  1. I voted for Chuck Schumer once
  2. I dont believe that was true, I was reading another article on here the other day, was from teh Cincy equivalent of Buffalo Rumblings, the Bengals offered him a multi year deal (but with not much guaranteed) so he took the shorter deal here with more guaranteed money, basically betting on himself
  3. LOL I wonder if that guy on the ring post missed the spot???
  4. That aint a buffalo, thats a bear with horns! WTF
  5. My dad is 73, played OL for Princeton for a year or two back in the 60's, he has had his meniscus repaired via surgery, but I think he would be an upgrade at this point. Should be well rested imo
  6. Interestingly enough, I think he is probably the best of the Qbs to start behind this horrible OL due to his mobility and size. That being said, I think we need to let Peterman take the lumps of the first few games at least (Balt, SD, Minnesota, all defenses that will destroy our OL) then bring him in if needed. He cant really learn how to play from the pocket if there is no pocket.
  7. I can kinda understand the desire not to change in the middle of a game, but we are talking about a one game fix (and likely partial game fix) where we could go out and sign a replacement if the guard that got hurt is out extended period of time for the following games. To me, that risk is less than risking not playing your best center.
  8. Aikman was 1-15 iirc and Manning was 3-13
  9. I dont get the swing thing means he cant start, if a guard gets hurt, move groy and bring bodine in, if groy gets hurt bring bodine in. Not sure why that means he cant start at C
  10. Lol I appreciate his insights, and to be fair when calls people and idiot, I tend to agree
  11. I come here to read both sides, however I find it that there are very few on the left here that post anything with the facts to back it up. I am not saying it doesnt happen, but it seems to be infrequent. I like to read debates, but it bothers me when certain posters are so intellectually dishonest. I dont bother to respond to them because they dont care what you have to say. I may not agree with everything Doc Brown or oldmanfan have to say, but I do believe they are not close minded individuals and are willing to listen to the other side. When I do post, I try to focus on the points being made rather than calling someone an idiot as all the name calling is just a distraction (minus the DC Tom's you're an idiot comments lol everyone is an idiot in his book : ) )
  12. The guy said he sounded like Sam Kinison, and I didnt recognize it at first but he was totally right!
  13. and we beat the chiefs in arrowhead last year
  14. Cliff notes version is expanded and large bureaucracy that is involved in many aspects of peoples lives (think government control on most things)
  15. Yeah I though in the Embedded video they had nice things to say about him, thought he would have made the roster. Any reason why he retired?
  16. I am surprised you didnt catch his self of steam reference either
  17. Sounds to me like you want a more robust military while having a less invasive government. I believe that is doable, but I also do not believe that equates to big government which I believe is there is an issue with your support of Kasich
  18. These things seem to be at odds no? Big government and less reach?
  19. If you are referring to oldmanfan, he was indybillsfan on BBMB, and iirc he teaches anatomy or something of the like at a university, but he can correct me if I am mistaken, thats just off the top of my head.
  20. the notification on my phone said his name was Christian Rivera and he is in the US illegally fwiw
  21. He was my top choice and hope he succeeds outside of when he is playing the bills
  22. The thing that stood out to me was Cris Carters comments about the long wind up, didnt sports science show that he has one of the fastest releases there is? Also, I am not sure who the other guy was, but basically he is using what peoples perceptions were before the draft against him now, seems a lot like confirmation bias rather than analysis
  23. I did, i liked more of it, minus the ending, but I guess it somehow protects brock for when he leaves and comes back, but it also made strowman look like a chump But man that briefcase toss!
