  1. Wisky and TTUN Irish and UGA that's about it for the non-gambling fans who can only tape two games to enjoy this weekend
  2. who on earth has a good reason to start lecturing us on how the point spread will turn out?
  3. always enjoyed the way he tackled, the clips starting at 26 seconds are among my all-time favourites, when they hit like men.....
  4. weighing this thought.....
  5. no argument there i have not met a bureaucrat or fraudster or psychopath who could have dreamed of standing there talking like he did....
  6. you mean like the Bills GM who told us 1. he didn't know Rex was going to be fired 2. he was not consulted on it, his opinion was never asked for 3. he just found out Rex was fired at the press conference 4. he has no opinion on the matter at all
  7. I wouldn't like something about 2 feet off the ground as i drive into it, on the drive home morons on occasion leave the forks on their forklifts a foot off the ground trying to catch a sleeping driver
  8. has to be better than getting mowed down in about 30 minutes in international test cricket, even with stall tactics has to be better than our National Team of NHL stars completely dog****** the first game of the Olympics or Big Tourney and losing to France or Azerbijan and then playing the scrappy underdog card the rest of the way
  9. you have the schedule handed to you and can face a lot of cupcakes in clusters in the end the truth will show up, and over the years
  10. i'm convinced the Bills can finish 2nd in the division.
  11. well..... they can get away with this against another hapless opponent?
  12. he couldn't sink lower than throwing a football at his son's face yes Doug, we get it.... we know he isn't going to react in time to catch the ball before it hits him
  13. Richard was the smart one on the show, Charles the token alternative lifestyle fop.
  14. Stones HTW was released before anyone heard of The Band, arguably the greatest Stones single of all time. Keith got into work with Ry Cooder and Gram Parsons to make it all cool. It wasn't advisable to spend quality leisure time with Keith back then...
  15. i will tape it all and while through it at my leisure does Canada have a chance to win it all??? :D
  16. they aren't "wrong" because their values don't matter in reality It's almost impossible to gather the information of a private enterprise, let alone all 32 teams to come up with a useful value, zero credibility in this report Forbes does this all the time, they guess at values of teams, they guess at the richest people in the world, it's a fun thing to publish, but if you won't stand by the opinion in reality, it's worthless. okay Doc, if you are working professionally in this field you can have an opinion besides reading the headline and going "WOW WHAT A GENIUS!!"
  17. Civil War buffs watching with me howled with laughter at the horrible errors in basic fact all through the series. For Vietnam he took the usual lazy overview of liberal historians, one good thing was he included the info provided on what the Northern leadership was up to in strategy which is sort of a new area of information.
  18. Giants came out and gashed the Bills bad in a handful of plays running 75 yards for a TD and then fortunes turned around 180 degress the next 58 minutes hard to say, the Giants secondary was one of the most pitiful to take the field in NFL history.
  19. how do you KNOW this, as a professional opinion for expert witness testimony, or standing by an opinion that will be sued back to the Stone Age if wrong the rules of valuations don't really play with the extremes of the market, definitions and models take a common sense approach those buyers for whom $$ is no object destroy all reality for value Forbes like to send out pure guesswork, gets them in the news, maybe sells some more magazines
  20. nice to have grounds for optimism for a change
  21. it's all on paper and it's a private entity, so it's really guesswork Forbes does this all the time and everyone whines about how inaccurate they are... their multiples may not be the best for values
  22. did he seriously have the backing to make an offer ? we're only 25% on the exchange, right??? haven't cared in awhile...
  23. what laughable errors will Burns keep in, that would have been pointed out immediately by anyone with knowledge on his insular research team? and what will he focus on foolishly to the detriment of the series??? like all that portion of Jazz spent on Louis Armstrong and Duke Ellington, with minimal time to Miles Davis and going forward, almost nobody under 90 could give a fiddler's fart about Louis or Duke any more... or insisting that 98% of baseball's history and concern was over Jackie Robinson, endlessly.......
