  1. I wouldn't be surprised. Then again, I wouldn't be surprised if they go 10-6 either (though, I would be if they win 11 or more). Too much uncertainty at this point.
  2. You may need that bike, depending on what you order.
  3. I don't really get being upset over it all, myself. I'm aware of the protests/political statements. But when I'm watching a game, that stuff just becomes white noise for me. After the game is done, if I care about any of it, I'll look it up. If not, my life goes on. Guess my wife is right about selective hearing.
  4. Was in an accident that totaled the car. It was an older car, though, so wasn't a huge deal. As for general wear and tear issues, had muffler and carburetor fall off of a Ford Focus. Car was 12 years old, I think. That was about a month after some electrical wiring in the car disintegrated and left the car unable to start. (Car actually shut off on me as I was driving it into the parking space of the mechanics). Was starting to get transmission issues on it when I traded it in. All in all, I've been rather lucky with my cars.
  5. I think that happens only if he hits Tom Brady.
  6. Paul Posluzny Marshawn Lynch Bruce Smith Two Thurman Thomas jerseys (one autographed, one to wear)
  7. Movie would have been more enjoyable were it not for the moron who brought their 1 year old kid into the theater. At least I get a free ticket for that.
  8. Hopefully not this parrot.
  9. Well, they haven't hosted a playoff game since 1996. Still, a long streak. They haven't won a playoff game since 1995.
  10. You have to remember that down the stretch last season, SF was one of the most exciting teams with Garrapolo (or however you spell it). Buffalo, kind of backed into the playoffs and now lost their starting QB.
  11. I may be in the minority on this, but I'll say wide receiver. Merely because the guy he would have to be better than would be Jerry Rice.
  12. I don't drink coffee....
  13. Only when you scream. Mine: Teleportation
  14. Absolutely agree. I was there too. I attended with my friend, who was a Browns fan. He couldn't even enjoy that win for his Browns because the game sucked so bad. If I recall correctly, it was heading for a tie until Roscoe Parrish fumbled a punt.
  15. I feel like I've seen this debate with Lee Evans before.
  16. Interesting situation. If it were just a normal restaurant, I would have let it slide. Since this was a very expensive restaurant, I'd probably talk to the manager. They aren't going to do anything unless you speak up. They still might not have done anything had you spoke up, but at least you would know that in case you think of visiting in the future.
  17. Also, I think Better Off Ted had some potential.
  18. A bit of a guilty pleasure, I always like Pushing Daisies.
  19. People should be able to choose what's best for their family. Unfortunately, McDaniels didn't have that same thought for the three other families he just uprooted. Real classy guy. Also, no, I wouldn't feel bad because that's the nature of the business HE chose. If you choose this job, you assume that risk. And don't equate this to the three families he uprooted. It's not nearly the same situation.
  20. The reason why assistant coaches would follow McDaniels and sign is because they see great opportunity (you know, taking the better job prospect). Hard to fault them if it's almost unheard of of a coach pulling this kind of stunt. Coaches tend to want to get a head start on things and McDaniels couldn't sign before the Super Bowl. I could be wrong, but I don't think anyone is saying he was contractually obligated to stay with the Colts. Just that he went about this in wrong way, ethically.
  21. 1. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2018/02/07/chris-ballard-were-disappointed-we-had-an-agreement-with-josh-mcdaniels/ Straight from the GM's mouth. Also, it's now being reported that his agent has dropped him. But continue sticking your fingers in your ears. No one is saying that he was obligated to take the Colts job. Just that he was an idiot in how he pulled out after hiring coaches and leaving them hanging.
  22. What world are you living in? There is no "probably" about it, the Colts GM came out and said that they had agreed to terms. No, he didn't sign the contract, so he's not contractually on the hook. But if you think the other 30 NFL teams aren't taking notice of this, you're out of your mind. Would you, as a coach or GM of any other team, want to look at this guy knowing his past in Denver and now what he just did to the Colts?
  23. He is a "bad person" because he told the Colts that he ACCEPTED a job that, if what you say is correct, he wasn't sold on and then proceeded to hire coaches, costing them their previous positions. You don't want to leave New England? Fine. Don't mess with other people's careers, though.
  24. Was Brady out of the pocket at that moment? https://www.sbnation.com/nfl/2016/11/8/13560260/richard-sherman-bills-illegal-contact-walter-powell
