  1. I would try to deal Edmunds for a 2nd. We’d probably get laughed at and have to settle for a 3rd. Take that 3rd, our 30, next year’s 1st, and maybe that could get you within striking range of a great player. I’m all about the idea of trading him and drafting his replacement but we aren’t getting better value than where we drafted him at. Pitts won’t make it past 5.
  2. If Collins or the Miami DE or Harris, etc. makes it to 26, Edmunds could *possibly* get us there. We aren’t getting anywhere near Pitts.
  3. You think that the 30 pick plus Edmunds is getting us up to 10???? Lol. That wouldn’t even get us up to 26.
  4. This is what the draft would look like if we don’t move up. So if you don’t like it, a move up is required.
  5. Who is that impact player tho? There wasn’t much to choose from in this free agency period. I don’t really view Ertz as an impact signing.
  6. Exactly! If I’m the Ravens I’m looking for any excuse to dump Jackson. The decision to pay him isn’t just about the player, it’s about also being handcuffed to the offense and their coordinator for many years.
  7. I’m not convinced that he’s trade able. We wouldn’t get more than a 3rd. But if it was included in a larger trade maybe it could happen. We aren’t going to pay both so what do you do? The decision doesn’t get any easier after next season and his stock might not get higher than it is right now.
  8. Wouldn’t the drop-off in QB play be worth all of that future cap space? Teams could start doing this.
  9. Or possibly use him and a few picks to move up. When they paid Milano that told me that they’re at least thinking about it. Then many here said the Bills were “all in” on Edmunds which I think is nonsense. I guess we’ll see.
  10. Yeah, I got attacked for saying that a month ago. They could be trying to move him to save face on the pick itself. If we get something good in return, no one will care.
  11. Well at least they’re recognizing the problem at the LB position. They just paid 1 LB. The problem must be the other guy. His name is escaping me.
  12. He just jumps on the pile after the whistle like Edmunds?
  13. That’s kinda how I feel about him too. He seems like a one-trick pony similar to Spiller and speed doesn’t always translate well. Give me the big guy. We definitely need more than a “water bug” or whatever Chan called it.
  14. Which one will bust? Definitely Fields. They both could actually. None of these guys are very good. Moving Darnold is a huge mistake. if I were the Steelers, I’d be on the phone trying to get Darnold.
  15. But what if he has a breakout season and we move on from Edmunds?
  16. That’s our guy! Unfortunately Beane is moving up to 26 to get him.
  17. But I was told by this board there’s never been a leak. Any leak was on purpose due to “wizardry” by Beane.
  18. We know nothing because he’s a “wizard” correct?
  19. We likely have 2 plans in place. There’s probably 2-3 players that we’d feel obligated to move up to 26 for. If those players are gone, I suspect we’d move down and take the RB from NC, but then trade back up and take another player shortly after.
  20. Good point. It’s the only position we’ve heard zero about. Who is the best one at 30?
  21. The Panthers were huge favorites in that game. Denver had quite possibly the worst offense to ever play in a SB that year. That was when Manning could only throw the ball about 10 yards downfield and it took an hour to get there. The Panthers looked like world beaters in those first 2 playoff games. I remember thinking those were the most dominating victories I’d ever seen. It didn’t end well.
  22. I guess I would just feel a lot better if McD handed over those duties to a “proven” coordinator and scheme, and I hope it happens sooner than later or I fear we’ll all be having these same discussions next offseason.
