Well done and very accurate @corta765. Let me just say there's not much I disagree with, except for a 1 pt spelling deduction. Not making a greater effort to land BTJ will forever haunt this team. I'm sorry but I have my serious doubts about Coleman and Kincaid moving forward. I don't know if Brady can properly use 12 personnel. And Keon may be a funny dude but his inability to separate is hilarious. Another playoff loss. Another "right on schedule" defensive let-down. I've never been as high on Greg or Ed as some are. They're good "not great" players who disappear too often. We desperately need game wrecking Dawgs like Garrett/Crosby. And we need monster DT's. Not these merry go round rotational jags.

I have absolutely no idea how Brady's offense will evolve? I think the use of so many receiving options helped but the everyone eats philosophy will get figured out. I still see great value in a field stretching X. BTJ would've been amazing. And it's not like we saw alot of separation throughout the season. Josh needs a reliable #1 WR he can finish his last 8+ years with. This organization owes him that much. And if Joe's system doesn't work with a true speed #1, then he better be prepared to figure it out.

That's probably pretty accurate

Like I've said for years. Their coaches are grown men. Ours are children still learning.
-
All BTJ would've cost us is Cole Bishop. The bottom line is Brandon is a collosal fail evaluating wrs and defensive talent. And those just happen to be our greatest weakness right now. Josh is only going to put up with this crap for so long.

Cooper Kupp leaving the Rams. Want him?

I agree, if we exhaust every scenario to land Garrett or Crosby, then just sign Higgins. Clearly we suck at drafting wrs and Dlineman. -

It Goes Back to 13 Seconds, Doesn't It?

There are already tons of Bills fans who have both accepted and embraced this truth. -
He's needed a deep threat wr since day 1. And besides a brief time with John, he's had every other type except the X. BTJ would've been the perfect long term X for Josh but Brandon was too timid to make the move. Coleman will never have the speed to play this position and Higgins $ needs to go toward a DE. So we gotta hope we can find an exceptional wr in the 4th or 5th round.

Maybe we should copy the Seahawks old approach?

Bend don't break works all day long during the regular season against weaker opponents. You might even get away with it against a 6 or 7 seed w/c team. But divisional round and on it's a joke thinking it'll work. I get it, Mahomes is a freak who releases the ball in 2.2 seconds. I still believe that in order for McDermott's "not so great" defensive philosophy to work, you gotta start at the DL. Sean has had 8 full seasons and drafts to find 1 great or elite Dlineman. And he's failed. The desperate Von signing validated that failure. So now I honestly expect the Bills to amp up the DL upgrade search with a bolder and more expensive move than the Von signing. It's full steam ahead for Garrett or Crosby. -
Hard to beat the Chiefs and the refs every post-season

I used to think the league was interested in recreating a Brady v Manning rivalry. But that narrative I think is dead and buried. -
Yup, basically what we've failed to do these last 7 years.

This interview never gets old. So true. You can't sue an entertainment league for "massaging" their own games. This isn't fixing...it's revenue management. -

They will probably never gravitate to honest transparency by using technology because it would 100% eliminate their ability to control their game. This is their game, their revenue and their marketing. We will always be at the mercy of this obvious narrative. And there's not a damn thing we can do about it because we're lemmings returning to these same games every year. No matter how bad we get screwed. -
Yes the game was as close as it can possibly get. Both statistically and scoring. So when 2 teams are that evenly matched, it will always come down to coaching and officials. We got 6 documented bad spots. The Worthy/ Bishop catch could've been called 3 different ways. We had twice as many penalty yards as KC. And Reid/ Spags again outcoached Sean and his boys all day. When a game is expected to be that close KC (-1.5) you are 100% guaranteed to get beat by refs and the opposing coaching staff.
-
Well if nothing else I think the odds of us getting one of these 2 guys went up substantially today. And I'd be ecstatic with either guy.
-
I used to be a huge "draft based on needs" guy. Now I realize that based on Brandon's weakness in drafting defensive players, it doesn't work anymore. From here on out for this team to even survive you must take a BPA philosophy. We absolutely can't afford anymore swing & misses on guys like Elam, AJE, Basham. And who knows if guys like Kincaid, Coleman or Bishop pan out?
-
I will never forgive this front office for not making a more concerted effort to land BTJ. It would've cost us Cole Bishop....that's it....whoop de doo....

He'll get 10M/ yr from somebody. It also wouldn't surprise me to see McB trade up a little in the 1st for Revel. -
Sometimes I picture Sean pretending to be the Mandalorian saying " this is the way ".....🤣 In all seriousness, McB doesn't have the chops to find great (not even elite) Dlineman. So he's forced to rotate Jags for 4 quarters. I guarantee you this will continue till he's replaced, which at this point will be never.
