  1. All fair points. What I've been wondering is if they're limiting the offense intentionally these last few games in order to keep some things in their back pocket for the playoffs. I wonder if that's why they have the inconsistency. Doesn't seem like they're doing anything super creative, not a lot of misdirection or pre-snap motion, but they're able to score enough to win despite stalling out on several drives. Just makes me wonder if they're like, hey that's fine, we still won and we didn't have to bust out our big money plays. I could be totally wrong and they could be out there running their big time stuff and just not doing it well. But I feel like once the playoffs start we'll see the offense spark a little more.
  2. I've always gotten weenie-douche vibes from this guy. McCorkle, youse a punk. Look at that face and tell me you don't at least wanna hurl a few eggs at it. He's a walking fart.
  3. For sure. The real kicker is how one of those two schmuck teams is gonna stumble bass-ackwards into the playoffs with like a 8-9, 7-10 record. I know they wanna make division play important but I dunno, teams at 11-6 or whatever shouldn't have to sit home in lieu of a 8-9 team just because they won their poopy division. And if the Bucs get in the media will pee themselves over, "Tommy's in da playoffs where aNytHiNG cAn hApPeN!" It all comes back to the media for me and just how much I can't stand them turds. Ah well. Go Bills.
  4. I like dis guys idea. Singletary and Cook have become a really good combo. I'd like to see it remain intact. I know salary cap and all that but yeah, Singletary and Edmunds are on my "please find a way to keep these guys" list.
  5. I guess now he can go back to carrying Doug Marrone's books from class to class.
  6. Nice throw, Tua. I just don't see it with that kid. His mechanics look awkward, yeah he can be accurate but he's got next to zero zip on his throws. Lot of stuff looks schemed open for him and he still misfires. I dunno. Not to knock the guy or anything, just don't see it.
  7. Catch ya later, Strangler.
  8. Worried? Nah. Irritated, sure. Pretty annoying when it's 3rd and 17 and the D is like, "You need 17, you say? Here, take 22, a few extra just in case!"
  9. Way back in the Flutie era I went to a Raiders game which the Bills won and boy there were some irritated Raiders fans exiting the stadium that day. Went to the 2013 opener against New England and walking outside after the loss these college aged girls, probably six of them, just being loud and vulgar with kids near and everyone was just like, "Nice, real classy." Same game tho, two moron Bills fans in the row behind us got into a fight before the game even started. Had beer spilled on myself and fiancee at the time. I'll never understand the schmucks that get plastered that early in the day and then can't even watch the game because they're complete disasters. Sat next to some Packers fans in 2014, the game where Jordy Nelson dropped a sure TD and Broccoli Rambo picked off Rodgers twice. The fans were cool. Afterwards I think I said something like, "We rarely get to enjoy a big win, at least you guys still have Rodgers!"
  10. I dunno man, they seem to fare alright against mobile QBs. Lamar hasn't exactly had the best games against the Bills. Fields has his moments but I dunno, I'm not really concerned. Ever.
  11. Mac getting run over is really what makes it. The effort there is pretty sad. I mean I know it's Jones but you gotta give a bit more effort than that. It's wonderful watching the Patriots suffer. Couldn't happen to a nicer team.
  12. Only double ass? Not triple ass? Quadruple?
  13. I'm so lost here. Who said this?
  14. Any update on Bates? If he can go at center in place of Morse and Ike can slot in on the right then that wouldn't be too shabby. Not ideal but not awful. Nothing against the guy but all I know is when Greg Van Roten is in the game Josh has instant pressure on like every other drop back.
