Well assuming you are trading a 2nd round pick (and plus something else perhaps) you obviously wouldnt think he is old and washed up and has more than 1 good year left. If you felt that way why would you trade anything at all. What I am saying is if there is a trade for him, I do not believe it would be for 10 games. I can see why you would not want to trade for someone if that is your thought, but my thought is you wouldnt trade for someone in the first place at that price.

The bolded is not true. I am not saying we are trading for him, but if we did, that money is not guaranteed. It would be easy to restructure the deal and lessen the cap ramifications on that, and would most likely be done/agreed to prior to a trade. I doubt anyone is trading a second rd pick (rumored price) for him and planning on keeping him half a season, especially when he has years left on his deal.

I dont know why people would be against adding a top talent. Doesnt he still have two years on his deal after this that wouldnt be guaranteed (once traded)? That would mean easy to manipulate that to lower cap hits.

I watched the cardinals game at my neighbors with a bunch of other people. When the bs roughing call extended the drive for the cardinals and essentially gifted them the TD, I shouted out and was upset. Other people looked at me like I was nuts. I dont want to watch games with those kinds of people. I used to watch the game with my parents, but over the years even after Josh, they are so negative. Every bad play is the end of the world and they need to be benched. I dont want to watch games with those kinds of people. I like a positive environment. My neighbor who is a bills fan wants to go somewhere to watch the game tonight. I will probably take him up on that as I dont want to be yelling at the tv when kids and wife are trying to sleep. He is much more relaxed and doesnt seem to get into it the way I do (he is a bills fan from SoCal, became a bills fan bc of OJ and never been to Buffalo for a home game). I am not sure I want to watch the game with someone like that.....

I dont care if it was a "good play call". Sirianni blew that game for them. You run it on 3rd down, then if you want to go for the first down, you do it on 4th and that play call is fine. The only realistic way the Eagles in that situation lose the game is to stop the clock AND not get the first down. Only way that scenario comes into play is by that play call.

I like the idea of it, will have to wait to see the results. Brady is picking all of the plays he likes that week for the opponent, and then has the players go through and pick the ones they feel they can execute best. Seems like an obvious idea, but it should help players take ownership and be more engaged in the process, while still giving Brady the control as he calls the plays and he picked the plays really to begin with.
