  1. True. If only the #1s are going to win, just go directly to the Super Bow after the regular season and skip the playoffs altogether. A closer look shows the AFC # 1 on defense withunder two minutes to play in a tie game and the #3 needing only a FG to win with possibly very little to no time remaining if they move the ball. The NFC game you have to throw out because the better team imo lost their QB in the first quarter. It’s actually quite realistic that both home teams could have lost yesterday. The only thing guaranteed by the one seed is a free pass to round 2. Important , but far from a guarantee to reach the Super Bowl.
  2. So the real situation is that you’re nite OL/ team can’t win and needs to be replaced ? Or that you simply got outschemed and out executed by another coaching staff/ team ? If it’s the former that’s interesting because only one team wins their final game the last I checked. You don’t need a perfect team to win the Super Bowl. That’s reality. The real situation with the Bills shows that they won 13 regular season games and lost 3 by a combined 8 points. That’s not a hypothetical. It sounds like you think that if team A beats team B in week 5 they will automatically beat them again in week 12 , or even the next season. See where this is going ?
  3. Wrong. There were OL, he didn’t have air in front of him. Bengals used a quick passing game and the Bills could have too. There were no unblockable defenders in that game. I didn’t see Bruce Smith or Deacon Jones out there in a Bengals uniform. No JJ Watt in his prime. Coaching and scheme matter and the Bengals scheme worked to perfection because the Bills gave them exactly the look they wanted time and again. You tip your hat to them , but their chess pieces are not superior or unstoppable.
  4. Probably none, but the fact is Josh seems greatly affected by wind/ rain snow. That’s a problem for an outdoor team in a bad weather city that depends on their dynamic QB for about 90% of their success.
  5. Not saying they were playing the same, and Miller obviously had a huge role in that game. A lot of issues were on coaching , however and to ignore that would be silly. The Bills still have Josh Allen. As great a game as Chris Jones had for KC Vs the Bengals still left the Bengals with possession at the 2 minute warning in a tie game. A dubious play call on 3rd and 3 ruined their chances combined with a dumb PF penalty on D afterwards. The QB is still THE most important thing and good coaching can find a way to win. A perfect game is rarely required to win, even in playoff games.
  6. Hasn’t happened Vs KC, and the Bills already played them this year. The Bills did fine because Allen is better at escaping the rush and off script plays than Joe Burrow. Different matchup.
  7. A different Offensive game plan, more similar to what the Bengals did would have worked fine in those conditions.
  8. Or just maybe Reid’s current QB is just a tad better than what he had with the Eagles.
  9. Thank you. The KC rush hasn’t gotten to Josh the last 3 times. He’s a lot more elusive than Burrow and far more dangerous off script. The coaching in the playoffs was a C and an F.
  10. Weather definitely plays a role because unfortunately Josh doesn’t pass as well in rain/ snow . He’s fine in the cold but needs dry conditions. I had a bad feeling about the Bengals game when I saw it would snow the whole time.
  11. Jones had a very good game, but the Bengals still had the ball inside 2 minutes with a great chance to win. They inexplicably threw a deep pass on 3rd and 3 in an area of the field where going for it on 4th down wasn’t an option.
  12. The game was pretty even talent wise and play on the field wise. The officiating is bad ( usually favoring KC) but that’s across the board in all games and you kind of expect it. Still, the Bengals had the ball and screwed it up. They could have stopped KC late with almost no time to execute a FG try or from a very long distance and took an awfully stupid penalty. Definitely a great look at a road playoff win for CIN.
  13. Seemed pretty even to me, with KC getting a few questionable calls. CIN had a great look at a win with possession in the final two minutes and pretty much threw up all over themselves .
  14. I think he’s been good, not great. Certainly not like the media makes him out to be , throwing out nicknames like Joe Cool… there was only one “ Joe Cool “ and he’s got a lot of rings.
  15. Very good point and was thinking the same thing myself
  16. Maybe he did , but both feet were clearly out and the defender didn’t pull up. Just not smart football , and only 8 seconds to go in regulation with no timeouts
  17. Maybe you missed it : the BILLS were not going to finish the game.
  18. You’re wrong. McDermott wasn’t going to continue the game even if it meant the Bills had to forfeit and said as much to Taylor. The Bills weren’t going to play and did not care about the consequences.
  19. They did, but the Bengals had the ball and proceeded to blow the game all on their own.
  20. I’d understand it more for KC.. that flag’s about 75% more likely to be thrown
  21. Sometimes you should just go with your gut. Weren’t going for it on 4th down there so get the first , use the clock and leave no time.
  22. I thought the guy clearly pushed and didn’t pull up. I don’t think it was a flop though I can’t stand Mahomes
  23. It should be called every time because it’s a foul .. period.
  24. He had a good game plan. Still could have easily lost but a good plan nonetheless.
