  1. just waiting for the first fumble or INT or mess-up then declare the season over
  2. outsiders needing losses from the above 4 ..... a one-loss Pac12 Champion, a one-loss Alabama, a one-loss Georgia beating LSU in the SEC title game (would kick out Bama on the spot) bartering for the big $$$ bowl games outside of the playoffs has a lot better room for conjectdure.
  3. probably not, but he might do something that forces them to fire him
  4. has a team beggared out of a schedule contract because the first game didn't go too well?
  5. All undefeated big conference schools will get in: 1) Clemson seems the safest bet Also possible undefeateds are 2) LSU/ 3) Ohio State or Minnesota / 4) Baylor that would take care of it all pretty simple, there's your four... not gonna happen.... i totally guess..... one of these teams flops on the way to the playoff (LSU can biff this!!)
  6. it takes a village idiot
  7. that visit to Miami is always dangerous
  8. There won't be a 2nd WC from that division and Balt/Pitt are in good position over the Browns
  9. that Steelers game should be the "championship for a WC spot"
  10. the play on review was obviously a forward pass, kind of weasely but still a forward pass why is anyone still arguing about this?
  11. eball, you are looking backwards, the game is forward driving, Minnesota is in the Big Ten (yes i know it's possible many fans did not KNOW this until last week) the rankings mean jack squat except for Notre Dame and mid-majors (like Boise a few years ago) to see if they get the love from the media to make a serious playoff push the game is about 0 or 1 losses and winning a big conference championship game then they have the no-brainer selections and maybe 1 or 2 interesting decisions for the Final Four of Football what would be more valuable to a big-$$$ non-playoff Bowl committee.... a 3-loss Michigan or Minnesota....
  12. the bank that doesn't foreclose
  13. a chance for bad teams to know in their heart if they just show up and try they can win today
  14. ST is the one that teams figure they can let slide by when the O and D have such obvious problems trouble is the Pats see ST as a major priority, figures it helps with a handful of wins every season....
  15. gotta finish out a winning drive like a boss not play cutesy-pie games and hope for a tie with a long FG
  16. for 3rd and 4 they had just under a minute and a time out to get another 15 yards pissed away 20+ seconds and then stupidly went long that cannot continue if they are going to be serious over the next 3 years\
  17. gotta learn how to close out a win it's nice to be in the position to start thinking about how to close out a win
  18. ST have been a joke for the Bills for decades, aside from ace punter Moorman
  19. that settles it then
  20. no undefeated "at-large' possibilities, SMU lost and that takes out the "Boise pity vote"
  21. This is called missing the forest for the trees... Minnesota has 2 hard games to go and maybe a third in a Big Ten title game, won’t be in the playoff unless it finishes undefeated
  22. steve Christie is long retired passive play is fortunately almost never rewarded in any level of football
  23. A learning situation and hopefully a character builder. josh is developing just fine
  24. Had a minute plus a time out to get better field position hopefully we never see this strategy ever again they all have to learn how to win
