    i've seen 3 people die in fights outside NFL games, 2 weren't intended as a solid punch caused a person to fall real back on his head and die one was a savage beating with full intent.

    i marked results for spreads pools for years, and i can't count the number of times the spread reversed in the last minutes of a nothing game, causing me to remark the pool picks. i've never felt that a win or loss was at stake in "fixing" but last-minute backdoor covers make me wonder.

    Pats the last few years have taken some bad beatings and the media dances on the grave of the totally destroyed and defunct Pats and then the Pats just put their war face on the rest of the way (gotta do better than send Andy Reid to do a job for a real clutch coach)

    and it's a point spread, not the largest lead during a game the Bills could be down 28 and put together a garbagetime backdoor cover the winner on spreads flips often in the last 2 minutes of a game due to those pesky backdoor covers....

    that's the goal, but they are often heavily exposed on one end of a given game if they've made a brutal error they allow the first party to expose it to make a large bet, then close it off

    100% accuracy i've met a few like this, i tell them to send me their picks for the week coming up (i won't be using them) they always fail to produce ahead of time, they talk big afterwards though... i expect the Pats to see this game as a STATEMENT game, as they pummeled the Steelers all game long....

    i enjoy watching the games, i would like some pleasant surprises this year, it's a learning season for the future.... they are a boring franchise, even when they were on top in the early 70s they were boring to watch watching games from there is boring that's the secret to their success
