Chiefs get hit pretty hard with the cap next year. Also their entire offensive is built around two freak athletes one of which is nearing the later stages of his career. Aaron rodgers doesn’t have many years left regardless of where he goes. I think the bills are a legit Superbowl contender as long as Allen is around. Pats dolphins and jets are all committed to starting middling talent qbs because they drafted them early so we’ll always have good results in the division
Like for so many years it was either only Brady, Manning or Rothlesberger from the AFC…
I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s going to be Mahomes, Allen, Burrows, Herbert…every year just on a round Robin.
I would disagree on Rodgers…even if he has 3-4 seasons left…if he goes to the right team in AFC (maybe Broncos) … I would say that would be a major road block for the younger guys.

It’s start at the top. Working on the fundamentals. Player execution. Playing for each other, the guy next to you. Having that desire to win. Knowing the bad taste of defeat and not wanting that taste again.

This is what kills me, the Super Bowl was gift wrapped for the Bills if we just won this game. The Bengals? Really? Probably the Rams? It's never going to get easier than that and we blew it. Might as well give the Chiefs the trophy now.
Bengals/Rams games would probably have looked a lot like the Bills/Chiefs game.
Defense would have no answers for either opposing offense…Allen would have to put up 350-450 total yards and 3-4 TDs
And then maybe you win it in the final seconds or maybe you lose it.

Based on the layout of the Division … with all 3 of the others teams in a somewhat different stages of rebuilding/re-tooling/youth movement…Buffalo should at least be the favorite for the Division the next 2 seasons…
But, yes…when it comes to the Conference…that window is narrowing every second due to the overall talent of the other AFC QBs.
Mahomes is still lurking. Burrow has arrived. Herbert is nearly there. Lamar (and the Ravens when healthy) is a danger.
Thats not to mention that DeShaun Watson may well end up on an AFC Team AND Aaron Rodgers could be QB of pick (Broncos, Steelers, Dolphins, Browns).

Said all week if we don't pressure Birds nest head, we lose. And that's what happened. Back to the draft drawing board on pass rushers.
Game 1 - Mahomes threw it side arm and Rousseau tipped it up and intercepted.
Game 2 - Mahomes threw it even more side arm and it looked like he threw around Rousseau and hit Hill.
It was probably that play that screamed, it’s going to be a special night for Mahomes.

The Bills have a great regular season defense. Can’t play well in big moments when all the chips are on the table though.
Buffalo Defense hadn’t faced a competent QB in command of his own Offense since Brady/Bucs on December 12, 2021.
It was probably too much time in between and not enough exposure to High Execution Offenses.

Think the 2022 Schedule will provide actual legit competition to battle harden the team and prepare them for the 2022/2023 playoffs.

Because Buffalo is a Small Market and seemingly liked by many of the National Media/Twitter world…
…Tonight’s game will not go as badly for them as it might have if a team from (see below) lost after having a lead with 00:13 left:
New York
New York
New England
Chicago
Dallas
Los Angeles
Cleveland
In this instance being a likeable small market will help shield the team from the outcome this past weekend.

The media? Belichick?? Who in their right mind would hire this guy? All he'd do is sit there, scowl, and give one word responses as a color commentator.
He has all the personality of a mouldy, rotting vegetable.
He definitely is like that with reporter pools. But if you see him in other venues away from being asked about Patriots football it really is night and day. At least on the NFL Specials or Interviews when he pops up.Media I feel are the the ultimate romanticizers/mythologizers
if a A player scores a touchdown or makes a good play, according to the MEDIA, it’s not just a touchdown or a good play it has to mean something more. it means that he’s become more of a man or he’s dug deeper or he’s fighting for the Honor of his team and his town.
but Bellichick is the ultimate realist IMO. A good play to him is, “yeah…he executed well.” That’s it. Because there is always the next play and what you did before doesn’t mean it will happen again no matter how rosy you paint it.
-
Hope he does not stick around too much longer. It would be nice if he still had some juice left to be around the league or media in some capacity.
Not sure there is a head coach who has a love for the history of football or the sport itself more than Bellichick.
Has to be some sort of way he can pass all that knowledge on or in some way. Primetime/Game Day Specials or what not.

