  1. Always a fan of this road combo… classic
  2. This is important and shouldn’t be overlooked. Going from 1 to 2 would be a much better situation than falling to 3 seed. KC isn’t losing to DEN or LVR, so the Ravens are a key matchup.
  3. I’m pretty sure this is about Carr’s contract and the Raiders ability to get out of it. If Carr were to be injured, the Raiders would be stuck with him. They have a brief window after the season to move on before the contract becomes guaranteed and it looks like they’re moving on.
  4. There will be no reason to. Best to take a week or so off if the Bills end up in the wrong side of it.
  5. I agree, but we’re told differently by media types. See, those teams are just “ taking it easy” and “ going through the motions” until the playoffs, or they’re bored with the level of competition.
  6. Maybe, though it’s not the traditional road uni. Lots of teams wear white pants so not sure if that’s an influence. The Bills have seemed enamored with blue pants this year , but I don’t think they’ve worn them with white jerseys very often in the Allen era. Maybe less than 10 times for that combo? Anyway, we’ll find out soon. I don’t think the Bills are wearing those this season. Thought I heard Sal C mention something about that. Too bad because I love those AFL throwbacks. My fave Bills uni of all.
  7. I’d guess white on white but have t seen anything yet. Probably tomorrow.
  8. If the Bills are in the 1 seed going into week 18, don’t be surprised if Bills/ Pats is moved to 4 pm. I believe KC is 4 pm and the NFL won’t want the Chiefs to know the outcome.
  9. I doubt it. The eye test says the OL is awful at “selling it” … looks like a fustercluck out there.
  10. This appears to be the case. Odd, as McKenzies best game by far as a Bill was @ NE last season. He was a feature in that game plan running crossing patterns all day. You’d think the Bills would do this more regularly but it’s not a part of their offense in general.
  11. I don’t believe Jim Kelly ever won an NFL MVP award, but maybe I’m mistaken.
  12. Bingo. They’re not looking at them or at least not much. It’s not an MVP award anymore, it’s a best QB stats award. Easy as looking at stats, no real leg work or in depth analysis required. As pointed out , Mahomes has played almost every game in ideal conditions. That’s more than enough to account for a couple hundred yards over a season.
  13. I see it as a scheme / design thing. Watching the Chiefs in particular, Mahomes is often throwing to college-open WRs. There’s no a defender within 4-5 yards pretty regularly. They have space to create. The route concepts in the Daboll/ Dorsey offense don’t seem to have the WRs in these open spaces. Josh often chooses to zip the ball into a tight space further downfield than to throw underneath to a guy with more room to roam. Haven’t looked in depth at this but that’s my impression just watching casually.
  14. Watching KC beat up on the Broncos? No thanks. Rather watch MIA vs Pats. If KC was playing a good team then sure that’s a better option.
  15. Hahahaha. Kind of like that , just one that is actually good at coaching.
  16. SI power rankings has Bills at 1, Eagles 2 Chiefs 3 Bengals 4 . If you don’t like one sites power rankings, look for another. You know that old saying about opinions…
  17. 2021 kind of weird year: “ wind game” at home vs NE.. @TEN slip on QB sneak or it’s a likely win. Prime time Josh will show up for this one.
  18. McD and Frazier are pretty good at coming up with defensive game plans that give them a great chance to win. They’ll be ready. Josh is going to determine if the Bills win this game.
  19. Death by a thousand cuts is pretty much the Bills defensive philosophy to a T. Didn’t see that game , but I did see NE had a good chance to win late. That’s about what I expect here. A last team with the ball and some time on the clock wins type deal. Josh will probably be the difference win or lose.
  20. Well, blow em out anyway ! Yes the “experts” will always bow to Pat the rat. The Bills will show them in the end. It’ll just make it that much better when Allen hoists the Lombardi. Agree. If not, they’ll be around 7th.
  21. Apprehended ? Lol … no longer amounts to squat in NYS unfortunately. They’ll walk… Sadly that’s due to folks with your mindset.
  22. They’ll hire a young offensive guru type. No issues with Denver D. Their offense is pathetic.
  23. I’ll think on this after the Super Bowl. Man, we had a LOT of years where we were talking draft in October. This just feels kinda like stores playing Christmas music on Halloween.
  24. Yes , Bills hype was over the top early in the year. The pundits have reverted to their true colors and that’s fine. Agree on SF- they’re my dark horse for the SB in the NFC. The more I see them the more I get the feeling they end up winning the NFC. They are dominant in the trenches and have a super QB friendly offensive system. Fans forget that they won the NFC championship game a few seasons back where Garrapolo hardly passed the ball.
  25. Just nuggets for fans to chew on. NFL thrives on hype. It is a business after all. We tend to think of milestones a lot in 5 years , 10 years etc so not that unusual. A record for the first 6 seasons sounds odd. It’ also includes the first years of an NFL players development at a difficult position to transition to from college ball. It probably takes five years to know if your drafted QB is good or it’s time to move on. That’s why there’s a fifth year option for first round picks. Anyway, at the game’s key position it’s a remarkable number to achieve in the first 5 years. That you have to go back to Marino , who had a rookie campaign for the ages says a lot.
