they gave us a good game last season in Miami, didn’t they?

It was closer than the final 31-28 score.

dolphins got a no timeout under a minute TD and 2Pt to make it 31-28.

but maybe I recall it differently and it was a hard fought game.

  2. I was a Flores fan.

But we are all Bills fans…we all saw how literally lifeless the Dolphins were everytime they played Buffalo.

it is one thing to lose.  But those games…dolphins didn’t even show up.

You can’t have a head coach who is that bad at getting his team focused for big division games.

0-6 against Buffalo.  And I’m not sure a single one of them was close at all.

I do wonder if Flores was the hold up on the Watson deal…and only could keep his job if he made playoffs.

    You don’t want Watson…fine.

but you better make the playoffs.

    you didn’t make playoffs?!

    We are changing course.

  3. Lose faith in humanity every time you read fans reaction to stories like this.

An unnamed “source”, use that word lightly.  Floats completely unsubstantiated speculation into the airwaves.  People hear and/or read the headline.  And then respond as if it is fact.  Respond as if this story actually came from a press conference where Rodgers announced he would boycott.

    Why

    Are

    We

    De-Evolving?!  🤦‍♂️

Why are you allowing yourself to get dumber?!

You were 10 years old.  You couldn't have surely paid your dues.

Sure your parents didn't sneak you in for free? LoL... That's why you stood! And... Now want seats.😆

    Thank You... That'll be $0.05.

    😂. Still charging too much.

But I did say (a boat load of other games too).

It started in the early 90s and continued on thru for the next 30 years.  And even this season, went to another miserable game of cold weather and drunks blocking the view.

Just give a few sections to escape the drunks and/or standers.  Shouldn’t be a hard ask.

And I propose the opposite.  A section with only standing.  Not these Party Patios you see in other stadiums, a seating section with no seats.  You would still buy a ticket for a specific spot in the section, but all that would be there is like a small bar top at each row to sit your beer/drinks/food.

I remember getting a survey a few years ago. I think it was mostly season ticket holders that received the invite to it.

Or, just hear me out, all home games in the first half of the season, on the road the last half.

That’s fine too.  Just as long as in certain sections with seats…fans know that if they stand they will be asked to leave.

I'm sure a debate will happen, but that's not what this is meant for.  The poll was really what I was interested and what people were looking for in a new stadium overall.  The dome is just one of those hot topics within it

I saw this in the lightest way possible, but roughly how old are you?  I agree with what you're saying, except for standing in the lower level, but it does come off as very "Get off my lawn." 🙂

I’m in my late 30s.  Very fit and athletic.
I just hate standing and I hate the cold.

to be fair…I went to A LOT of games during the Super Bowl runs of the 90s.  I fought my cold weather wars 😂 and stood through out several playoff games and the entire Broncos vs. Bills AFC Championship game (along with a boat load of others)

Personally, I’m just done with it.  I really don’t want folks not to be able to stand.  But maybe there should be some sections (like non-smoking) where if you buy a seat, you use it.

  7. 1.)  Warm seats and warm environment for all home games.  The ability to wear one layer of clothing from august to January.

    2.). Good site lines.

3.)  Sections with a no standing policy during the game.  Your not a part of the team.  You standing isn’t helping the team play better or disrupting the opponent and you are simply forcing everyone behind you to stand and ruing their experience.

    Thank you!

Yep, Cleveland is stuck in QB purgatory right now, you built too good of a team to fail hard enough to get a good pick, but you don’t have the guy that can get you over the hump.  They are set up for years of 9-8, with the occasional glimmer of hope, maybe pulling off the 12 wins on a years when their NFC schedule is putrid and they will keep trying to find the one piece to get them over the hump.  Meanwhile, Cincy has a core that’s going to destroy them for years.   This is the problem with not having the right QB, we had it here for years, just good enough to never tank, never good enough to actually contend.  Baker is (at least the current version of him) the equivalent of a slightly stronger armed Fitzpatrick.  That’s to say, there are games where he’s great, but those costly mistakes when it comes to crunch time will kill you.  Look at Fitz with the Jets, as front runners he’d bury you, but there’s not a QB in the league you would rather face than Fitz and Now Baker late in the game, when they had to make it happen.