  15. Yeah, I saw this. Kinda interesting. Diggs has 99 receptions this season. The receptions among the rest of the main skill players are really consistent. Knox has 43, Davis has 42, McKenzie has an even 40, and Singletary has 35. Next player with the most receptions is Cook with 18. It's like, obviously Diggs is the clear number one, but the number two on this team is a mix of four different players lol. Before the season, I felt like they were pretty well set at WR. Davis had kind of a slow start but I think he's been picking it up these last few weeks. I want to be a McKenzie fan, but the dude is just so inconsistent. One week he'll go off for 10 catches, 135 yards and a TD, then follow it up with four drops, a fumble and a jet sweep that goes for -8 yards. Knox has had to play a lot more in-line than he usually does but they are getting him more involved late in the season here. Not gonna hold my breath for Beasley or Brown to pop up with a huge game anytime soon. Hopefully with Beasley back in the mix they can run more plays as Josh was saying they've been limited with some stuff because nobody could execute it like Beasley. Diggs is the guy, though. Wonder if they're limiting him a bit just to keep him fresh for the post-season.
  16. Barf lol. The entire Colts organization needs to quit football right now. Disgusting.
  17. I've always felt like he's an overrated bum. Sure, he piles up the stats but it don't mean much if you're not winning consistently. He almost reminds me of ol' Drew Bledsoe at times. Has like next to zero mobility in the pocket and hangs onto it too long at times. Friggin' schmuck.
  18. Vikings playing like hot garbage. Colts are more fired up and taking it to them.
  19. Snow had stopped by about 9a but as of now it's coming down again. Sideways, big fat flakes. I live just off Abbott about 3.5 miles from the stadium. I don't think this kind of wet, heavy snow is a real benefit to anyone. If it keeps up it's likely gonna be a sloppy game where both teams are gonna have to try and run it when they're both offenses that love to air it out. Guess it depends on how clear they can keep the field.
  20. As much as 13 seconds sucked, that was my takeaway from that game. I just remember thinking, "The dude is too good, he's just too good not to bring it home one of these years." I truly believe that. JA just has that "it" factor about him and he's a gamer. He's just gonna find a way.
  21. "Alrighty, we're up by 11 with seven minutes to go, time to shut this offense down and hang on for the win! I want HB dive in every GD play from here on out!"
  22. I would strongly suggest the Take Your Eye Off the Ball books by Pat Kirwan. He breaks things down really well and the books are super informative and not difficult to comprehend.
  23. I don't think he's in any danger of being fired. At times the play calls aren't the greatest but more often than not it's been the offense misfiring with drops, penalities and turnovers. It's frustrating to see those things still happening fairly regularly this far into the season. I wish Ken would get a little more creative but it was said that Daboll's playbook was dense and the terminology was quite a bit. I think they wanted to simplify things a bit more for this season. That said, some of their game plans have seemed a bit odd. The Rams game, for instance, was a well-called game with the quick passes to negate their pass rush. In some games where they've played teams with equal pass rushes they've stuck with their usual plays and haven't switched to the quick throws. And then you see stuff like the Jets being vulnerable over the middle but the Bills only targeted that area four times. It's a weird spot to be in. When Daboll was here and they'd try to change up the offense depending on opponent, people would clamor that they were getting away from their identity and needed to stick to their bread and butter. And now it's kind of in this vice versa space where some are feeling like they're sticking with their main stuff too often and not adjusting to what their opponent is doing. It's a process, and dapgummit, y'all are gonna trust it
  24. Just get open on third down like usual, Bease. The Sneezely Beasley. I do wonder what he has left in the tank. He bailed after what, two or three weeks with ol' Tampa Tom? I also saw it mentioned that the dude replied to a tweet back in November that he was very happy not being in Buffalo so I wonder what changed. Wait, no I don't. They said, here's some money, go catch the pigskin.
  25. The stadium is in Orchard Park, about 15 minutes south of downtown Buffalo. There are hotels in OP and the surrounding areas if you wanna be close to the stadium. Of course there are plenty of places downtown to stay and that's where the nightlife and stuff is at. Chippewa and that whole section. I've actually only hung around out there like twice. I'm a bumpkin raised in Chautauqua county but now living the high life here in Slackawanna. I'm sure others can suggest better places to stay and eat but if you like Puerto Rican food, hit up the Niagara Cafe on Niagara St for the best pastelillos around.
