George wasn't an ***** guy, he did get to eat and watch TV during a romp for a few minutes though the ***** was for orrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr-geeeeeeeeeeeeeee...... -
been to Fenway twice (part of the 32), one was during the 1980s, we got up to cheer Ernie Whitt for the Jays and the section picked up with "ERNIE SUCKS!!" chanting then Ernie hit a grand slam to shut them up his next at bat, probably pulled to the right field bleachers.

great-grandfather was a die-hard Brooklyn fans from the 1920s going forward, he died a week after they won it in 1955, hopefully with a smile on his face. might have been the Robins when he started cheering for them...

this is such a 60s drama or sitcom TV show plot last year, for the first time in almost 40 years, i saw an attractive woman walking down the street and a bunch of construction workers on the back of a pickup starting hooting and wolf-calling at her. -
No denying all due love and respect and admiration for Jack's accomplishments and talent, but he's not a nice man, he's still prickly in his old age, but it's Jack! Lots of people in my life won't forgive him still for his work with restricted golf clubs during his career.

**** i hated that team and it's trapping game.....
-
it's okay to switch when you move to the area, get to games often?
-
they've been skewing the schedule for decades to make it easier for the suckfest teams, and hand them the top draft pick every year, what more can they possibly ask for? (and my team STILL can't build an honest winner for 20 or so years now...) the worst teams get the cushier opponents in the variable games since the mid 1960s. there is no scientific way to improve on this without a Merlin hat and a time machine....

i'm in great shape, it's just that thing change at 50 even in great shape can't imagine what it's like for those getting the squeeze-out in their 30s -
how far back? if the 1950s, how do you deal with young fans who take for granted the team is about winning it every year?

72 Expos... Boots, Coco, Pepe, Stoneman, Clyde, great names for this 6 year old watching them on TV... First game was at Parc Jarry in 1976, then the Jays came to town in 1977 (probably 2,000 games with them) and a camping trip from Toronto to Los Angeles to Vancouver and back through Chicago that took in 9 parks in 1977. Count is at 32 MLB stadiums, most no longer in service, Washington the last addition a few summers ago, no plans to expand the list.

--------------------------- and in comparison to 1986, the revision is made that Jack was a cuddly lovable man, in fact he was a cold machine that was despised by most fans just for who he was and projected, Tom Watson was the people's choice by a million-fold for those duels, Tom broke our hearts on at least 5 major showdowns, even recently... Tiger has come back from the phony shunning he took for his selfish personal choices, there is no bigger bunch of hypocrites than rich golfers... and the injuries he had to fight back from. Good thing he is all about himself and didn't listen to the billions telling him he was through and mocking him the last attempts at comeback.
