round picks that they traded up for to work out and become a starter and not go the way of the Zay. But, if someone like Bates or Lamp make huge strides and straight up outplay him, I can see a situation where Beane trades him to an OL-needy team. Devin Singletary - I’m not as down about him as some have been. The run game issues go beyond the backs, the OL seemed to really struggle to open lanes and get to the second level. That could be attributed to how the OL was shuffled around last season due to injury. Dawkins was the only OL to start every game. Feliciano couldn’t go until mid-season, Ford was hurt, Quinton Spain petered out and was shown the door, Mitch Morse missed a couple games, etc. This season, hopefully they solidify their starting five early so they can have time to get things down. There are certainly enough talented OL for them to have a solid line. Zack Moss being in and out of the lineup didn’t help either. Not to make excuses for 26 but his role is/should be more of a change of pace kinda back who can turn a screen into a big gain because he works best in space where he can make guys miss. His cuts are crazy, his contact balance is really good and so is his vision. He has a lot of great qualities for a running back but he does lack the size and speed, which is why they drafted Moss. I think the plan was to have Moss be the in between the tackles guy and Singletary in the aforementioned role. If everything falls into place, I.e. everyone is healthy and playing the role planned for them then I think we’ll see a solid uptick the run game. Dawson Knox - He’s my breakout player for them this season. I think he finally puts it all together and starts making the easy catches he’s been known to drop here and there. He’s another player that was affected by health and injuries and missed time during the season. He also didn’t switch to TE until he got to Ole Miss and then he played in an offense with AJ Brown and DK Metcalf, so they didn’t exactly feature the TE when they had those guys. So it’s taken him some time to really pin down all the nuances of the position, I’m sure. The talent is there, the coaching is there, just stay healthy and put it all together.
  14. I dunno, man. You don’t want the shot, don’t get it. But you don’t get to fart around and do things that can put your teammates at risk.
  15. Lee Evans probably would’ve had bigger numbers if he’d had a steady QB. I used to feel like EJ Manuel may have flourished under better coaching than Doug Marrone and Nate “Just take off and run if your first read isn’t there” Hackett but I don’t know how much better he would’ve been under another staff. Probably somewhat better. Marrone’s insistence on being a run-first team didn’t do the kid any favors. I’ll go with a throwback here in a different kind of sense but I always thought Kenny Davis would’ve been a stud if he wasn’t behind Thurm. Those two made a great combination.
  16. I think it finally all comes together for Dawson Knox. He finally starts making the gimme catches combined with the difficult ones he brings down. 55 receptions, 875 yards, 6 TDs.
  17. Barf. I hate the friggin' Titans. I hope they all get the poops.
  18. His first season showed a lot of promise but you knew the team was going to be retooled across the board so it was cool to see him take a team he didn't build to the playoffs. The 2018 season sold me. Week in and week out you'd hear the analyst weenies talk about how ready and amped up McDermott had the team and how they probably shouldn't have even won the 6 games that they did. The fact that he had his guys playing hard in meaningless games is a testament to a good coach who has a good connection with his players. 2019 I remember thinking, "I guess the style of ball he wants to play is score just over 20 and play super tough defense." Then 2020 happened and showed me how wrong I was on that notion. So yeah, impressed in 2017 and really bought in throughout 2018. It's so nice to see where they are now.
  19. Yeah, Josh Allen has a strong arm but did you know his arm is also arrogant?! The horror! The unmitigated gall! Dumbest GD poop I've ever read.
  20. I’m really of the mind that these websites and analytic sites do crap like this on purpose. It’s been done for years now. Toss up the hot take (which the person saying it doesn’t actually believe) which is purposely inflammatory so they stir up conversation and clicks. It doesn’t seem to hurt their “credibility” at all because for every reader or two they lose they probably gain a half a dozen new ones who will hang around until they too get wise to their crap and ignore them and the cycle just goes on and on. I also love how these dillholes just arbitrarily make up stats or terms that they think apply to the game. Arm arrogance? What in the muffin fluffin heck is that? Turnover worthy throws are stupid too. Was the ball turned over? No? Then shut up. Every QB willing to zip it into a tight window is gonna have these “turnover worthy” throws. These things don’t seem to be a problem when they wanna analyze and discuss Mahomes or Rodgers. Some of these nerds still hang onto this notion that Allen is a reckless player who reverts to “hero ball” on every other play. It’s to the point where Josh could do 99 out of 100 things absolutely perfect and these idiots would focus only on the 1 thing out of 100 that he didn’t do. Or that he did do but didn’t do it to their convoluted standards so therefore he a bum. Once again, junk like this is why I quit reading all those sites and stopped watching any of the pregame shows. So much of it is filler these days anyway. Content content content we need more content, can we get a correspondent in Josh’s closet so we can analyze his sock choice today?! Argyle?! This man is clearly a monster and Brandon Beane must act quickly and cut him to save this franchise! Click here for more bozo takes. Bah.
  21. I'll watch all 32 teams in the league but I never catch the same emotion and energy I do from watching the Bills. That's how you know it's your team. Aside from that, though...I have a buddy who's a Giants fan and the Bills are his #2 team so we'll keep an eye on how each team is doing. I've kinda always liked the Bengals because I really liked the colors as a kid. I really like Burrow, he just seems like he has that "it" thing they always talk about and he doesn't seem to get rattled at all. Their coach on the other hand, I knighted that guy as the ultimate weenie after his meltdown at the end of the 2019 game when Tre picked it off to seal the game. I guess I just don't get it. It's one thing to be passionate but that can be done without screaming so insanely you look like you're gonna pass out. On top of that, how have all coaches not learned that the temper tantrums never change things? That James Connor kid had a good story so I was rooting for him. Rodgers is fun to watch because he's so frickin' good, same with Brees. Meh, can't think of anything else but in general I like seeing people succeeding and having fun doing it....unless it's against da Bills, which in that case, I root for them to play like hot garbage.
  22. He has some ridiculous change of direction skills and he may not have the home run speed but he's good for explosive bursts that get him away from a crowd. So what if he's not a between the tackles guy or whatever. Define what he does best and design plays that utilize his best skills.
  23. Fair points. I wasn't necessarily saying they should roll with what they did for 2020 as the new normal. Teams can still create a fun and immersive camp experience at their stadiums or facilities.
  24. That's a bummer. That's a tough injury to come back from especially for an OL who anchor and put a lot of stress on the feet and ankles.
