  1. I'm figuring we'll get to around 35-37 under the cap after cuts, walks and restructure. Our picks will be 1, 2, 2, 4, 4, 5, 5, 6, 6, 6. I totally appreciate the argument that Pat gets rid of the ball in 2.2 seconds. And that truth definitely needs to be factored in high on the list of who we can realistically target. I'm still a big proponent for going after Maxx over Myles. He'd be less costly from draft capital and salary. And he's a year and a half younger. And as I brought up back in December that his partner Malcolm Koonce is also available in FA. These 2 guys are going to take up at least 80% of our cap. And that's OK. But the D starts at the front 4. Everything trickles down from there. Sure I'd love a great db like Reed or Ward? But I'm drawing a line in the sand starting with the DL.
  2. So true, the MVP is NOT a stats award. It should go to the most Valuable player in the league based on his surrounding players. And yes win and playoff seeding should be factored in. As Orlovsky said accurately, if it was only about best stats (like all pro voting), then voters would not be necessary. You could simply allow a computer to kick out the results. I think several voters finally factored in "poor playoff" fatigue from Lamar. The bottom line was Josh was long overdue. As Saturday said, he should have won it last year. And also just came up short in 2020 where Aaron had 51 total tds to Josh's 45.
  3. When you're comparing 2 athletic running qbs vying for an MVP, how can you not use QBR as your #1 foundational stat? Qb Rating is a joke in today's modern scrambling qb. Josh earned this award and an argument could easily be made he should’ve been in the top 2 last year. Unfortunately there's still the never ending narrative from the butt hurt media who insisted Josh would fail out of Wyoming.
  4. One of the most authentic human beings to put on a Bills uniform. So happy for our Cyborg...Unicorn...Alien.
  5. There's no one better available. And yes he's a top 10-12 ranked overall coach. I think Ben Johnson would've looked real good on our sidelines with a new DC face. Maybe bring Schwartzy back? But all that is history and wasted speculation. I am encouraged that recent defensive coaching additions could finally lead to a change in D philosophy. Maybe Sean will do something I thought was never possible. Consider adjusting his scheme. Maybe look at a different style of D players with emphasis on speed & strength. This doesn't mean our coaches won't terrify me come playoff time. We're never going to have that calm confidence that someone like Andy exudes. But at least on Day #12, we can scream with pride for our 1st QB MVP!
  6. A great night to be an Allen: Josh MVP Jared HOF Eric HOF
  7. Well what do you know....the word Valuable still means something.
  8. We're getting one of these 2 dudes. Just don't know which one?
  9. I love 3 but can we finally put to bed the Hamlin saga.
  10. Yes, I vaguely remember this happening last year. It shut off right after the red carpet stuff. No biggie, I'll watch the re-runs. Go finally get your much deserved hardware Josh.
  11. Blacked out in LA / DTV
  12. Let me know how it goes. Apparently DTV blacks out this live show every year. Some NFL agreement bs.
  13. Since when does DTV blackout this show?
  14. I bet his balls are inflated
  15. Not until I see hardware. I realized these last few years we were supposed to get to a SB. How'd that work out? I think I used to shop at polymarket. It was in a strip mall.
  16. Just remove the "V". This award is all about stats and preconceived feelings between both guys. The AP voters who were insistent that Josh would fail from 2017 on will never admit they were wrong. They'll always vote under that narrative.
  17. We're perpetually stuck with inferior coaches that will screw up just enough in a close playoff game to help us lose. Year in....year out... No way we'd be as entitled or smug as some of these chief kingdom slugs. Too late now. Patrick has clearly been chosen as the new Brady goat. He and his team will get the borderline calls till he retires.
  18. Koonce & Crosby would be a dream combo. No way the Raiders trade us both.
  19. And there lies the greatest problem. Starting with the owner (Terry) and down to his 2 hand picked leaders (Sean & Brandon). I think Terry could care less about ever going to a SB. I think Sean and Brandon have protection and job security as long as Josh is here. He guarantees the organization playoffs every year. I'm sure Josh has a completely different idea of success then these 3 do.
  20. Von was 33 when we signed him. That was risky & foolish. Myles just turned 29 and Maxx is 27. These dudes are substantially younger. Beane's ability to find high draft pick defensive talent has to be questioned. Go after known commodities.
  21. That interception of his in Josh's perfect game might be the best Bills int I've ever witnessed. He will be so very missed.
  22. Good Lord, sweeten the pot...be aggressive...Miami did not need a wr and we did. And as far as I'm concerned Beane should always be ridiculed for doing ANY business with KC (up or down).
  23. So Beane is terrified to do business with Miami @ 21 but he has no problem helping KC, got it. The Dolphins would've easily taken our 2nd round pick. This whole narrative that we didn't do it because we didn't have a 3rd round pick is bs.
  24. Good video...whether you believe in pff or not, they're spot on in their analysis. We expect Josh to do it all. And we're never getting to a SB with this yearly pathetic defense.
