When you factor in the drought… Bills Fan level of expectation/desperation for just “positive” Football… I just might bet McDermott will be the longest tenured coach in league eventually. and that woudl happen even without a Super Bowl win or even an appearance. psyche of this base was so beaten over 20 years…just competent competitiveness will be enough to secure a VERY long career in Buffalo for McDermott.

Not just to visit…but it was where we would go to roller blade sometimes and then set up the nets in front of the stadium and play a little hockey. That was probably late 90s when administration building was still in the back. and of course…learned to drive in the parking lots…but that was pretty common for many.

Do WR’s hate Lamar Jackson ?
RalphWilson'sNewWar replied to Teddy KGB's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Truth. the play before the pick 6. Ravens had a wide open target standing in the end zone. I think Lamar just didn’t have the time because Hughes got in there. Hughes takes .5 seconds longer to get there...it’s a tied game and who knows... -

I too don’t think it will make much difference overall in the regular season. 9-8 or 10-7. Take the South. But this really is not what this is about. It’s and endurance and physicality move predicated on having the most physical and aggressive trio of playmakers on the field when the temp drops below 30 and everyone’s bodies have gone through the gauntlet of the regular season. then you show up on a Sunday for division game or conference championship. and then ask the question...who wants to deal with this trio. I think I like this move for its singular thinking of how to make a great lineup for Playoff Game Single Elimination contests. -

This is a baller move with the focus on one thing. January Ball after a 17 game season. January Ball is Playoff Ball. The rules change. The field gets smaller, games get shorter, weather colder, defenses nastier, and league rules less called. Titans do this with an eye to be a physical force both with DHENRY running and now BROWN and JONES down the field. Its really Vrabel saying to the Opposing Defenses... “who wants to lower their shoulder into our guys after 4 months of ball. Who on your team is willing to sell out to bring our beasts down?” and for the DBs who try to put toss their weight on BROWN/JONES at the line...good luck mugging them. BUT And this is key to this strategy JONES has to stay healthy. And prove 2020 was just a fluke. -

I will take the 6’3 220 guy to still hold up after 17, 18, 19 games. And he’s not going to be getting rag dolled by DBs in the playoffs. When you get to January Ball...and the refs change the rules. 6’3 220 trumps 6’0 194 IMO -

Well well well this just reshaped some of the AFC Landscape for 2021. I like it... Somewhere on his his throne...D. Henry is smiling. -

Chiefs Media doesn’t need to ask Patty Mahomes. Vaccinated since April. but like he says, ‘it’s a personal decision.’ https://www.kmbc.com/article/kansas-city-chiefs-quarterback-patrick-mahomes-says-hes-taken-the-covid-19-vaccine-to-protect-daughter-sterling-skye/36165818# -
1. Chiefs 2. Browns 3. Bills
RalphWilson'sNewWar replied to Inigo Montoya's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Well that’s true. The Super Bowl is in February. 😉 I love the league is a passing league. But if I had to pick who I thought was better suited for the dirty muck of playoff football in January...when rules and climate def change...I think the Browns are because their offense can work both from the Run and the Pass. I think that defenses know...they anticipate Refs are going to let them play more in the playoffs...so that in some ways neutralizes a passing games attack. Ravens brought the pain and so did KC against Buffalo. And once the passing game was neutered, Buffalo really had no more bullets in the Gun to try to win any other way. I just think Browns are better suited to mix it up or switch between run and pass should the situation call for it. final point...I would say Buffalo is a Better Team too. Better Regular Season team. I just happen to think Browns built better for single game elimination in bad weather when rules loosen up. -

Things need to change if Bills want to somehow carry that passing attack into January. When the weather, the teams and Refs don’t play the same way they do on nice sunny day in early October. The tiny Bills WRs are healthy in October. The Refs throw that yellow early and often. Allen’s rockets go unimpeded through fresh calm air. But come the cold harsh realities of January...The tiny Bills WR are all limping on broken bodies...because based on their volume, you can’t honestly expect the tiny BILLS WR to stay healthy through 17-19 games. the Refs decide to pocket the yellow. Because no ref crew wants to be the story on Monday...leaving the opposing team more free reign to toss the tiny and injured Bills WRs around. Colts Game - 2/9 on 3rd Down Ravens Game - 4/13 on 3rd Down Chiefs Game - 5/14 on 3rd Down Bills were 4th in the regular season on 3rd down. Until they got to January Ball. when the rules changed...the physicality changed and the one dimensional offense was exposed. (Thank goodness for retiring Rivers and Lamar). overall my point is have have a choice over which team can win multiple ways I’m gonna take the Browns in January over the bills right now until the bills can show me they can stay healthy and more diverse in January. -

Browns just built for January Ball. More than Buffalo. One dimensional teams (no matter how good in the nice weather) just isn’t built for January Ball. -
Well someone started this thread. In a Bills Message Board no less. So...yeah....

Probably time to call it a career. And what a career it was when factoring in how it started, what the experts thought he could do versus what he actually did. Got the money, got the rings, got the MVP, and probably has enough upper tier stats for a WR in the Playoffs that will put him in the HOF conversation after a few ballots.

Well they definitely are stock piling in the position no Bills player or scheme can cover.

Can someone explain to me the Pats strategy?
RalphWilson'sNewWar replied to appoo's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Patriots don’t really need much. They went what? 7-9 with their whole defense opting out? They get them back. and it’s not like the AFC East is closed for business. BB has the sauce for Allen when a healthy roster. so it should be interesting. -
Carson Wentz to the Colts
RalphWilson'sNewWar replied to Brennan Huff's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Barley 300 and missed many more opportunities that a more athletic QB could have made both in the air and on the ground. With the formula Indy figured out to shut buffalo down on 3rd down...and the Dominant OLINE of Colts...had Rivers not been sub 60% and created a little with his legs. Indy was on their way to a east 40-45 point road victory that day. -

Colts are ready to roll. Competent QB play and in Bills Wild Card Game and they would have post 40+ on Bills Defense that day. They are ready to give KC a run. -

Well there it is. Colts ready to roll. Comeback Player of the Year for 2021 - Carson Wentz and probably a AFC Championship loss to Kansas City Chiefs. -
I picked Buffalo for 9 wins. But who knew how easy the 2020 schedule would pan out by the time the season started. Jets, almost went 0-16 Dolphins, journey man/rookie QB carousal Patriots, Covid opt outs, injuries and Newton. 49ers lost their whole roster Broncos, We’re awful. Thats 8 cupcake wins right there for any team with continuity. but didn’t see all those teams being as bad as they were when the games came along.

Oh man! it just keeps coming for Watson. he needs to get that parachute out of Houston pronto! -
See (I’m being a bit 😈 with this). But I have a hard time thinking Mahomes is a bad teammate over some vague lite quotes. When on the flip side...after Hardman fumbled and Buffalo scored the TD...Mahomes went over to Hardman pulled the jacket Hardman was hiding under off his head and told him “we’re good. Be you. Your gonna make a play.” and then Mahomes hit him for the 1st chiefs touchdown of the game a few minutes later. I mean... 🤷♂️
