You recently elected a White Nationalist. We “thought” we were moving forward on racism but 8 years of Obama was just a bridge too far and they had to remind us that they were still there and not going away without a fight.

Right, so businesses were destroyed. Now you’re telling that it matters HOW those businesses were destroyed? Oh, I think I’m getting it now. It’s the WHO that matters to you. Hmm. On a side note, you guys really need to make up your minds. First it was “screw the blue states” but now we’re supposed to be outraged about businesses in blue cities. Make up your minds already!

You say it’s a bad comparison. So are you saying that city damage and looting was worse than the entire Jersey shore being wiped off the map? I thought it was a favorable comparison since your event was tiny in comparison.
-
You attacked that man for years for giving that black man a hug. Lol.
-
Where were you and Tucker when the whole Jersey coast was wiped off the map during that hurricane? Mom and Pops didn’t seem to matter all that much then. In fact, every southern state voted against giving aid to NJ to rebuild the coast and all of those businesses. Poor Chris Christie had to go give Obama a hug to get that money and you all attacked him for it.

It’s victimhood. That’s the only card left to play. Somehow, we’re supposed to be convinced that we should hold up progress in the entire country to prevent a few businesses from being looted. There would still be slavery in this country if the majority agreed with these people.

You mean that if that actually happened? Theres 3 people that should be concerned with vandalism at your city CVS. 1. The owner of CVS 2. District manager in that region. 3. Store manager of that particular store. Not a single citizen should be concerned with that. It isn’t even a news story.

Had one for years. I was also a manager at Publix in 2 states.

The entire country is on drugs. Anti-depressants and anxiety meds are extremely potent drugs handed out to anyone that requests them.

If you get the time you should check out the rest of that sub. There’s children crying out for help because their loved ones/parents have lost their minds from the right’s propaganda machine. Real lives are being destroyed. It’s time for the nation to do something about it. It’s a mental health crises.

The Next Pandemic: SARS-CoV-2/COVID-19
Governor replied to Hedge's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
No. I’m actually interested in purchasing tickets from those who won’t be allowed entry. Last minute is fine also. I only need 1 day notice so no rush. -

Georgia election laws and MLB
Governor replied to Orlando Buffalo's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Yes. When the schools started addressing bullying, the social workers and school shrinks went from simply trying to protect people being bullied to launching attacks on the bully. They gather around the person being bullied and use that victimhood to destroy the bully. Those tactics are just expanded to the Twitterverse and pretty much everywhere you look these days. -

Do you know where that behavior started? Bullying in schools. It just expanded throughout our entire culture. We went from trying to protect victims, to using that victimhood and attacking others. -
No problem has a one size fits all fix. Personally, I’d be just fine paying higher taxes if I knew that we had a really high quality police force that wasn’t constantly bidding on new toys that aren’t necessary. I think Troopers in NJ make like 80/year. I’d give them a modest bump. Cops in the south make like 17 bucks an hour. I wouldn’t take that job. I would double the pay of an officer in any southern state.

I get what you’re saying but the manufactured anger and outrage over looting is just an auto-response that I’ve heard my entire life. Now, if people were going into random people’s homes and kicking their dog, punching their wife in the face, and pooing on their kitchen floor, I’d be right there with you, but I just have a really hard time believing that people are genuinely outraged that a few retailers are broken into and some plastic items(that are insured) go missing. So to me, the threats about looting seem to be more about control.

Pat Robertson is right but the training also needs to be fixed. There’s also way too many cops. They aren’t needed. You could lay off 1/4 of the cops in this country and no one would notice. Pay the ones they keep. We need to make the job attractive again and you do that with higher pay. Hire smarter people. We can’t just keep hiring anyone who’s ex-military. The police aren’t soldiers. We shouldn’t be making all of them jail/prison guards either. It only perpetuates the broken system that we’re about to dismantle and clean up. We also don’t need the fire departments showing up to every single tiny incident and then requesting/demanding bullet proof vests because they’re showing up to every single incident. I don’t know who’s bright idea that was and when that started, but it needs to be fixed. No more toys! We’ll call you when there’s a fire! “I think the problem is they’ve got to pay them more,” he said. “We don’t have the finest in the police department. They’re low-paid people… it’s not a question of training, it’s a question of hiring a more superior workforce, and we aren’t doing it.” “But we need police, we need them, and we need to honor them, and I’m all for it, but at the same time, we cannot have a bunch of clowns running around who are underpaid and who really are not the best and brightest,” Robertson concluded.

I expected the crew that likes murdering civilians to jump on that one. That only took like 1 minute.
