since 1964, this is the year why the insane desire for the Browns to become SB champions immediately exists..... ????? big part of why the Steelers have had a handful of losing seasons since 1973 the only reason i can gather is people are old enough to remember the Browns being the only team on TV in Buffalo and Southern Ontario, so they have a warm feeling still for Otto Graham and Jim Brown glory

i would not posit that professional Reports and schedules have ANYTHING to do with dicking around here i guess you might someday aspire to be part of an actual situation with professional Reports and schedules issued that matter to those paying for them?

well, the GOP is in the White House, so everything is a deliberate and satanic attack on people... -
i'm not into the 10,000 word arguments on here my work is paid for real value added and we are subject to an equal opponent ripping through our Report and the outcome matters BIG TIME to my client the arguments about the economy are the direct opposite of my work day, i laugh at it all

the point was that the drop in the Dow in a day may be "TOP 40" historically but it's starting the day above 26,000 so it's a blip context context context

the actual economics of the trade is interesting, took a few US history courses in University, one on slavery and Reconstruction learned about some never-mentioned facts, one essay was on the rice crop's importance 5 months in Arkansas in the summer convinced me of that reality -
they HAVE to beat the Jets.... c'mon man!!!

the media is quick to jump on "one single headline" to blame for the ad hoc trend, then dumps it quick used to have a game for my long obsolete IBM PC Jr. called Wizard of Wall Street which did a great job with options/puts/calls let me go back and replay each day with 20/20 hindsight, made billions of dollars

one entertaining article last week debunked a lot of the 1619 stuff cotton was only a major crop for a few years, it was a longer fad than Tulip Bulb mania and noted that Florida wasn't developed till well into the 20th century, so if cotton wasn't developed it was no bigger economic loss than the fact that oranges weren't harvested until recently in history and SUGAR was by far the most evil crop to work in (Louisiana's main max-sec prison still sends work details into the sugar cane fields, for which suicide and severe self-inflicted wounds is a major concern), and sugar wasn't a main crop of the US some of this was tongue in cheek.. amazing how sugar gets this free ride on its harvesting slavery history and how it is allowed to put 60g in fruit drinks and coffees... -
any given Sunday is said after the fact BETTING and cashing in on those epic upsets is another matter (my gambling days are long behind me) ----------------------------- love the posters on here going "DUH..... 2 easy road wins and then Cincy will be a joke and we'll beat the Pats and start off 4-0"

i didn't mind, but people i went with to the game would complain ENDLESSLY about commercial breaks and then the replay delays, almost harshed my mellow considering there's about 12 minutes of post-snap actual action in the game, it's not much for the 3.5 hours you are at the game (takes about an hour to watch a tape of the game)
-
watched it from day one and they announced many times this was going to be a part of the show was able to guess about half of them during the first showings John McEnroe got a strange script about his unfaithful wife... and it was on the credits at the end who the celeb phoner was... Mac's best show was his Curb episode...
-
i heard the announcers tell me, in the 4 games i watched, that at least 125 guys were 100% guaranteed to be in the NFL and big contributors so they have been told to do a Gruden and tell me everyone is a Hall of Famer and every pass is a play of the Century?
-
i realized around the age of 6 (1973 season) that very few road games are easy wins in the NFL. and i haven't seen much to disabuse me of this notion since then unless the home team has 100% made a run for the bus for the rest of the season or is critically injured and worthless Bills should win this one, but i'll be watching and waiting for the other shoe to drop... i can't even get that cynical there is a lot of reasons for optimism here with a franchise QB in town (been a LONG time...) but it's a steep learning curve to get to serious contending and when you are playing for the WC week one you can't drop games like this
-
tape the game and watch all the plays and hi-lites in under an hour on a Sunday off I can do this for 7 games

Trent was a decent QB until..... not a single Bill was even remotely aware that this great player on the other team was coming, many of us yelled out "NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!" as he showed he was blitzing.... nighty night, baby!
