  1. I thought Irvin was into hookers and blow?
  2. Lol no worries, I was going to say you would probably have been the first bills fan to ever make that argument
  3. I first thought this was about the potential draft pick and wr from Clemson, then I remembered the Cuse guy, and then I remembered the tackle from Texas. Please lets just stay away from the name Mike Williams Ha! same thoughts here
  4. LOL Oh I remembered him, but you really aren't suggesting he was worth the 8th overall are you?
  5. Just went back to 2002 and here are the safeties selected in the top 10: Roy Williams Sean Taylor Michael Huff Donte Whitner (ugh) Laron Landry Eric Berry So in the last 15 years there have been 6 safeties in taken in the top 10, and the only real star (lived up to draft spot) I would argue is Berry. And Norman was taken in the 5th round, so McD didn't use a high pick on acquiring him FWIW
  6. Sean Taylor didn't last that long (RIP) and Eric Berry is good but I personally don't think a safety warrants a top 10 pick. Its just not a high value position. And to add on, this draft is supposedly deep at DB so why not wait and see what we can get later. Plus we just signed two safeties which lessens a need at that spot. I just don't see us taking one at 10, but I could be wrong of course
  7. I cant remember a safety being taken in the top 10 that has ever lived up to the hype Where wouldn't Foster fit? I could see the bengals taking him in front of us, which would follow the trend of Willis and Kuechley being taken right in front of us.....
  8. He doesn't like to use high picks on corners based on his tenures elsewhere, granted he probably didn't have final say, but I read that it was not his philosophy as well and this seems to confirm that. That is why I had it narrowed down to Davis or Foster or QB depending on how they view the QB prospects.
  9. Its obvious he doesn't want Whaley to know what he is doing so he can avoid him and work with the Pegulas behind DW's back
  10. Didn't Keuchley go the pick before us too? Ugh
  11. McDermott believes in using later picks on secondary (see Josh Norman), not to say he wont ever, but in a deep class at db I feel like we should wait to grab them later and use the pick on another position that can be addressed like LB, QB, WR, TE
  12. I am not suggesting that he favors him because he plays in the same state, but he may like him more than the other candidates due to a better familiarity with him (assuming he wants to go QB) and yes there are games across the country but the coverage of a local program is much more prevalent where you live Edit: Although I am not familiar with the local coverage or a big UNC fan so maybe Boyst can shed some light on how they cover the team down there in NC
  13. Didn't you hear about the car accident in Idaho that was blamed on Bigfoot just the other day? Rumor has it he did it as he believed it was a good representation of our FO
  14. Just a gut feeling that he may want him as he may have more familiarity with him than most I would think. Like I said, its a feeling which means there is nothing concrete to back it up Not sure what the deal is or your sardonic response to it
  15. I remember there being Ames, but never went into any of them. I remember driving around my wife's hometown around the holiday time and seeing an empty Ames building and laughing as I totally forgot that they were a thing
  16. I have this feeling for some reason that he may want Trubisky, seeing as he coached in Carolina, although its not like Watson was far away either. So those two would be my likely candidates (assuming they stay at 10) if they went QB
  17. I believe he refers to him as "Sasquatch" not Bigfoot, take from that what you will
  18. Obviously, he needs to come out and state directly that the JLC report was false or we know he is hiding something!
  19. I hope its a smoke screen as I really want Davis, but maybe that means Foster or trade down?
  20. What about this, "But, on Monday at the NFL owners meetings, McDermott scoffed at the notion that he and Whaley were on poor terms, let alone participating in the in-house bickering that many believe to be occurring."
  21. It was probably with some backhanded compliment like "he looks good considering how old he is"
  22. I think they don't have much to feed him which helps keep his figure down
  23. Keeping up with the Kardashians (most reality tv in general) I somehow don't think you are missing out
