I’m annoyed I bought tickets for the subway series in June to go to Sunday night baseball.

This team is just a mental midget. They’ve been getting multiple run leads this entire series and can’t hold them. I’m really getting fed up with the decisions Mickey is making. Takes Gsellman out to bring Blevins who hasn’t been reliable at all this year. Could’ve had Gsellman, Lugo, and Familia pitch but Mickey, and Eiland are pitching “gurus” & know better. I know they have a double header and probably need lugo to start one game but we needed to salvage this series as a split and should’ve been coaching for today not for this upcoming week.

Honestly, Vargas needs to go the pen and come in for blowouts basically. I think the logical option is Gsellman to the starting rotation since lugo is way too dominant in the pen to be taken out of it. There is is no way sandy thinks these guys can get the job done.

That's a little alarming if you ask me. The season is still young yet he's almost blown more saves this year than he has done in full seasons prior. He was never meant to be the closer. He was the set up guy (which is his best spot in my opinion) and Mejia was the closer before getting popped for PEDs, and eventually being banned for life. So, in hindsight he has done a really good job.

Yup, offense is terrible but when you give your closer a one run lead in the 9th he needs to shut the door. I'm not a fan of familia and currently on the brink of being physically Ill. We just lost a series to the worse team in the entire MLB and scored 4 runs yet still had a chance to take 2 out of 3.

The braves just released him. They have Flaherty over there and he isn't doing anything spectacular. It just seems odd they would release him when they have a need themselves. He currently is rocking .143 BA, I hope it works out but can't say I'm hopeful.

Yup, it totally reminds me of that. I also remember they used to stop the game when Jets would fly over. I was at work and when I saw them make those "high-balls" I was thinking to myself, I could drink both of those right now. I get that. I also have to remind myself that Vargas had basically no spring training, but getting a solid start like that out of your number 5 guy I'll take it 10 out of 10 times. We need Thor and DeGrom to be hitting 7 innings each outing like the elites do. I like Mesoraco already. He's got pop and calls a good game. Plus, he can play solid defense with throwing and blocking the balls in the dirt.
