Biden and the crises er challenge on the border
Governor replied to Unforgiven's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Looks like someone wants to run the 2016 election again. Sorry boys, that definitely isn’t going to happen. ”One trick ponies” is what I think of when the right tries to manufacture issues at the border. Donald was the ultimate one trick pony. He played a “victim.” -
Warren Sharp analysis on Bills draft needs
Governor replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I would still go ahead and draft WR if it’s BPA. I doubt that happens. We’re moving up for someone. Could it be Barmore? -
The Carolinas have pretty poor education. My gf was a teacher there and just moved back to NJ. I was able to sit in on their virtual classes in both states. It’s night and day difference. Places like Florida, Missouri, the South, etc. Ya, it’s not good at all. A lot of it has to do with parenting. I mean, take a look around. We have adults that believe wild conspiracy theories and can’t tell real news from fake. They don’t even teach Civics anymore. We have 3 generations now that really have no idea how anything works in this country. Look at what our “elder” poster pastes here each day. Poor guy is all twisted around. He believes an election was “stolen” from him. He actually knows better. He’s just trying to trick young people and he’s addicted to polarizing fake news. I was actually the last class to have “Civics” in elementary school. So, if you’re younger than 45, you were a victim of Reagan’s “dumbing down of America.” That happened in his term. Civics was merged with Social Studies and didn’t get very much attention. You should look up “A Nation at Risk.”

SI: The Unrivaled Arrival of Trevor Lawrence
Governor replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
That doesn’t surprise me at all. I used to live in Greenville right by Bob Jones University and I’ve never seen any other place quite like that. People pray on their lunch breaks at work and if you don’t join them, you become an outcast pretty quick. We really liked the area itself but it became a little much for us after a year. -

Why can't Brandon Beane get the defense right?

I smell conspiracy! -
Yeah, I think we should be proactive about this. Just fix it already. Either take a 3rd or use him to move up a few spots and be done with it.

Convert him to safety.

There was a commercial on NFL network a few weeks back that showed Edmunds just shoulder-bumping a RB that runs right by him. He didn’t even extend his arms to make the tackle. If the guy is THAT injured, he shouldn’t be on the field. If people claim his regression is due to injury, they’re actually saying our coaching is bad. EDIT: I didn’t mean to quote myself. Lol.

They tell you if a person can “retain” information and that’s needed for someone who’s supposed to be the “QB of the defense.”

I forgot that he was the 16th pick. OMG. No wonder they aren’t ready to admit that mistake yet.

Motor won’t be the starter when this team goes to a SB, because we won’t make it to one if he is. -
Actual Nazis, not imaginary ones.
Governor replied to Unforgiven's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
This country has a victim complex. In the last decade it’s mostly come from the right, but recently the left has been doing it also. Everywhere you look now you see it. Everything is “some one else’s” fault. I’ve been oppressed by some “other” group. I’m this way because “this group” was mean to me. I have no idea where it came from. -
Georgia election laws and MLB
Governor replied to Orlando Buffalo's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
In 2000, I lived in Cobb County and that was mostly white and Hispanic. I’m not exactly sure if the demographics have changed all that much since then but the political leanings sure did. That’s a purple and sometimes blue district now. Thst was Newt Gingrich’s old district! So much has changed. -

Decisions like that aren’t made unless they can make money.....or at least not lose money.