Rams…
just think they LOST Robert Woods to a fluke injury just after getting OBJ too.
my goodness.

I mean maybe, I don't think he realized what had happened yet.
No, he probably didn’t. And ABC had a choice…just focus on the injury or try to stir up a controversy by showing 10 replays of in hope of clicks. Well there you go.

Why go for 2 there? Even if you make three 2 point conversions, it's still a 4 score game.
Maybe if hold rams to a field goal…
you now only have to convert 2 two point conversions versus 3.
or 3 touchdowns win it.

This is two years in a row where he’s completely fallen off in the second half of the season.
I don’t even see Cardinals fans defending him this hard.
I think being the 1st overall pick and going to a team THAT BAD … as Arizona was to get the 1st overall pick.
and then go
5-10-1
8-8
11-6 (Playoffs)
that looks like improvement each season. And he’s only 24 years old.
I think those fans…cooler heads in the executive office will prevail.
Murray will get healthy (since that injury in Green Bay put him out) and should be good for the foreseeable future.
if he can stay healthy.

very bad timing on his part to be THAT inept in the playoffs of all places......have to give the Rams credit ....all in all a very bad day at the office
Absolutely. But Everyone moves at their own pace. Some really good QBs did not fair well in their first ever playoff games…others do and some are 50/50.
But I think with his talent and Kingburry Offense. Going forward Murray is usually going to be a threat for 4500-5000 yards passing 40 total TDs and in MVP talk.
as long as he stays healthy too.

I’m sure this has to have been mentioned already, but how is Murray a pro bowler?! How was he last of the MVP conversation?
Because he is really good and his numbers (when not missing games) are top notch. Just not tonight.

Rams playing like they know D. Wade is in the building! Wow!

Alright McVay…enough kiddie gloves. Time to dial up Van Jefferson and starting putting the squeeze on.

Pitt had absolutely no business being in the playoffs. Absolutely pathetic showing.
Anyone know when they usually released next weeks schedule? ReallY don’t want to wait until tomorrow night.
I think after this weekend…Injuries, the 4th Down Calls and going for 2 points to win it…(which I do endorse)Cost the AFC… Justin Herbert/Chargers and Jackson/Ravens in the playoffs. And in their place was Raiders and Steelers.
Having QBs with a dynamic quality like Herbert and Jackson, just make each game a great possibility for something special to happen.
To lose those players, it makes the playoffs from a “entertainment product” perspective…not as strong as it could of been.

Yeah, there was nothing to see here on the egregious side of things.
Plenty of coaches thru plenty of decades have met for less time at mid field after a game.
This is also … just a pony show anyway. You have players and coaches who meet after the game away from the media in private to.

I think it’s just weird how you talk about Allen. You also made the comment that Josh has self esteem issues because he flexes, ( on occasion) to celebrate scores. What gives?
Nothing about you talking about the bills triggers me. I just enjoy calling you out on the nonsense you post.
I don’t think anything I said was off base.the question of this post was was Allen throwing the ball away or not.
my “evidence” to that he was more or less throwing it away…was he seemed relatively unaware the touchdown happened. And usually when Allen Scores…he is dancing, shaking or posing. That’s not a call out. It is literally what he does.

Josh Allen intimidates you…doesn’t he?
I think something about me talking about the Buffalo Bills triggers you.
-
I think his body language post TD told the tale.
USUALLY…after a Allen Touchdown…Allen does what I guess you could describe as some body gyrations…muscle flexing or attempts at dancing.
after this one…he just stood there.
Which leaves me to believe at 98% he was throwing ball away and mildly shocked it was hauled in by Knox.

Not sure how Coach McDermott would want to bring Beasley back after his Covid/Twitter Crusade.
