  1. All very realistic except holding the Lions to 13 pts. 27 year old Bruce Smith would have to be reincarnated into Von's body. Beating Detroit is realistic but more like 42-38 kind of game.
  2. 1. Josh 2. Cook 3. Shakir 4. OL 5. Benford
  3. ...or a Paul Pierce coming out of the tunnel in a wheelchair. Then ready to play 10 minutes later.
  4. Yes, 3/ 34.5 Probably can't get out till after next season according to Spotrac. Some of that paper could've gone toward a pass rusher. Oh well, the current wr room is in very good shape.
  5. It's been a long time since I've felt this optimistic about our OL. Both starters and depth.
  6. They should fear sitting him. They've been sneaking by close games with luck, Mahomes and superior coaching. And as @Rocbillsfan1 just accurately said, you can't believe anything they say. I hope it is a more serious high ankle and they're dumb enough to play him v Houston? Lots of speculation and misinformation/smoke screens to sift thru?
  7. Yup, these are exactly my reasons. 1. Terrible defense 2. Probably no bye week 3. Sean's game management mistakes 4. Bass ...somewhere between 40-50% chance just to make it to a SB.
  8. Mahomes is the definition of a drama queen. He lives off the sympathy of his supporters when he hobbles off the field. It's exactly like Paul Pierce letting the world see him in a wheelchair so he can soak in the concern. Then 15 minutes later he's magically healed and running around like the poser that he is. Mahomes is no different. Josh isn't a poser nor is he wired like that.
  9. I guess the Ravens are panicking not having Lame win another MVP. They gotta resort to make stuff up.
  10. I agree...everyone plays week 16/17 at home but I'm resting most everyone in NE. That will be our playoff bye.
  11. I'm 65...I remember every snap Bruce made...Josh beats him easily.
  12. It's pretty much over. Josh could finish with 3 ho-hum games and still easily win MVP. Couldn't happen to a nicer guy and long overdue.
  13. I think we can finish 3-0 w/o having to play every single starter. Maybe selectively rest a few players each game. Now that the playoffs and basically the 2 seed should be secure, we can have the luxury of a little load management.
  14. ....this narrative is also true.
  15. Nobody intentionally devices a defense that can only stop weaker qbs / offenses. But unfortunately the way Sean's scheme is designed, that's the end result. Without a strong pass rush, stronger veteran qbs can exploit this style. You can't ignore 79 points over the last 2 teams. Playoff caliber teams with savy veteran qbs.
  16. Maybe but the Packers & Rams will have a say.
  17. Victory Monday & Tuesday. Put these guys in a sauna till Wed.
  18. I thought the Dline played admirable in the 1st half, especially Oliver. The 2nd half was very disappointing.
  19. The backup safeties definitely struggled today. Lewis & Bishop looked lost. We gotta get Rapp back and Milano/ Hyde up to speed by playoff time.
  20. I agree...those were 2 of the best onside kicks I've seen in a long time. We were fortunate on both. The ball did ricochet off Taron's helmet just a fraction before the guy hit him.
  21. To be fair and most of you know I'm not a big McD fan, it would be incredibly disingenuous to think that Sean didn't have a part in every player selected. That's why I use the McB acronym when talking about all our picks. I think it's always been a duo mutual agreement by both men. With that said Sean should get credit for finally rebuilding our oline with Brown, Torrence and Edwards. He should get credit for what we have now as an amazing RB trio. And let's not forget that these 2 guys mutually picked Josh over Rosen which would've been a historical disaster of epic proportions. Not every pick is perfect but these 2 deserve their props. And he should get credit for seeing Dorsey's issues and replacing him with Brady. I think Josh absolutely loves playing for Sean & Joe. Now we all patiently wait for him to find an elite pass rusher as we try and tolerate the game managing issues. That's really his one and maybe only big flaw.
  22. Not one target all game. I guess it's safe to say we won't be signing him after the season. With Coleman and Kincaid back, I guess Joe & Josh are rolling with the regulars.
  23. After the automatic 3, I'm giving game balls to Ed Oliver (9 pressures) and Ty Johnson huge plays in the first half.
  24. ....after today we'll have to with Milano and Williams getting injured. Hopefully they're minor. Spector looked awful out there today. Like "AJ Klein on vacation" level awful.
  25. ...it wouldn't surprise me...without an elite game wrecking pass rusher everything bad flows downstream. I'm proud of Brady, Josh and this entire offense keeping us in the game these last 2 weeks against quality playoff caliber NFC teams. Besides Ed playing amazing today, the defensive injury train showed up right on schedule. As it does every year.
