Yeah, that was the sorry-est pass rush of the whole game.

Divisional Round, Ravens v. Bills, GAME BALLS!
LABILLBACKER replied to Freddie's Dead's topic in The Stadium Wall
Milano Hamlin Bass Oliver Honorable Mention: OL Von (fumble) Bernard (fumble) .....someday I'd like to be giving out gameballs to WRS & TE's?? Hear that Brady. -
Monken is already the highest paid OC in the league at 3M. And he'll likely get a HCing job. Eventually MVP voters have got to become exhausted over Lamar's inability to go deep in the playoffs. Those 2 turnovers cost them the game.

Revisiting our Bass confidence levels
LABILLBACKER replied to TheBrownBear's topic in The Stadium Wall
Bass was absolute money tonight. Made them short, made them long in cold weather. And they were straight and centered. My confidence level has definitely risen. -
Don't laugh...he just might be activated. This is exactly why we brought him in. Hamlin might be the worst rated blitzing safety in the entire NFL. Just stop Babich and go with Milano or Bernard.

We should've challenged the spot. The ball was on the 1 when Josh's knee first touches on the slide. It was one of many inaccurate spots by these guessing refs.

Was not a fan of the call. Game over if we score a td there. Believe in Josh's intelligence to roll out and throw or run. He's not throwing an int there. If it's incomplete, then kick the fg which was 200% the right call by Sean. The 3rd down play was ass. I would have even tolerated a tush. Maybe we score? or get it marked inside the 1? Gives you alot more options. I'm waiting for clever new plays from Brady that never seem to come. This is his playbook and he's exhausted all his plays.

We've been saying this for 2 months? Either Brady refuses to scheme him or there's a problem with him and the coaches. It's kinda hard for Josh to establish chemistry with a guy we never target? I'm afraid this has become a wasted 3rd.

Lets talk complementary football and the 2nd half
LABILLBACKER replied to appoo's topic in The Stadium Wall
If that's our strategy, especially with a lead then we're in deep trouble. KC won't be dropping balls all over the place. It's not realistic to expect your run game to fire off 5 yards per play on 1st down. Especially against the #1 run D. Foolish strategy and we dodged a bullet today. -
Lets talk complementary football and the 2nd half

Last I checked the Ravens have the #1 run defense and #31 pass defense. Brady: " let's run it down their throats".....and ignore their greatest weakness????? -

Someone send a memo to Babich to stop blitzing up the middle. These various players (other than Milano) either fall over each other or get sucked into the wash. They never find slots, except Milano. -
They have 2 championships. We have none. They had a very good season and hats off to Lamar. But you'll have to excuse me if I don't fawn all over them.

Those first 2 offensive series in the 3rd quarter were abominations. Brady knew their weakness was pass coverage and he forced runs or behind the LOS throws that were terrible calls. Even the 3rd & goal from the 2 should've been at least 1 tush push. Brady was terrible today.

Sorry but no one can convince me that Brady didn't crap the bed in the 2nd half. Especially in the 3rd quarter. What's the point of double dipping if your OC crawls into a conservative hole. The defense wasn't perfect but the importance of "take-aways" that Sean has instilled in his guys has been absolutely brilliant. It saved us today. Brady figure it out between interviews. -
They aren't saving him for anything. They've struggled to get him involved since day 1. Brady has no clue what to do with him. I don't know who the next OC will be, but Josh deserves someone like what Spags gives KC. Someone offensively competent who will stick around 5 years. That was the worst called 2nd half I've ever seen from Brady.
-
Again, Brady and all his predecessors have struggled to scheme up much. Cooper should've been used against the #31 pass defense. Brady decided to throw all the analytics out the door and run right at Baltimore's strength. And it damn near cost us the game.

That FG Decision by McDermott
LABILLBACKER replied to SageAgainstTheMachine's topic in The Stadium Wall
Sean was brilliant and Brady came out of halftime like a moron. He damn near cost us this game. Since the day Josh was drafted, he's yet to have a competent offensive coach. He's gotta do it all physically and mentally. -
What Brady did in that 3rd quarter was unbelievably stupid and egregious. Even on the 3rd & goal from the 2, it should have been a tush push. So incredibly grateful for that W, but Brady made Josh work 10x harder than he had to. Lost a ton of faith in Brady tonight. Time to call your own plays Josh.
