There's no one better available. And yes he's a top 10-12 ranked overall coach. I think Ben Johnson would've looked real good on our sidelines with a new DC face. Maybe bring Schwartzy back? But all that is history and wasted speculation. I am encouraged that recent defensive coaching additions could finally lead to a change in D philosophy. Maybe Sean will do something I thought was never possible. Consider adjusting his scheme. Maybe look at a different style of D players with emphasis on speed & strength. This doesn't mean our coaches won't terrify me come playoff time. We're never going to have that calm confidence that someone like Andy exudes. But at least on Day #12, we can scream with pride for our 1st QB MVP!

Just remove the "V". This award is all about stats and preconceived feelings between both guys. The AP voters who were insistent that Josh would fail from 2017 on will never admit they were wrong. They'll always vote under that narrative.

And there lies the greatest problem. Starting with the owner (Terry) and down to his 2 hand picked leaders (Sean & Brandon). I think Terry could care less about ever going to a SB. I think Sean and Brandon have protection and job security as long as Josh is here. He guarantees the organization playoffs every year. I'm sure Josh has a completely different idea of success then these 3 do.

Von was 33 when we signed him. That was risky & foolish. Myles just turned 29 and Maxx is 27. These dudes are substantially younger. Beane's ability to find high draft pick defensive talent has to be questioned. Go after known commodities.

That interception of his in Josh's perfect game might be the best Bills int I've ever witnessed. He will be so very missed.

So Beane is terrified to do business with Miami @ 21 but he has no problem helping KC, got it. The Dolphins would've easily taken our 2nd round pick. This whole narrative that we didn't do it because we didn't have a 3rd round pick is bs.

Well done and very accurate @corta765. Let me just say there's not much I disagree with, except for a 1 pt spelling deduction. Not making a greater effort to land BTJ will forever haunt this team. I'm sorry but I have my serious doubts about Coleman and Kincaid moving forward. I don't know if Brady can properly use 12 personnel. And Keon may be a funny dude but his inability to separate is hilarious. Another playoff loss. Another "right on schedule" defensive let-down. I've never been as high on Greg or Ed as some are. They're good "not great" players who disappear too often. We desperately need game wrecking Dawgs like Garrett/Crosby. And we need monster DT's. Not these merry go round rotational jags.

I have absolutely no idea how Brady's offense will evolve? I think the use of so many receiving options helped but the everyone eats philosophy will get figured out. I still see great value in a field stretching X. BTJ would've been amazing. And it's not like we saw alot of separation throughout the season. Josh needs a reliable #1 WR he can finish his last 8+ years with. This organization owes him that much. And if Joe's system doesn't work with a true speed #1, then he better be prepared to figure it out.
