Gameday Thread Titans @ Chiefs AFC Title

your right. mahomes, Chiefs and Bills will always be linked in the narrative. you won’t be able to tell Mahomes story (if it becomes all time great) without mentioning the Buffalo Bills trading pick. -
again I’ve got nothing to complain about because it’s not really a big deal. But I couldn’t just say the first time Allen throws for 60% in his life will be the first time in his life. i don’t like to just post things without the facts. I needed to actually backed up with the numbers. So when I say the next time Allen throws for 60% in a season will be his first time you can believe it because I just posted the stats of his entire life of playing organized football

Championship Sunday PreGame Thread

All about the Legacy and History angle. 49ers looking to tie Pats and Steelers for most Super Bowl wins with 6. Rodgers looking to go and cement his All Time Status with a 2nd Ring. Chiefs would mark 50th Anniversary since last super bowl title. probably in that order -
High School 2011 2012- 59% 2012-2013 - 50% 2013-2014 - 57% Junior College 2015 - 49% College 2016 - 56% 2017 - 56.3% NFL 2018 - 52.8% 2019 - 58.8% The next time Josh is over 60% will be the first time. okay to be fair he DID throw 6 passes in his first season with Wyoming and completed 4 of them for a 66.7%. ????

Won’t work. Romo and Nantz have wonderful chemistry. Nantz by the book, academic style clash so perfectly with Romos make it up as you go commentary. As the “voice” of the MASTERS, Nantz is engrained in the public subconscious as the astute, professional. Which works in perfect contrast to Romo the “celebrity” playboy. And no commentary can mAke bad games good. And MNF games are snooze fests. And does ESPN get the Super Bowl? I thought it was just CBS, FOX and NBC. So Romo would take himself out of the rotation for biggest game of the season. Not worth it.

Teams real starting QBs. Buffalo was 2-6 against them and 8-0 against backups. I broke this down in another thread but here this is how I see it. You may agree or disagree. Buffalo vs. Starting/Franchise QBs Darnold - Win Brady - Loss. Loss Wentz - Loss Mayfield - Loss Prescott - Win L. Jackson - Loss D. Watson - Loss 2-6 Record Buffalo v Back-Up/Benched QBs E. Manning - Win A. Dalton - Win M. Mariota - Win R. Fitzpatrick - Win, Win D. Haskins - Win B. Allen - Win D. Hodges - Win 8-0 Record **Will omit the Jets/Bills Week 17 Game as Allen didn’t play**

Rodgers!!!!!!!! ? Same dude. Just much more of a reader than a poster these days.

Let’s go Aaron! State Farm Super Bowl still alive!
-
oh there has to be. Watson is a beast and he’s only in his 3rd season. The offense is going to be fine as long as he is healthy.
-
51! Keep it rolling!

For the sake of the Super Bowl...I know who I will be rooting for.
-
He wasn’t here for year one though. only consistent through it all has been Coach McDermott. I mean he’s a defensive minded conservative coach. why should I t be a surprise he doesn’t have a dangerous offense? He Almost perfectly fits the mold as what he is.
-
ehhh. 3 years of McDermott offenses. Averaging around 18.5 per game (and that’s being kind considering that counts ST and defensive touchdowns). I mean...bloom is off the rose, cards on the table. Coach McDermotts offenses just don’t sing baby. (Unless they play Miami.)
-
I mean...the only other option is falling asleep in some 6-3 barn burner. i choose the stay awake option!

Don’t adjust your TV Screens! It is true NFL Teams are allowed fo score 20+ points in a game! ?

Don’t envy the Vikings having had to pick between Zimmer and Stefsnski. On one hand you had Stefanski who has been a Vikings Lifer. Word was that if the Vikings lost in New Orleans, Vikings were going to give serious consideration to firing Zimmer and promoting Stefanski, just based on how much interest was starting to build for his HC Services. Understandable, you just don’t like to lose top end talent. But alas, Vikings won and they couldn’t really fire Zimmer now. No choice but had to lose Stefanski. Well road to Super Bowl in AFC just got tougher.

Well if Patriots don’t want him...we could use at least one player on this offense with a pulse and who knows how to make it happen when it needs to happen.

CBS compares Bills to Bears

In all the euphoria of making the Playoffs...it really did get lost to the ease of the Bills 2019 Opponents. at one point it was reported: Based on current DVOA, the Buffalo Bills are projected to finish with the easiest schedule faced by any defense ever. Their remaining schedule of opposing offenses is easier than New England's. Current record is 1992 Chargers (-10.9%). All that and most games still came down to final quarter. -
No pass for Allen on him being young. Allens contemporaries and their successes at the same age and experiences don’t give Allen the Lee-way to play the “green” card. i would more be willing to give Allen a pass based on being saddle with a Head Coach whose philosophies are just way conservative and whose history now shows he doesn’t know how to develop offenses to score points.