Jackson is essentially a modern Vick with less of an arm.  I think he also puts you in purgatory, but he also gives you chances that nobody else can.  I wouldn’t want him as my franchise, but once you have him, it’s next to impossible to let it go.  I could see him finding lightning in a bottle and winning a SB, but I really doubt it.  The D will have to be exceptional and the opponents will have to have the right weakness’s and a LOT will have to bounce their way for it to happen.

If Jackson were to catch that lightning and get 1 Super Bowl and then just be a realt good regular season QB who loses in the playoffs…

How much different would that make him than Aaron Rodgers or Drew Brees?  And a head of guys like Philip Rivers with what they were able to accomplish in their careers?

Folks here underrate Jackson.  It’s not his fault he was put in the Pro Bowl but the forever “chip on shoulder” Bills’ fans seem to hold it against him.  They love him in Baltimore, he won an MVP already and their entire offense is designed around him.  He’s definitely getting paid.

That said, it’s pretty amazing that Allen is the only QB from that heralded class who will be in the playoffs this year.  Amazing how everything transpired.

This appears to be very true.  Jackson in ways transcends the Sport.

Baltimore loves him.  His teammates love him.  The media, fans…

shoot, I’m not sure I see opposing defenders after a game give a QB more praise and attention at mid field (mind you after he beats them) then opponents give to Lamar Jackson.

Hes the face of the franchise and also (after DeShaun Watson issues) the main face for young black QBs in the league.

He is even in the Madden Documentary.

then you have his MVP and his winning %

Baltimore isn’t letting him go anywhere.

Generally accepted as the best HC in NFL history and has lead NE to 6 Super Bowl victories..........including one just 3 seasons ago..........but he deserves to be put under the microscope after dominating the NFL for 2 decades and winning 9 games this season and likely going to the playoffs with a rookie QB.

That's how it goes in big markets.

Sometimes I would like our Buffalo Media to be that cutthroat, just for entertainment value.  But other times it just doesn’t seem realistic when so many of our local media secretly want to or feel they are actually fans/part of the team.

  11. John Madden Football ‘93 - SEGA

    Oh Man. ❤️❤️❤️❤️.

Growing up a 90s Kid…it was Bills Football but also, Bills Football in the snow.

It was Thurman in the all whites playing in Cleveland or Candlestick or Buffalo or Los Angeles and having grass stains all over his jersey.

it was the old grass stadiums being turned into mud pits as the game played on.  Or cancelling the halftime show of the 1990 Dolphins playoff game so they could snow plow the field.

Madden ‘93 brought all those sites into my living room for the first time.  With Snow and field changing and uniform fatigue.

    Loved it.

Do teams that had players miss 2 games prior have a legitimate gripe, that they were put at a competitive disadvantage and that everyone should be forced to miss 10 days for fairness?

Doubt it matters, NFL wants it's stars to play and not have replacement level players in there like it was the strike shortened season in 1987

    Yes, they have gripes.

    But

    business, first

    entertainment, second

    sport/athletics, third

Results of Game do not matter in the slightest. We are all watching and continue watching.  No matter what.

  13. Rodgers (2020 MVP Season) - 16 Games

1st in TDs, Comp %, Rating and QBR

    2nd in Int %

    7th in yards

    51 - Total Touchdowns

    13-3 Record

    Rodgers (2021 Season) -15 Games

1st in Int %, Rating and QBR

    6th in TDs, Comp %
    10th in Yards

    36 - Total Touchdowns

    12-2 Record

being 1st in Rating and QBR and a potential 14-2 record might again lock it down for Rodgers.
