  1. Didn’t it say that Sanchez threw the guy against a dumpster after being stabbed by him ? Then he took off. Doesn’t sound like Sanchez was going to murder him but what do I know ?
  2. Our luck with falling on those fumbles ran out. Was definitely a huge moment in the game.
  3. Now , the Bills poor play was largely the reason for their demise. However as soon as I heard it was Hochuli, I groaned. I knew the Bills were in for a lot of offensive holding calls, ticky tack defensive penalties etc. only the most flagrant of fouls would be called against NE. For fans who don’t remember Hochuli, he’s the Ref that watched the Eagles rough Allen on a pass play and promptly threw a flag. Incredibly it was a flag on Allen for grounding as the pass fell short of the LOS. Yeah, that guy. The Bills have no one but themselves to blame as they were sloppy with procedure penalties and turnovers.
  4. The Bills D is a pretty average unit. They gave up around what they usually do. That’s to the likes of Tua and Spencer Rattler. The Bills offense threw up on their shoes and that was the difference last night. They usually give the Bills leads and cover up somewhat for the defense.
  5. Well yeah, they did. If not the Bills defense that let them make the plays , who was it ? Look the kid QB was pretty good. They put up 23 points against an average defense. The Bills turned the ball over and took a lot of undisciplined penalties. If they played their usual game and put up around 30 like they typically do they win. The QB looks like he can play and has a chance to be pretty good though. He’s far from elite but he’s got a shot.
  6. He was pretty good, but certainly not so good that the Pats should have beaten the Bills. The Bills beat themselves and gave the game away.
  7. Well, Reid and Co seem to outcoach us in the rematch every time. The Bills always need a few more plays in the end than they are able to get. Do they need to lose the first matchup one of these times to prevail in the seemingly obligatory rematch ? Just somehow through happenstance avoid the Chiefs altogether ? KC did manage to get around 10 points more than their season long ppg average vs the Bills defense in the title game. I don’t know what the answer is, but when they consistently lose the playoff game, perhaps it’s best if some other team is able to knock them off. Easier said than done , I suppose.
  8. They will need luck imo. Specifically what they need is the #1 seed and to avoid the KC Chiefs in the playoffs. Without that, I think they’ll fall short.
  9. Yeah and it’s nonsense. Pats are not a bad team, but they’ve still got a ways to go. They’ll be tougher than Jets and ‘Phins for the foreseeable future though.
  10. It was an important game for sure. Still sets up well for the Bills, they’re just not dominant enough to lead the AFC throughout the entire season. Lots of football left to be played, but they did too many things outside their winning formula to notch the W.
  11. Defense was okay, not great. Gave up around the Pats average ppg this season. Offensively the Bills were just plain bad. Definitely an L you can place at the feet of the offense.
  12. The Bills were not going undefeated this season. They will lose “ winnable” games as they’re all winnable. There are no perfect teams, as we’ve seen so far this season.
  13. Yep. If Hoculi is assigned the Bills game , you know that’s one battle you will lose. Better make it up with takeaways, no giveaways, run the ball effectively etc.
  14. It’s a long season. The Bills were ( and are) going to lose games, and you’re not going to lead the AFC start to finish. The Bills were exactly what they’ve been, just with more critical penalties and some turnovers thrown in. That equals a 3 point division loss.
  15. You know what you’re getting with Hochuli , and it isn’t good. The Bills gave this game away ,which they usually don’t do. I figured it would be about a 6 point or less game with the Bills winning. The offense threw up on themselves too many times to achieve victory.
  16. It’s just one game .. this season anyway.
  17. Yeah kind of. Only watched about 3 minutes of the game live, so didn’t really root for anyone. Totally get it for folks that did though.
  18. Never liked ‘em. Rooted for them a couple times- both in SB’s vs Brady.
  19. I think you’re onto something here. The suspended players will be back on the roster soon. They’re trying to hang onto their guys vs making cuts. Tough choices I’m sure , but better than releasing a guy you think may get picked up.
  20. Yeah, for those thinking of the mythical “trap game” this by definition can’t be one. The trap game is vs a non division opponent, if one believes in such things.
  21. Not disputing that he played week 1, but he was practice squad initially
  22. Didn’t they wait until after 1st game to sign Prater to active roster to avoid guaranteeing salary ?
  23. Oh, this won’t be any great defense . You can bet on that. Still, don’t you always need to outscore your opponent to win ?
  24. I disagree. It usually takes a fair bit of luck to win the SB. While only a few teams really have a chance to win it in any given season, they certainly don’t all beat 3 great teams en route to hoisting the Lombardi. . Things often fall into place favorably for many of those SB winners.
